I was jumping up and down and squealing a good thirty minutes after I saw the trailer. Even now when I think of even a **frame** I get giddy. I have SUCH high hopes for this movie. It's going to be amazing. I know it is. With the combined powers of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Robotnik, what can possibly go wrong?

I don't think shadow will appear in this, but i do like him and his game (i like edgy games, what can I say?). Maybe in a 4th sonic movie or third. Doubt he'll be in this one since its almost the same plot as the sonic and knuckles game. I do want to know if they'll go into super sonic and knuckles
Tbh I think the only way we will see Shadow is in a post-credit scene and if in the movie we see Metal Sonic (I mean Eggman most likely is gonna have a backup I would think). If there is no Metal Sonic, then tbh I don't expect a post-credit scene with Shadow. Could be wrong but that's what I think 🤷🏼♀️
I see. I meant more like an end cutscene like Tails, or a teaser or Easter egg saying that he was “working on something” or “my grandfather had a project that could be useful”. I made a list of characters that would be most likely to appear next movie as classics before the lesser known but still popular characters such as Silver and Blaze a appear. The most likely characters I thought would appear next movie would be Amy Rose, Shadow the Hedgehog, Metal Sonic, and maaaaaybe Chaos. I see Eggman standing beaten in front of a glass tube, observing Shadow. His eyes are closed and the camera zooms in, either slowly or quickly, and dramatic music plays or don’t play, and his eyes open in chorus with the beat of a drum. Then boom! End of movie. This would be the most likely outcome, I think, but I see your reasoning.
I just think it would be better since he’s a very well rated character, and is thought of as an icon for the series. Since fans live him so much, it would definitely get more sales, 5 year olds modeling themselves after him being “cool” and “edgy” even though he isn’t. I think that they know it’s a good idea to introduce Shadow next, and it would certainly please many fans of the franchise including myself
I have a feeling that chaos is gonna come to this movie, and the part of the trailer where water was coming out of the ground was kind of a reference/hint to that, and so is the big storms and crazy weather. Plus, having chaos in this movie would be a good swegway to introducing shadow in a 3rd movie
This movie is already covering stories of Sonic 2 and 3. I don't think that a 1 and half hour movie will be able to add Chaos also. According to me, This movie should introduce Eggman, Chaos Emeralds, GUN, Tails, Knuckles and Super Sonic. Then the second movie should have Adventure story which introduces Amy, Eggman's E-Series robots, Chaos, The fact that Chaos Emeralds have positive and negative energy. THEN SHOULD COME SHADOW MOVIE. This is because Shadow's story needs all of these stuff introduced first

I got goosebumps when my boy Knuckles caught Sonic. Everyone forgets that he's one of the first to make Sonic hold that L in canon. He's as strong as Sonic is fast.

i honestly feel (for any people who watched Godzilla vs Kong) that knuckles will seem to be the villain but then be betrayed by Eggman then of course they will fight metal sonic together, Eggman (of course) will escape. also i feel in this part 2:17 maybe metal sonic launched at him, it does look like a vibrant blue color (the thing that hit him)
The trailer is perfect and the fact that Coleen voices Tails and Knuckles is a overpowers Sonic without breaking a sweat is the cherry on top . Plus we finally got to see the Master Emerald and Agent Stone return with more latte with steam Austrian goat milk is awesome
This trailer is incredible! I think someone took a page out of Marvel when making this film. I'm not kidding. Everything is so much more EPIC! Sonic's CGI looks better, Knuckles looks absolutely BEAST! I'm more pumped for this movie than I was for the first one! My favorite part of the trailer by far was the scene where Knuckles says, "Who said I needed your power?"

Sonic and Tails adventure Knuckles is a bad ass and a serious threat what feels like the first time since Sonic 3 Jim Carrey continues to look even better and more fitting as Dr. Robotic This is a win
when Dr. Robotnik says "where are my manners" he's wearing an all black version of his flight suit from the first movie. So he goes from "stylized canon" to "Fowler Custom" to "all black OG" huh interesting evolution, I believe my theories are correct and we may get an Archie/SATAM styled Robotnik but with a little AOSTH Robotnik flair from Jim; he's certainly fit to play those versions. No doubt about it and the robot arm with the iconic jumpsuit and cape from Sat-AM would be a nice thing to see for fans new and old
The first movie had to deal with the redesign, a lot of the shots were recorded with their original design in mind. They had to work fast in order to redo the design. But since they got on the right track with the redesign, they were already working with a clear image in their mind

I popped off so hard at this movie trailer. I was so hyped and excited and losing my shit!! First off Sonic being like a hero around different cities or places using his speed to help out is such a cool idea. We've only scene him do that with Eggman before but it's cool him stopping bank robberies and stuff. Not only that but I love how they are keeping it grounded here with Sonic having him on Earth while Eggman comes back home with new machines and stuff. On that note I love how they do resemble bannicks but also the robots of the first movie being a great bridge in between them. Also I lost my shit at the chaos emerald it's so weird seeing it in the movie! I am pretty sure the first one we see is a chaos emerald and that later we see another one that I feel is the master emerald giving off that sky beam like attack into the sky. Also already I love Colleen and Ben's chemistry, they already have such a good feeling to who they are and I am excited to see their friendship shine brightly. Also Knuckles is and I can't believe I am saying this again is so COOL! Like him holding sonic in spin dash form and then pounding him into the ground such a cool shot. I am in love with this movie so far and I am so hyped!
Now that I think about it, its probably the Master Emerald, not only because its bigger, but also a movie doesn't have the runtime to go over all 7 chaos emeralds (unless its a montage)
this is night and day compared to the first sonic movie trailer. they took what they wanted to fix about the first one and improved it tenfold, all the characters look great.
I am PUMPED! Some say it is a chaos emerald, others the master emerald. I do lean to it be a chaos emerald cause imo it seems too small to be the master emerald. I love The Trailer and My Favorite Parts are seeing Tails in The Red Tornado, Dr. Robotnik in his Red Suit and Knuckles was Wonderful so I'm excited for Sonic The Hedgehog 2 in April 8, 2022!❤👍🦔🦊🤩

I popped off so hard at this movie trailer. I was so hyped and excited and losing my shit!! First off Sonic being like a hero around different cities or places using his speed to help out is such a cool idea. We've only scene him do that with Eggman before but it's cool him stopping bank robberies and stuff. Not only that but I love how they are keeping it grounded here with Sonic having him on Earth while Eggman comes back home with new machines and stuff. On that note I love how they do resemble bannicks but also the robots of the first movie being a great bridge in between them. Also I lost my shit at the chaos emerald it's so weird seeing it in the movie! I am pretty sure the first one we see is a chaos emerald and that later we see another one that I feel is the master emerald giving off that sky beam like attack into the sky. Also already I love Colleen and Ben's chemistry, they already have such a good feeling to who they are and I am excited to see their friendship shine brightly. Also Knuckles is and I can't believe I am saying this again is so COOL! Like him holding sonic in spin dash form and then pounding him into the ground such a cool shot. I am in love with this movie so far and I am so hyped!

Some say it is a chaos emerald, others the master emerald. I do lean to it be a chaos emerald cause imo it seems too small to be the master emerald.
Edit: There is also another reason why I think it is a chaos: the actor who plays Agent Stone replied to a post on Twitter of summarizing badly a movie and he did for Sonic 2 and he out "Jems" as one. Granted, it is "gems" with a J but 🤷🏼♀️
