    I take Arginine and Ornithine together in one capsule. It lowered my bp from 180/99 to 125/75 within a few hrs. I take it with Magnesium 250mg before sleep since it can make you drowsy. I use Vit Shoppe brand which has good Amino Acids. This worked for me when NYU Langone could get mine down after several days inpatient and trying prescription changes that just made me feel exhausted and swollen. I tried herbs which budged it a little but the Amino Acids alleviated the problem. Even though my bp has been marginally regulated with 40mg of Lisinopril and a water pill - 140-85 ish but I still was lightheaded and felt pressure on my head. The Amino Acids lowered my pressure and all my side effects. Hope this works for you. It’s also very inexpensive per dose. Hope it works for you.

      @@zoey1125. My BP dropped to normal in a week using my 3 items.
      I didn't use the supplements this guy suggested as I was afraid I would end up with low BP!
      Luckily, I'm not on medication so I don't have to worry about Interactions.
      Good luck

    Great information David ! I just started taking a Arginine/Citrulline/Niacin supplement and a separate L-Citrulline (1.2g) daily.

    Will it help if you supplement with citruline instead of arginine?

  • @vincentc6788
    @vincentc6788 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    so sir, this change from Arginine to Nitric oxide happens were in body. I mean wether in blood or muscles or in particular organ..pls tell. And you said NO is highly volatile. how much time it stays after becoming NO

    • @DrJQuillen
      @DrJQuillen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NO disappears in secounds. NO is made by the endothelial cells that line the blood vessels, so it can act on the near by smooth muscles surrounding the blood vessels.

    • @dknc7393
      @dknc7393 ปีที่แล้ว

      Where there is shear stress on the blood vessels, eNOS is "stimulated" and convert L-arginine to NO. NO diffuses and into the smooth muscles, some gets into the blood stream. This makes sense to me even more now because I noticed every time I finished exercises, took a shower and my blood pressure drops.
