Thanks. I'll put a few up in the shop, but Jamie is very excited about using my drawings, sculptings and other artwork to decorate the Great Room in the House. We'll have to make more..It going to be Grrrrrreat!
Lookin good brother, Won't be long before you start working on projects in there. after the ceiling is done put a speaker in each coner an run the wires (in the attic) to a receiver on a side shelf. (TOONAGE!!) Toons to tool by. HA HA HA !!! It's all coming toghter little by little, going to be great when it's done. PEACE AND LOVE FROM MINNESOTA......BARRY✌
One of my good Friends passed about 12-years ago and left me his collection of 70's Classic Rock Albums. It has all of the good ones and there are about 80-100 albums. I already have the gargantuan speakers and old school Kenwood Reciever , amp and turntable...(FILM@11!)
Yeah, it’s extremely cold here in Michigan tomorrow morning and Wednesday going to be 4° below zero glad I got the day off. Didn’t work today. Either been sick since Saturday evening getting a little better. Well as always, my friend appreciates you sharing I’ll watch for the next one.👀👀 until next time peace and chicken grease😁👍👍👋👋😎
The accuracy that you cut the outlet holes with was very impressive. I'd have a pile of match wood if I tried to do that job! So happy to see things coming good for you and your good lady. It's been a long time in the making and is a pleasure to watch.
Rick it ALL looks great!! I've been watching your progress, so happy for you guys, Now if only I could do the same think. We had to move our shop again.
Progress to C.T.RANCH ROAD HOUSE GARAGE ,Fantastic job Brother Rick ,Ms.Anabella and Sister Jamie ,❤ LOVE JIM J&R MOBIL SERVICE AND GOD BLESS ALL OF THE CRITTERS ON THE RANCH
I know I would be real thankful” for all that sheeting’ It’s like $40.00 per sheet if you have to buy it..!!!!!!! I would be using each and every piece of it..
Well.....its actually less than half that per sheet, but why WOULDN'T a guy be grateful for it and why wouldn't I use every sheet? You're preaching to the choir my Friend.....Amen and Thanks for another visit Rooster.
The only thing I might have done different on those walls, and I know it's an added expense you may not be able to afford, but I'd have run plastic sheeting over the insulation and under the particle board for an added moisture barrier. But either way, I'm happy for both you and Jamie, you both deserve this and all that you have.
Eventually you get to a point in your life where it hurts too much to be stupid. That's about the time when you stop working harder than you need to. I'm glad to see your dream coming true, you earned it!
Lookin good Rick!!! BTW, two things FYI: 1- If you put screws on those sheets @ 8" intervals instead of the spacing you currently have, it will increase the "added strength" probably by 50%. 1/2" plywood that is used for "shear strength" is always shown @ 4" centers with 8d nails. This isn't "plywood" so I wouldn't go more than 6" which is why I am recommending 8". On camera, that looks like one screw between what you already have. ;o) 2- You can use those fluorescent fixture carcasses for much better/modern lighting by simply purchasing T-8 size LED lamps that use the existing lamp sockets at each end of the fixtures. The "Ballasts" get removed and you simply provide 120 volts to the lamp sockets. The lamps are pretty inexpensive and you can choose very high "lumen" outputs while also choosing whatever light color (Kelvin) count. 4000 - 5000 Kelvin will give you very bright light. You can use them in Jamie's garage and maybe even in the big building. A cord reel and a air hose reel would be good things to have also.
Yes, I DID know that. They have a HUGE list of major accomplishments under their belts! Terry has consistently won major awards for doing what other people think is impossible. He's an amazing man and has built a legendary company. They move rockets and space stuff...I don't even know what some of it is, but its all huge and heavy. our house was child's play for them.
It looked great in the Xmas 🎄 video Rick and that’s leading me to thinking if your already taking apart those trucks that you mentioned!!???? I’d love to be a fly going around the ranch seeing what’s happening in real time and probably drooling over all the parts you’re putting together for people to finish their projects!!?? Give me the news about it at 11:00 😂!! ✌️👍tell Jamie I said hello and I can’t wait for the next episode!!! Oh don’t forget Anna Bella too!!
Super nice like how you take the time to cut the outlet box wholes nice sqare up not bad Rick, is that pile of osb deferent the pile you put in the big shop just asking or just extra for ya
That's what the driveway is for...haha. The two shops have a stand of 3 large Cedar Trees between them, so...no. Its a good thought Christopher, I may put a covered walkway between them at some time in the future, but right now I'm just happy for the two buildings.
Safety....Smmafety.....Modifying the Kubota to get the job done!!....Good forklifting!! I am a "professional" Forkift driver...driving a 12 hour shift the last almost 20 years...with over 40 years on and off experience.....Which means......anything I crash into.....knock over.....or drop ......has been done by a "professional"....and not some "Hack".....LOL...
Jamie's laughing at the start cracks me up everytime...
Her laugh is contagious.
Those are some nice drawings Rick
Thanks. I'll put a few up in the shop, but Jamie is very excited about using my drawings, sculptings and other artwork to decorate the Great Room in the House. We'll have to make more..It going to be Grrrrrreat!

So true John. Thank you.

Dennis. Believe it or not, I did not think about the vapor barrier and I'm kicking myself. That would have made it more gooder.
Coming along nicely rick after you have the inroof done then its time for white paint to reflect the lighting ✌👍
A lot of people are wanting paint on the walls....except Jamie and I.
Yeah that's asum your almost ready to build 3-4 trucks at a time should be great 👍 fun work rewarding to your favorite 😍 hobby job 😀 🎉
I NEED to build 3-4 trucks at the same time...seriously. Thank you.
Eventually you get to a point in your life where it hurts too much to be stupid. That's about the time when you stop working harder than you need to. I'm glad to see your dream coming true, you earned it!
Thanks David......I think....haha.
Heck, yeah awesome Rick hey, but what’s up with that different color outlet cover😁😁
The red outlet covers are for the 220. White for 110.
Do you not put up vapor barrier under the wood?
I honestly did not think about it, but wish I would've.

Holy cow...my head hurts. Hey...if you ever want to come camp here on the river for awhile.....I can make sure you won't be bored.
Hey Rick did you know Emmert International moved the spruce goose. From long Beach to Oregon. Now you know!!

Doesn't anyone believe in jig saws?
I believe in Jig saws, and as soon as I find mine, I'll put it in a special spot in the new shop...Haha.
Hi Rick
Hi George.
Super nice like how you take the time to cut the outlet box wholes nice sqare up not bad Rick, is that pile of osb deferent the pile you put in the big shop just asking or just extra for ya
The pile I put in the big shop is thicker, tongue and Groove that we can use for the flooring on the house.
@ClassicTruckRescue heck yeah
What's ur thoughts on connecting the two shops together
That's what the driveway is for...haha. The two shops have a stand of 3 large Cedar Trees between them, so...no. Its a good thought Christopher, I may put a covered walkway between them at some time in the future, but right now I'm just happy for the two buildings.
They are RECEPTACLES !! NOT PLUGS !!!
I'm pretty sure you've heard me call them receptacles more than once. Thanks for the comment though.
Now paint it now😮😮😮😮😮
Everyone want to paint the wood...except me. Thanks for the visit.
