  • This is the perfect mod to add some chassis reinforcement and properly located rigidity to your Festiva! This is a must for high HP cars, and a great way to repair rust issues for Festivas where the crossmember bolts have rusted out. This is also needed for proper radiator clearance on a B6T swap!
    Buy the plates here!
    thefestivastore.com/products/...
Here are the sizes of Angle Iron you'll need:
    1x 41 ⅜ ” Long 2”x3”x¼” steel angle
    2x 7 ¼ ” Long 2”x3”x¼”steel angle
As always, if you have any questions about this video (Or about anything Festiva!) send me a Facebook message using this link:

I loved the voiceover welding and drill sounds.

I appreciate you keeping it real, makes the projects accessible to most of us.

You can now ad "Foley Artist" to your resume!

The self-provided welding and grinding noises are superb.
Neat to see this. Wasn't aware this is a mod that needs doing, but seeing how flimsy the stock core support is, I can certainly see why!

Seems like a no brainer for swapped Festivas

Thump the plate and say "that's not going anywhere."

awesome demo! Been doing this stuff for years, What brand of step bits are you using that will power through those spot welds ??? incredible!!!! I I have never seen anything like it!! I burn around the spot weld with rotary cutters. as the spot welds are hardened metal and will destroy the average step bit in seconds please let me know , what step bit you use, well worth the money! thanks

@@kyleeeeeify1 may surprise you, these are the super cheap ones from Harbor Freight haha. They do pretty well when kept at least a tad bit cool.

Had to jump on the store real quick, just in case the plates get sold out, lol.
