If you do read comments you will notice I have left a negative comment in this section which clearly demonstrates not all people watch in full the video -ALSO PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A LONG BARROW -I research fully area information before a video release
Thank you once again for an interesting video & beautiful music to compliment it with. We are so lucky to live in this part of the country & with so much interesting history of our ancestors. Thank you James. Penny
Thank you Penny for watching-Every word you have written is true -A great area with so much mystery and history -I am forever seeking the unwritten history that sparks my imagination . This provides me with an understanding of our ancestors based against the limited information I discover 👍
Another interesting video thank you James. Love these ancient places, yesterday l visited Sodbury Hill Fort, 11 acres enclosed by ramparts & ditches. Jan
Sodbury sounds very interesting Janet-Thank you for watching my small adventure in history -I totally appreciate your loyal viewing of my small channel 👍
Good evening James, thank you for a lovely little wander. Its a shame your troll doesn't seem to get what your channel is about. Keep up the good work. Thank you 🧔 👍
Thank you Bob a very valid point-I totally enjoyed my visit to this little known area looking at the history, mystery and finding the stones possibly that were part of the complex-Thank you for watching and your support which I totally appreciate 👍
Thank you for watching my small adventure in history-I am sure these stones were from the Long Barrow area -There are probably far more if you look around the area 👍
I'm glad you felt tranquility there, I think the unease we felt was due to it not really being a place we were supposed to be, back then, the farmer wasn't very happy with people on his land. I'll visit it sometime soon and I'm sure I will also find it peaceful. Excellent and informative as always James. Cheers 🍻
Thank you Robby-Each Barrow and each area I research and visit have a different feeling-I think my respect of ancient areas and the unknown of what they actually got up to there drives me on-I am learning more as I continue on my historical quest-Thank you for watching this small adventure 👍
Thank you Andy-A great place to visit and imagine the Neolithic scene , another area of mystery and a small adventure in history-Thank you for watching my friend and your comment is totally appreciated ⭐👍😊
James, have you seen the burial mount near Crockerton? When you turn off at the roundabout near Cley Hill, you take the road going to Heavens Gate, you take the road to Crockerton & as you go a long there is a turning to the right which takes you to Bradley road, as you drive a long, there is a group of trees in a field on the left, which my Dad always told me that is a burial mound. I just wonder if you knew about it? Penny
Top notch again James. Take no notice of the troll - is this the guy who turns up on other channels spouting nonsense? Your videos are great - unlike one or two other slickly produced history channels you bring the viewer in, stick to the subject matter and don’t bring any politics into it!!
Thank you for your kind and accurate comment-I try to spread the joy of finding historical places and as you state I think it works for us all-Thank you for watching my small adventure 👍
Hi James, I must have angered the TH-cam gods, they keep deleting my comments!! Great exploration of these stones through the cloying mud on what looked to be a cold but sunny winter day. Do you think they were quarried or were glacial remains? All the best!!
Hi David,I believe that these are quarried or gathered from further away as the Ice Age drop does not cover this area . I am sure the stones at the Farm came from the larger now missing and ploughed away Neolithic funerial complex-Thank you for watching my friend and your great comment ⭐⭐⭐
I thought James that the use of devil and similar was entirely down to the christian church. Something to frighten people so they didn't "slip" back to the older and presumably seen as competing religions? Perhaps its handy for similar structures to have unique names so everyone knows which set of stones people are talking about. Names with a bit of mystery, the place is all the better for it ?
I agree with your comment as with all areas the more you think about things the more complex it becomes-Thank you for watching my small adventure in history ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

Thank you Penny I will have a look at the side by side maps I am sure your Father was correct , I think it may be a round barrow ?
