Grow-A-Long Nigella

Nigella is not quite as hardy as some of the other Autumn Jump Starter seeds but over winters beautifully in a cold greenhouse.
Slow growing we will pot on once in January before planting out in the garden early Spring for amazing flowers during summer.
After the blooms fade, Nigella will create beautiful seed pods. Use these fresh in arrangements for added texture or turn them upside down to dry for everlasting flowers.

Goodness, I’m growing something out of a locally-produced seed packet labeled ‘nigella’, but the seedlings sure don’t look like that 😂

Thanks for the encouragement ! But I really think I’ve been caring for weeds! They are growing horizontally and have produced pollen 😅
