Worthy mod! I am considering easycap to use as DVR myself on two crafts not meant to carry an HD cam (namely Mako and Shrieker). Will rip it apart and use similar wire. Thanks
I've trying to figure out a cleaner way of connecting a fpv reciever to my Samsung tablet which I know has OTG. That way Iam utilizing items I already have. My only expenses will be the FPV Reciever, mini DVR, plus a battery to run it all. I was thinking a 3s battery should do the trick. So what do you think?
Great job. Really good re-hack idea! Thanks for posting. edit comment: @Rookie Rotors ; can you test latency of the video for FPV? According to a few other videos using all the crap cables they had a 120+millisecond latency for the feed. I was wondering if your direct connect would help with that.
Matt Bennett i would like to, but now i am using skyzone goggles and sold the other one. sorry. this hack is not meant to be used for fpv racing, because the easycap + app always adds latency. its more for spectators or just for recording. but as i can tell, there was no noticable latency.

Perfect...Thank you Arigatou gozaimaz
Nice video Very clear and at the end a very cleaned mod. Thx.
Really helpful as I will get my easycap tomorrow and do the same as yours. Maybe the next challenge is to not using the OTG itself.....
nice idea.

there are android fpv receivers, only your tablet needs to have UVC drivers, my tablet doesn't and I am stuck with the Eachine OTG UVC receiver....
Nice! I will make one of those.
perfect thanks. going to do that shortly

lol u just need to burn the paint "little wires", for the paint to come off and be able to solder them easily.
OTG - on the go? Does my cell phone (samsung S4 mini) need this feature to work with EasyCAP?
