The reason they “have to reset for every win” is because the machine runs an internal counter for how many times it has been played since the last win. The higher the number, the higher the chance you will win. By waiting, you got around the “luck reset” making the second win easier than it was supposed to be. I’m on your side though, if it’s a game of skill, then it should be determined by pure skill

If you pay for a service and the service provider gets mad at you for using it then its time to spend your money elsewhere.

hi! I also work in round1 amusement, and this staff member is completely wrong 😭 winning both of the zipties is perfectly normal and makes things easier for us. I frequently find that customers deeply apologize when they have to call me over a handful of times in a shift to help grab their prizes. I'm always excited for the customer to win, and they are never a bother for having a fun time and winning more 😖 Helping customers with their prizes and seeing them smile is the highlight of my job.

The movie thearter one is so accurate, almost never win on them. The one close by to me I was curious what the payout is and had thr money I was willing to dump into it. Was $150 for a prize I could buy retail for $30

I won a plushie from an amusement park last year, the plushie was kinda dirty and the production year was 2001😐 i am still in shock how i got it😂 poor plushie must have been in there for so long waiting for a owner

Skill based can be easy win or not. At my Round1 they used to be much easier but the best one is usually Treasure Road which is still a payout game but with a bit of skill. And if you have it the push into the bucket game, which is usually easy. I recommend if anyone can afford to do it buy the membership for $5 a year and the $100 ( or $110 depending if your Round1 changed prices like mine. ) Gets you maximum credits value and you can always save half of the credits for another trip. :) My tip for a regular claw machine would be to just stick to the machine until payout and only play for prizes you really want. And dont play a machine if you just saw them reset it. Popular licensed plushies like Sanrio or Kirby etc are gonna be harder to win and cost you more. The for the first day of the Hololive collab alot of people were playing for the 14inch plushies and walking away to try another machine. But because so many people played and didnt win it made payout much faster to hit. I stuck to every machine i played and i won every plush in the collab only spending 600 credits (Under $100) but the 6 inch plushies were too hard to get a grab on. Lol I go there alot and this is just what ive learned. And 100% stay away from those ping pong dropper games. Also theres a prize counter in almost every machine that keeps track of every time someone has won. It will usually be inside the top corner of the machine so you know if the machine has been giving out plushies alot or not. Im sorry for writing a book im very obsessed with Round1 😅

1. Dedicated claw arcades like Claw Daddy are all skill based. I have a big bag of plushes from there. 2. Candy machines and most claw machines with balls in them are all skill based. 3. What's your thoughts on the Arcade1up claw machine?

I’ve had much better experiences with the chibi claw machines at Round One. Since they’re smaller, the prizes are lighter and the claw doesn’t have far to travel after grabbing the toys.

People don't do well with the claw because people misjudge depth. Aim the claw as you want but tap the joystick 1-2 times backwards and it should work
