    I’m putting in a cft EGR delete I know where 99% of parts go but there is a roux cancel plug with O ring around the center and I believe there is I teardrop cap the goes over it. My question is where on truck does it go ?

    • @kbridges5.0

      There is a line that goes off the charge pipe into the block the plug goes where the line used to. It runs straight down from the pipe

      Maybe it's a big challenge with the epa. Lots of companies are in a way grandfathered in, but to start a new company, making these parts can be problematic, I'm not saying no but it at least would be a while

    Man I've been following this from the beginning honestly and I'm happy to see it was able to be fixed and back online in a fair and timely manner considering all the set backs you had to go through one thing if at all possible I'd love to hear your feedback with the mods that are on the truck how is the transmission handling and holding up to the extra power I've tried to find tunes for the aisin trans only to find its vin locked and that's not an option I will be getting mine back fully tuned and deleted here in the next couple days and am looking to go a very similar route with my own titan XD so I would love to hear your thoughts on it and it may even be possible good content for other people interested in this same question glad you stuck it out and got it all figured out thanks man!.

    Head over to Mishimoto and get the inter cooler with piping and while your at get the radiator..!

    • @michaelbertrand13
      @michaelbertrand13 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don't need to spend the money on the intercooler or a new radiator. You only need a bigger intercooler if you were to install a larger turbo. Otherwise the larger intercooler doesn't compress the air as much with the stock turbo and you'll lose power.

    Loved your video.
    I have a 2016 Titan Platinum Reserve with a 5.0 Cummins engine also and I took love my truck...have it for about a year now.
    My engine light came on and off and on again at a different day and it lost power temporarily.
    I had the code read and it shows the turbo boost actuator is at fault.
    Took it to the dealer and they confirmed the code but told me it would take hopefully at least 5-7 days to get the part and it was going to cost me $1900 plus tax to get it fixed.
    So I told them ok when the part comes in call and I'll bring the truck in and they said I shouldn't drive the truck, not even bring it home, because if I drove it the way it is, it could severely damage the engine.
    So the truck is at the dealer and I can't work because I do handyman work and all my tools and things are in an enclosed trailer I tow with the truck.
    I read that it only takes about 10 minutes to remove and replace to control valve so, I'm thinking that this $1900 price tag is WAY overboard.
    How difficult was it for you to change it and did the dealer have any qualms about remapping it since you did the work ?
    I also would be interested in talking with you about the "deleting" of some things.

      @@jaycevessier7554 sorry maybe I should have clarified. I have a extended warranty with 35,000 miles for my Titan for everything else. Also I have another warranty which is the lifetime Powertrain. Both of these warranties come from fidelity it's an insurance company. I've already used the heck out of the extended warranty before my miles gets too high for everything that could be wrong with this truck. I still love this truck. It's more of the family truck so I don't want to use it as a project truck. I understand what you're saying but with this one I did purchase this part of the plan. So I have all the documentations for this warranty. So far I love my Titan. If I take it easy with the truck I average about 16 miles to the gallon. Even when I dog it I might get 14 and 1/2. My father-in-law has the newer one which is the Titan XD Platinum Reserve 2022 4x4 gas obviously. But he likes to step on it too much so he averages 13 miles to the gallon. Family of Nissan's. My stepson has the brand new frontier. And my mother-in-law has the 2-year-old Nissan Rogue.
