It leads to a battle where thermal detonators are a pain in the ass. They do drop some decent loot you can use or sell. I liked the color of Mantle better, cant remember the actual effects of either crystal gameplay-wise off the top of my head but id assume I liked Mantle better since I play almost exclusively as Consular for the OP powers but both are pretty powerful crystals and a must have on any playthrough for me. Fuck... Might have to start a playthrough of KotOR I & II soon...

I do not believe any live action version of Revan could ever do him Justice female or male, because Revan is a intentionally a collection of conflicting traits and personalities. Revan was created in the original game as both male and female, lesbian and straight, good and evil… and neutral, generous and greedy, kind and cruel. If Hollywood tried to create a movie universe version of Revan, they would destroy him. Keep Revan in the legends universe, I say. Don’t let them 1-dimension an omni-dimensional character. Fun fact once purchased reven can head to mannan go to the undersea base save his game until equip his party making sure one was holding this lightsaber when he saved go to the airlock leaving the naked party behind and then reenter the base and everyone's equipment would be back on them plus in the inventory actually cloning the equipment and reven did this many many times
I thought the rarest lightsaber was the one using the ghostfire kyber crystal so the blade is completely transparent so you cant see when they turn it on or off. you can only hear the activation/deactivation.
Still hope we get a canon force user whose kyber crystal did the same as Revan's Jedi crystal. Naturally transitioning from Blue to Purple when Revan fell to the Dark Side. That's honestly my head canon for Jedi Survivor. After Cere's death Cal's lightsaber naturally transitions into a color mixed with red (blue to purple yellow to orange etc.)

He shifted between them as needed, just like EU Luke adopted a dual Saber style, using a shoto, in order to defend himself against the lightsaber whip. He would go back to using one Saber, because he was more comfortable with it. However, he keeps that shoto on him, in case he ever needs it. Your headcanon isn't canon. Let it go bro.

@human i belive its up for debate because there some who have said that he chose to wield it like a tool but never fell to it. Kinda like Mace Win Du but Reven used more spells and abilities of the dark then Mace. Mace could do certain spells but always restrained himself.
as you said, many associates Revan with the purple blade, but he actually used his green the most (in legends, its the lightsaber he made on Dantooine during his Jedi retraining)
Revan literally was the chosen one of the old republic, he mastered both light and dark. He even had force storm and teleportation. He went through all stages of a force user basically being a jedi Padawan using a blue lighsaber, than being a jedi knight using his og purple lighsaber, and then was a master at a time using green as well, then went on to become a sith using only a red lightsaber and saw through the jedi lies. Then he realized even the sith are wrong and became a grey jedi/anti hero type which had no sides. using both his red and purple lightsabers. and began his own thing and creating his own form mastering every aspect of the force and even stronger after his resurrection, in the old republic basically only vitiate could defeat him. He is definitely one of the strongest force users. Probaby top 5 ever

Revan owned a LOT of lightsabers, and a lot of other stuff too. Revan owned at the very least a shopping cart full of random stuff he brought with him everywhere and he took anything that wasn't nailed down in case it came of use later. I know, i played as him.
The best part is, that's totally canon. He had a collection of sabers, trophies from the mandalorian wars, multiple sets of robes, several holocrons both Jedi and Sith, his own holocron, he even canonically took a hunk of the Star Forge home with him.
FUN FACT, I’m KOTOR 1 you can actually get this crystal that turns your blade the bright deep orange color and it has special affects, it can only be used by dark side force users, in the legend of kotor it’s said that the crystal corrupted an Jedi who tried to use it, which is why it was sold to a rare dealer which eventually made its way to revan, just a cool little backstory of the canon behind this crystal!

I mean, Revan was pretty cautious with ancient force artifacts. Man looked at the Star Forge, an ancient, force powered super factory that could arm an entire galactic empire, and said "you know, maybe we shouldn't rely on this." To be fair, the Rakata lost their entire, species-wide force ability from using it, so he was right on that one.
There are other orange sabers, and other black lightsabers. The orange ones are normal, Chewbacca's nephew Lowbacca had one. The other black lightsabers are the result of an actual, literal zombie virus.
There are two Unique kyber crystals that are essentially the Force made manifest, both used by Revan: Heart of the Guardian (orange-red) and Mantle of the Force (blue-white).
While he may have possessed it, Shadows and Light shows him with the Mantle of the Force which is another mythical crystal of the same rarity...and also found in the same place in the Yavin system

He shifted between them as needed, just like EU Luke adopted a dual Saber style, using a shoto, in order to defend himself against the lightsaber whip. He would go back to using one Saber, because he was more comfortable with it. However, he keeps that shoto on him, in case he ever needs it.

You have to revisit him a couple of times as you collect pieces of the Star Map. He expands his inventory to include a lot more rare items after the 4th or 5th star map fragment.

He attacked twice, at the 2nd/3rd and 4th/5th, and increases his inventory both times as repayment for saving him.

Reven was tactical genius and powerful force wielder. He never fell to the dark side, he chose to use it as a tools.
@human i belive its up for debate because there some who have said that he chose to wield it like a tool but never fell to it. Kinda like Mace Win Du but Reven used more spells and abilities of the dark then Mace. Mace could do certain spells but always restrained himself.

as you said, many associates Revan with the purple blade, but he actually used his green the most (in legends, its the lightsaber he made on Dantooine during his Jedi retraining)
Revan literally was the chosen one of the old republic, he mastered both light and dark. He even had force storm and teleportation. He went through all stages of a force user basically being a jedi Padawan using a blue lighsaber, than being a jedi knight using his og purple lighsaber, and then was a master at a time using green as well, then went on to become a sith using only a red lightsaber and saw through the jedi lies. Then he realized even the sith are wrong and became a grey jedi/anti hero type which had no sides. using both his red and purple lightsabers. and began his own thing and creating his own form mastering every aspect of the force and even stronger after his resurrection, in the old republic basically only vitiate could defeat him. He is definitely one of the strongest force users. Probaby top 5 ever

Revan owned a LOT of lightsabers, and a lot of other stuff too. Revan owned at the very least a shopping cart full of random stuff he brought with him everywhere and he took anything that wasn't nailed down in case it came of use later. I know, i played as him.
The best part is, that's totally canon. He had a collection of sabers, trophies from the mandalorian wars, multiple sets of robes, several holocrons both Jedi and Sith, his own holocron, he even canonically took a hunk of the Star Forge home with him.

FUN FACT, I’m KOTOR 1 you can actually get this crystal that turns your blade the bright deep orange color and it has special affects, it can only be used by dark side force users, in the legend of kotor it’s said that the crystal corrupted an Jedi who tried to use it, which is why it was sold to a rare dealer which eventually made its way to revan, just a cool little backstory of the canon behind this crystal!

I mean, Revan was pretty cautious with ancient force artifacts. Man looked at the Star Forge, an ancient, force powered super factory that could arm an entire galactic empire, and said "you know, maybe we shouldn't rely on this."
To be fair, the Rakata lost their entire, species-wide force ability from using it, so he was right on that one.
When I played through KOTOR (and using a cheat), the Heart Of The Guardian was a light blue, the Mantle Of The Force was a orange/bronze color.

There are other orange sabers, and other black lightsabers. The orange ones are normal, Chewbacca's nephew Lowbacca had one.
The other black lightsabers are the result of an actual, literal zombie virus.
There are two Unique kyber crystals that are essentially the Force made manifest, both used by Revan: Heart of the Guardian (orange-red) and Mantle of the Force (blue-white).

While he may have possessed it, Shadows and Light shows him with the Mantle of the Force which is another mythical crystal of the same rarity...and also found in the same place in the Yavin system
