  • Zinnias are actually light sensitive so if you start them too late you’ll have to wait ages for summer flowers!
    I’m mindful that it’s cold on Sunday night, so if you sow your Zinnias this weekend by the time they are up and ready to into the greenhouse the temperatures will have risen again and you won’t be tripping over seed trays. All the details are in the video

    Hi Zoe, this might seem like a silly question but when you dib the hole to pop the seed in do you not then cover it? It looks like where the seeds have not yet germinated there’s the original hole if you know what I mean. I’m about to do mine this weekend which is why I’m asking. Thanks

    Do you plant zinnias in succession for a longer season?

      You’ll have an issue with light, they are very light sensitive. You can find more information in my Grow-A-Long handbook

    I planted seeds and they got tall and stringy with just 2 leaves.....what am I doing wrong
