Wow! Does this bring back memories! Wore these as kids (Pom Pom and all) and we cousin's would run and slide all over grandma's kitchen floor. Good times!

The slippers are great. My Nana use to make similar ones for me.I will make some at some point but I will put puff paint on bottom so I won't slip. Thank you and Happy Hooking!
Awww, I love how people call their grandmothers Nana, it means "Seven" in Japanese, and it happens to be my 1st daughter's name too, but with "mi" at the end which it would then be pronounced (naa-naa-me), which then translates to " 7 seas"🥰‼️💪💪💪👨👩👧👧🇺🇸🇯🇵🌏🗻🗾🙌🙏🙏🙏
Ah! Thank you so much for this. You're a godsent. My fiance grandmother has cancer and her feet are always cold. She wants me to crochet her some slippers she can wear around the house. Thank you!!!
I love your explanations! I just watched your video for the Jewels slippers and I want to make them, but now I want to make these, too! You're amazing! love your patterns! Thank you! ...(and I am a life long crocheter! 50+ years)
This pattern is by far my favorite for slippers. I do have a question and not sure where i might post that, so I'll try here. If someone has a wide foot, how would you go about making these wider - how and when would you start to decrease - say you started off with a chain of 31 or more?
I've always wanted to make these. Thank you so much. I love your videos because they're easy to follow. I also like the "time" feature so I can skip to the place Ineed.
Do u have a pattern just like this for toddlers? I have no idea how to change the pattern to fit a 2 year old. I want to make this slipper for my niece. Thank you! Love your videos🙂
You are amazing just subscribed your tutorials are so clear, I have a question can this be made with #4 acrylic regular yarn with a 5 hook, this is all I have? and if so will the pattern still work or do I add more rows or stitiches. Thank you
So I started the slipper for size 11 LG but I have about 11 rows out of 17 done and I'm looking at the sole and everything and I have a larger foot and should have a wider width I'd say . Looking at the sole space the eight flat in the center it just seems so small and put against the bottom of my foot like is if it's just going to fit down the actual center of my foot so my question to you is I'm assuming that I would have to do more than 24 stitches in order to get it to fit my foot properly you know what I'm saying so if eight in the center is what makes the soul it needs to be bigger so the sides would need to be bigger too so if you're doing eight for one side eight for the other side and eight for the middle your soul I'm assuming the number would need to go up for a larger foot what do you think?
A few Women want to learn , do you do your live shows still ? This a lovely video!!! I learned very young and don’t remember how to name what I’m doing but follow well ! Lovely video and information I understand well !
😱soooo cute! ♥️ I need a women’s size 5....😩 Would using a smaller hook work?? Please say yes....😁 I’ve been wanting to make crochet slippers but they always seem so complicated. These look like I can do them. 🙌🏼😉
Follow the Size small instructions. The first few rows are exactly the same. Just leave out two rows for size small. That means you will stop at row 12 then complete the pattern as normal( the decreasing section)..... just incase you're still confused. In the video where I say Small complet 12 rows, you will only complete 10. then follow the pattern as normal.
Help! I have WAY to many stitches at the end of the decreasing rows. You said to skip the 1st stitch, do (7) back loop SC, (8) reg. SC, then (8) back loop SC again to finish the row. Then you said to repeat that for 10 rows. I did that & have 23 stitches in my final row. What did I do wrong?
@@cathyrowe594 it seems you didn’t continue to decrease by one each row. 23 rows minus 1 stitch each row for 10 rows should end with 13 stitches. Hope that helps.
When I got the “skip 1 stitch” part. It was decreasing only on one side. Am I suppose to chain 1 in every row still? Or just crochet without chaining 1
Legit question. What is the difference if you work on the back side of the bump of the chain. Will it also make a difference on this pattern if you work on the non bumpy side of the chain to do this project. So curious to know. Thank you in advance.
If making LG, you show us the 1st decrease row, then say to follow that decrease for the next 10 rows, so would we have a total of 11 decrease rows or 10 in total decrease rows??
my name is Raquel I live in Florida thank you for being great teaching i just love the way you explain very clear may i ask you were can i buy the foot which you use in this video have a blessed Thanksgiving for you and your family
Great teacher…….hardwood floors and slip and fall with crochet slippers….what can I put on bottom of slipper to avoid slipping and falling. My family members have hip replacements and I don’t want them to fall wearing crochet slippers…thank so much Lucy.
My mother used to knit a similar looking slipper when I was a kid. She sewed nagahide (yeah the spelling is wrong, but it's that fake leather stuff furniture was made of in the 1970s) to the bottom of the slippers. It reduced slipping & made the yarn last longer too. Hope that helps or at least gives you an idea to try. PS: I just thought maybe some of that rubbery shelf liner would work.

Follow the large pattern expect the when I say at 17 rows for the large you will add 20. Follow the pattern as normal

If I use a 6.0 hook will it make too big of a difference I don't have a 6.5
