Notice that Halo Fireteam Raven does happen to be set in the same timeframe as Halo 1 because this arcade game is set during the Battle of Installation 04 which we remember seeing in Halo 1. And I would agree that Halo Infinite should definitely be very amazing and hopefully the Flood returns in that game and I hope to see the Flood Juggernaut in that upcoming Halo game.

The fact that the game is based off the first halo game, we already know how it's going to end for all the human forces on the planet. The fact that in spite of overwhelming odds, the UNSC forces fight to the very last bullet knowing there is no way they are going to survive is nothing short of awe inspiring and a shining example of the human spirit.
If you read the novel First Strike (a tie-in novel that bridges the first game with Halo 2), there were a handful of survivors that survived the initial destruction of 04.

Not gonna lie - I still think this would've been cool as a lightgun game. Just being able to hold a big, brightly-colored goofy replica of an Assault Rifle would pretty much seal the deal on it.

Basically the plot is from the book "The Flood" which is a novelization of the first game. The only difference is that it only depicts the human side story while in the book we see the covenant side to these battles as well.
Yeah, the characters like the AI, Major Silva alpha base all owe their existence to that book, and The Fall of Reach which paved the way for pretty much every single book that followed
Escaping the boarding, the raid on the crash site, and the Covie attacks on the Autumn survivors during the Chief's campaign. Those were big moments in the book. The addition of the Flood encounters and the last stand/stall for the Autumn's self-destruct were a nice touch.

I haven't read The Flood in over 10 years, but did the Covenant actually send a Scarab to try to destroy the Pillar of Autumn like in the last mission of this game?
I remember that the Odsts were doing other stuff for Major Silva in the flood and that he hated Spartans cause they killed his men for an experiment and that Yayap the second best character in the book and the elite he saved trying to kill Master chief kept failing
but wouldn't having pelicans flying around in the background having a battle with a scarab contradict the feel of lost hope you had when echo 419 got shot down cause if there were more pelicans chief and cortana to contact one of them to pick em up, then again the battle would've explained where echo 419 was in the area to pick up chief and cortana and where those banshees that shot her down came from.
Yeah it was in Halo 2, it was an unfinished flood form that was going to be in the game but either they decided not to or they ran out of time, it's in Halo 2. You have to mod it in though, it's somewhere in the game files so you have to spawn them in

Been a LONG time since I've played an arcade game, never could beat House of the Dead or Time Crisis. This looks really fun. Also, I always pictured Alpha Base as being in a more heavily wooded area, like in or near a forest, guess it makes sense that it'd be in a flatland if they buried Scorpions to defend it.

gameglitcher4 it wasn’t like that with Jurassic park arcade released in 2015. Ever since the walking dead rawthrills and play mechanix games have been like that since. You can get hit loads and loads of times at the start of the game and not much damage but the further you get the more damage you take meaning it would only take one hit eventually and it’s the same with this game and nerf arcade also by rawthrills
This being largely a Raw Thrills production (a company ran by a lot of ex-Midway staff), there's a lot of their style to this one. It's almost like a souped-up Halo-flavored version of Midway's Terminator 2!
Just had the amazing chance to go to Dave & Buster’s yesterday to check this game out! It is superb playing alongside my brother and two of our friends from school, and I love the fact that it uses elements from all the Halo games! Of course I bought the infinite non-ticket games... Because without it, it would’ve cost a fortune

Spartan-Felix Haul Its assumed to be on Alpha Halo but it’s on an unidentified Halo ring. The location where Raven Down takes place is indeed very similar to Forge World because of the way the area looks in that mission.

So basically, this takes place during the first game and these guys are the reason why the enemy presence master chief encountered wasn’t as bad as it could have been.

Thank you for your expensive sacrafice to show us the whole walkthrough. This game looks really stunning and it's an amazing addition to the Halo Combat Evolve lore but it's cruel and unfair as fuck.
I played this for the first time today and I was surprised at the details in this game. Even some of the cut enemies like those giant flood juggernauts. My inner marine came out and I yelled every time the chief showed up. I love how he throws the marine into the life pod just like in the game. It was truly a blast. I was in fact... blinded by it's majesty. Also who could forget when fireteam raven gets into the drop pods. All I could think was "Get set for a combat drop!!".
the way this game just threw the flood at you without any foreshadowing is in a way perfect, the flood at this point didn't need to hide in the shadows anymore, it was just like "hi look who else is in this game!"

I really liked this different perspective of halo ce. The pillar of autumns crew were all real heros in the end. They were able to effectively fight back to the last man standing. That last man standing was the master chief and he eventually saved humanity!
At this point we really need more lore added to what happened during the Battle for Installation 05, so much was happening at once yet we literally only have the game to go off some of the details.
@@Burning-Twilight true but at the end of the day it all led to the same result. The crew built a base they were able to use for a couple of days but then the flood began to overrun it. At that exact moment halo was destroyed. Pretty crazy stuff there.
@@MrRepoman197I don’t remember a base and they didn’t have enough time. They immediately landed by the Library sealing their fate by death and assimilation by the Flood. Those with Chief died after he killed Regret. The rest died on High Charity by the Covenant or the Flood. Now ALOT of marines survived the battle of the Ark in Halo 3.
It is awesome to see the remnants of the pillar of autumn's crew come charging to defend the chief while he goes about blowin the ship's reactors. You just can't beat the men and woman of sgt Johnson's beloved Corp!

Interestingly, the halo 2 anniversary marines are modeled off of halo wars marines.
Some sounds are from halo 3 too. Like the assault rifle and I think the plasma rifle/pistol. Also the magnum is from reach.

Been a LONG time since I've played an arcade game, never could beat House of the Dead or Time Crisis. This looks really fun.
Also, I always pictured Alpha Base as being in a more heavily wooded area, like in or near a forest, guess it makes sense that it'd be in a flatland if they buried Scorpions to defend it.

magnums don't do too well against fully shielded CE elites. Takes like 6-7 shots for the standard elite, more if higher ranked
some of these battles are from the books, it's cool to finally see them represented in gameplay.

gameglitcher4 it wasn’t like that with Jurassic park arcade released in 2015. Ever since the walking dead rawthrills and play mechanix games have been like that since. You can get hit loads and loads of times at the start of the game and not much damage but the further you get the more damage you take meaning it would only take one hit eventually and it’s the same with this game and nerf arcade also by rawthrills

This being largely a Raw Thrills production (a company ran by a lot of ex-Midway staff), there's a lot of their style to this one. It's almost like a souped-up Halo-flavored version of Midway's Terminator 2!

Just had the amazing chance to go to Dave & Buster’s yesterday to check this game out!
It is superb playing alongside my brother and two of our friends from school, and I love the fact that it uses elements from all the Halo games!
Of course I bought the infinite non-ticket games...
Because without it, it would’ve cost a fortune

Spartan-Felix Haul Its assumed to be on Alpha Halo but it’s on an unidentified Halo ring. The location where Raven Down takes place is indeed very similar to Forge World because of the way the area looks in that mission.

This game looks really stunning and it's an amazing addition to the Halo Combat Evolve lore but it's cruel and unfair as fuck.
I was confused at first because how could they have four Spartans
But now I see they are ODSTs
I played this for the first time today and I was surprised at the details in this game. Even some of the cut enemies like those giant flood juggernauts. My inner marine came out and I yelled every time the chief showed up. I love how he throws the marine into the life pod just like in the game. It was truly a blast. I was in fact... blinded by it's majesty.
Also who could forget when fireteam raven gets into the drop pods. All I could think was "Get set for a combat drop!!".
the way this game just threw the flood at you without any foreshadowing is in a way perfect, the flood at this point didn't need to hide in the shadows anymore, it was just like "hi look who else is in this game!"
and the flood taking down that banshee was amazing.
it was also pretty funny how they rode it like that.

I really liked this different perspective of halo ce. The pillar of autumns crew were all real heros in the end. They were able to effectively fight back to the last man standing. That last man standing was the master chief and he eventually saved humanity!
At this point we really need more lore added to what happened during the Battle for Installation 05, so much was happening at once yet we literally only have the game to go off some of the details.
@@Burning-Twilight true but at the end of the day it all led to the same result. The crew built a base they were able to use for a couple of days but then the flood began to overrun it. At that exact moment halo was destroyed. Pretty crazy stuff there.

@@MrRepoman197I don’t remember a base and they didn’t have enough time. They immediately landed by the Library sealing their fate by death and assimilation by the Flood. Those with Chief died after he killed Regret. The rest died on High Charity by the Covenant or the Flood. Now ALOT of marines survived the battle of the Ark in Halo 3.
