@@CorvusCorone68 that doesn't necessarily mean that he was widely known about; he was much more prominent in the Old Republic era due to his feats and achievements from being one of the few accomplished Jedi hunters of the time, to being recognized by powerful members of the sith and having a potentially active roll during the mandalorian wars similar to that of General Grievous (let's be honest, he basically WAS Grevious, but without any organic components or the use of lightsabers)

It’s easy to forget HK-47 is actually terrifying despite being funny. If not for his programming, he could have found a way to take out Revan and the Exile along with their entire crews.

@shadowyeager It's from the Side Mission in SWTOR called The Foundry. It's an Imperial Side Mission and Revan is the final boss in that mission. This is a quote he says to you when you first meet him in person, after you've just beaten HK-47 as a Boss Fight.

Can we all appreciate how he leans closer toward the sith from the moment you get him? I just really like that, regardless of memory loss, he knows what he's all about.
My favorite droid in the Star Wars universe.
I'd love to see HK47 make an appearance in, say, The Mandolorian.
HK47 is one of the many reasons that KOTOR needs to be made into a live action Trilogy or series.
I just drew a picture of an IG variant that primarily uses vibro-claws, he has the ability to absorb conventional blaster fire with his palms to either redirect to energy into his power core or create an electrical field around his vibro-claws that can stun organics and cause EMP damage to droids, his limbs have special rotating joints for highly flexible articulation in melee combat and I also took notes from grievous's design and added spring loaded reverse joint legs for high jumps/falls and leaping attacks.
Hk a droid so badass he probably witnessed anakin and obi wan's duel on mustafar.
Observation: these meatbags are rather violent today, women being choked and severed limbs. Reminds me of my original Master cutting the original meatbags jaw off. Boy was that fun to watch ~ HK-47

Not sure where you get it, that HK-47 was built after Malachor 5, but in SWKOTOR1 you can restore it's memories, and it tells, that it's earliest assigment, that it can remember was against the Mandalorians. It was captured by one of them and were reprogrammed to kill other mandalorians to help that guy increase his rank. In the end it was sent against Mandalore himself, and failed. Mandalore reprogrammed HK to kill whoever sent it.
There was no Mandalore after Malachor 5 until Revan gave it's helmet to Canderus. Somewhere between KOTOR1, and 2.
So the real reason why malek went full dark side is because of Revans trolling.
I just like the way he talks and the way he sounds. He may as well be the toughest assassin droid in Star Wars history if he lived that long.
I imagine HK-47 was actually Darth Revan's attempt to design a See & Say toy.

Remember... never give HK47 a protocol pacifist package. Even if this be a damn funny thing it isnt pretty. I might be light side user, but it doesn't mean I find it enjoyable to see him let loose with over powered blasters. I give him shoulder mounted chain gun and tell him to kill anything that is a threat to me, the crew, and himself.... then give him a pair of instant kill blasters if he gets bored.

General Grievous and HK-47 would be the greatest Duo had they met.
I'm drooling over the fact that we might see him in the mandalorian TV series one day as a companion of his with wiped memory. Would be cool since the mandalorian started to trust droids again after IG's death. Then after a few seasons together it would be a great chance to introduce Revan into the disney lore
Id honestly love a game where you play as HK-47
T3 M4, that droid had more personality and beeps that you knew were bad words then R2-D2. (Non clone wars cartoon R2)
Extrapolation: This platform, dubbed HK-47, is likely the oldest existing assassin droid in the universe, and likely the most dangerous. It's personality is almost human, while being at the same time sadistic in the sense of a serial murderer with particular tastes in dispatching meatbags. Though it is unclear what's become of it's eventual fate or destination, it seems doubtful that it will fail by any means to a common thug or even trained soldier. Since it is programmed and designed to kill Jedi meatbags, it seems likely it may appear again as a hunter of sorts, so long as it's compensated "fairly."

Playing Kotor 1 and 2 again, I noticed a plothole. Shortly After HK-47s construction, he was sent to Mandalorian space, having sustained damage in his mission couldn't return to Revan, a Mandalorian soldier repaired and reprogrammed him to be his assassin. Eventually sending him after mandalore. This is before Kotor 2, where Canderous ordo clearly states when the exile meets him on dxun, that no mandalore had been chosen after Malachor.
So, what do you reckon?
Can you discuss T3-M4, or IG-88 and his copies? Since in original lore, one had uploaded themselves into the Death Star 2, and essentially WAS the super weapon.
And what did he use that power for? To troll palpatine. That's literally all he did, was fuck with doors
