I'd love to see you playing in a band, Steve. With such phenomenal musicianship, it would need to be a fine ensemble!

Beautiful kit. My favorite color, in a sparkle no less. Sounds great too.

That floor tom, alone, sings like no other (with a second nod to the kick drum). You do a great job of showcasing these fine drum sets. Keep on, keepin' on.

I used to have a '67 Club Date in the same sizes and blue sparkle covering, except mine was in a bit rougher condition. Sounded great though! Perfect for lower volume rock gigs in small bars.

Sounds like my 1958 Wfl Club duco I received from my dad. Tom's are 13" & 16" with matching snare and base. The sound is incredible!

How about including some brushes and mallets in the demos?

Don’t all drums sound about the same with brushes?

Maybe -but the maxwell team would do any kit justice for us to hear the instrument capabilities with those textures.,

Steve, you could build a band around that floor Tom!

Steve described them as Mahogany but pictures in the link date to 1969. I believe they are maple poplar with clear interiors?

    After 3 years, I finally added a 14 to my 12 20 Club Date....orginally, I'd found a trans badge 15x12 for the kit....Out of sheer luck, I found a beater kit from Klash Drums with a 13 22 14.....Now, I've got a complete downbeat Club Date (early 60's) and a trans badge 13 15 22...Club Date mahagony...'63 Pioneer...If I can just find a Keystone Supra or Acro for it....
