Thank you James, I lived down Gloucester way for a few years and spent many days around Glos. Wessex and Somerset walking and visiting as you do. I never ran out of places to see, but I ran out of days to see them. Im back up in N.Wales now and enjoying watching you visit the places I didn't get round to. Cheers 🧔👍
Thank you Bob-So much fun tracking down and exploring areas that are close to where I live and I had not investigated until now-I started with maps then walked-You can't beat feet on the ground history 👍
Top notch again James. I discovered some more recent history whilst geocaching in the area this year. Eleanor’s well in the modern day Lower Marston village was funded by the rector’s wife Eleanor Vere Boyle in 1852, the water piped from near the big house. Thanks for another excellent video!!
Hi James, what a lovely walk that was. The village really shines out in the Lidar and also on Google maps, on the ground though harder to tell but it also survives in the OSMap too. Your enthusiasm comes over very well on film. Well done!! All the best!!
Cheers James, going to Glastonbury for Samhain next week, had already decided to do a walk to a DMV, had not heard of this one and it’s right on our route via Frome, another great video, well done sir.
