- Your authenticity is incredibly sacred and worthy of being expressed. To be seen and witnessed, fully, as we are, is to embrace the divine within. I've learned that releasing the weight of old stories, societal expectations, and the desire to please others guides me back to the heart of my truest form. These are my field notes on the journey back home to self.
I love you deeply.
Love, Saka

I NEEDED THAT.
whew, you and me both! total game changer 🤍
this video is exactly what i needed. for anyone reading this who is on some sort of healing journey, you're not alone! you are the most kind and beautiful human being on this world
🤍 You are an embodiment of love! Healing in togetherness
-meet inner child
-see yourself without judgement
-see if you’re holding on to any stories that are not your own
-listen to your body and body’s intuition
-no second guessing
-ask yourself questions
"I feel the most love by my self"🗣️🗣️
🤍🤍🤍 no one can love you better
I sometimes question why I crave deep connection and why sexual tension is my go to rather than truly understanding a person and connecting with them for friendship. Then I realized I didn’t allow myself true friendship because I had nothing else to offer because I didn’t believe enough in myself to be interesting. Do I even find myself interesting is the true question and why seek validation from the people around me when I can feel that for me.
omg i feel this so heavily

“I am. Right now. That is enough.” LOVE THIS

Love this video ❤ I’m on the journey to embodying my authentic self as well. I used to feel scared being in solitude and now I feel the most at home in solitude and the most love for myself. I find it hard to balance finding that time to connect with myself in a relationship. 😅 it’s only when one of us is traveling that I feel like I can fully come home to myself and just be me. I have a fear of being seen & at the same time I like attention 😂 I’m working on letting my partner see all of my different parts. I'm going through something like this now and I didn't even know it until I found this video and it planted a seed in my brain. I realized that I am almost completely unable to give my thoughts on something before I know if I'm "correct" or in agreeance with the views of my respected family or friends on the topic who would validate my perceived "correctness". I always want to be right SO badly.
My one question is about when you discussed your desire to be honest without filters, second-guessing or people pleasing, I feel that doing this might make me unintelligent and selfish? I feel that if one were to act in this way, they would be making statements without thinking about whether they're truly valid or not and can come off as thoughtless, uninformed, or blatantly incorrect, maybe even selfish in times, only looking through their own, probably narrow, lens. I'm probably misinterpreting what you're talking about because I am SO stuck in my needing-validation stage.
Edit: I also feel that perhaps a one true self might be a fallacy and we exist in many realms depending on the situation. Maybe we have many sides of our true self that cant always be expressed all at the same time depending on the person/situation. When you discuss "dimming your light" maybe you shouldn't be too hard on yourself, we can't expect our coworkers to see the same side of us as our close friends and I think its harsh to critique ourselves too hard on that. Now that I type that out, I do reminisce on all the unfulfilled experiences I've had and exhaustion from feeling inauthentic in workspaces. Not sure exactly how I feel on that front (we're workin on it! lol)
Hi! Thank you so much for sharing this with me and I'm so honored that my video could plant a seed for you. I completely understand your concerns about wanting to feel validated, I feel it's a natural human inclination to seek approval/alignment with our social circles and expressing yourself honestly, without the need for external validation, can def feel daunting.
When I talk about being honest without filters, second-guessing, or people-pleasing, I don't mean to imply acting without thought or consideration but rather finding a balance between having the courage to express your thoughts/feelings authentically, while also remaining respectful and mindful of how they might impact others. Not being selfish or uninformed but being genuine and developing the ability to trust yourself and your intuition.
I agree with you that we are multifaceted beings who express different parts of ourselves in various contexts! It's normal (and often necessary) to adapt to our surroundings and the people we interact with. However, I believe there's a difference between adapting and feeling compelled to dim your light or suppress your true nature. The key is to find ways to honor your authenticity even in environments that might feel restrictive.
You’re doing amazing work by being introspective and open to growth. I hope you keep exploring, questioning, and being kind to yourself along the way. Sending you lots of light and love on your journey!
Sounds easy when you say it.
I have similar feelings about truly finding myself without any limitations but still finding it difficult to get out of my bubble. I understand that this is all a learning experience and I have to have patience with myself. Thank you for sharing your story !!

This is such a good question - I had to begin with remembering her and I spent a lot of time in therapy practicing this but you can do this on your own as well. Sitting with yourself and going back as early in your life as you can and walking with her through her experiences. Once I felt close to her again, I was able to open up a conversation with myself which now involved the present version of me and my younger self.
