Ya know, for a character that is “aligned” with the dark side, Mandalore is worthy of respect, honor and loyalty.
Which begs the question: why is Mandalore considered a “dark side” character?

    • @PaintedHoundie

He's a warrior that was on the side that slaughtered millions/billions with a justification that is essentially "we're a warrior culture; it's what we do". They didn't even fight for an honorable cause, theyre just from a culture that romanticized the idea of war.
We gotta stop questioning whether a character is a true baddie just because they have redeeming, admirable or endearing character traits. Everytime you side with brute strength or kill an innocent you gain influence with him. He is not good or a hero.
And as far as what is being hinted at, the Sith manipulated and used the mandoloruans to wage war and cripple the republic and jedi order. He might damn well be literally being influenced by the dark side. They have a strong sense of honor, they are loyal to strength, even if that strength is used for bad. Loyalty and honor does not auto mean a person or a people are good.

@@PaintedHoundie Loyalty is objectively a noble and good quality as only evil ones betray that which they swear loyalty too.
Do you want to know about those you claim died at the hands of Mando'ade during the Mandalorian Wars? They died because the Republic chose to use them as shields. They put their bases inside cities and settlements that could not defend themselves. To a Mandalorian that is the height of dishonor, even more so than preying on the weak, not defending one's clan, or refusing the call of Mandalore. If the Mandalorians had any discipline, or any administrative skills they would be accepted as a strong ally. They don't just attack anyone on sight and they know how to manage the thousands of planets in the galaxy. And who attacks a huge Republic fleet, with the majority of the Republic Navy at Malachor V? The Mandalorian weakness, the one weakness which the Mandalorians had, was exploited to violent and devastating results

You cannot beat a culture or an idea as long as one person lives. And remembers the culture remembers the history as long as it's drilled into one person's head the mandalorian will return.
