My first drum kit. Stamped 1963. Stored at my sisters house while on hiatus, she sold it in a garage sale. I was heartbroken. A few years later I found a late 60’s Pearl kit. It’s Orange glitter w/o original snare. Bass 2 toms, floor tom. I traded an old Peavey amp for a 50’s Slingerland snare. Right after I bought new heads, hardware and cymbals I broke my left foot. It never healed so my drumming days were over. I still have it and may decide to sell it.
Yeah thanks, I've actually been doing these demo videos because I sell the drums in my online store. So when recording it's just the raw audio from two AKG 451 overheads, nothing fancy just trying to get sense of how the drums actually sound. Thanks!
Let me guess ..... you learned it, so that makes you superior to every other drummer who doesn't utilize it, even though they could make you sound like you've never played a day of drums in your life.

Too bad you didn't learn trad. grip when you were learning to read music and mastering the rudiments.
Why is it too bad he doesn’t play with traditional grip, it’s not for everybody, most famous and wealthy drummers don’t either
I actually do play a little trad. grip, certainly not as fluent with it as I'd like to be.
