    formatted both the micro SD cards and the SD transfer card on my cell-links. Upgraded the firmware per the directions. Both cell links stopped sending photos after 3 days. Very disappointed in this product.

      Check that there is no red cross over the sd card symbol on the camera display IF its available on your camera.
      Only just noticed the Spypoint app now show a cellular icon , make sure its there when closing the camera cover.
      From my experience the sd card pull from its slot very tiny bit causing a comms error between camera and the Cell-link device.

    I will add, even if you show an up to date firmware, reload it. My camera wouldn't upload to the server. It was operating for 10 months and stopped uploading shortly after I updated the software. The tech I worked with on chat never told me to re-update the camera and was ready to toss it in the trash when I received an email from a tier 2 tech suggesting I try to reload the software. This fixed it and I am again enjoying my game camera.

    I have four micros and a dark. One micro works and the dark was working but isn't in the field now. The bad cams aren't sending pics. Advice was update firmware, only the one camera took the update. Advice then was do the slow format, have done that five times with three different sd cards and no update has taken. The cameras just turn on normally.

    Signal status bars should go red if it goes below 3 bars instead of green all the time red means stop at intersections when driving .not stopping at intersections may cause problems also .

    As per the recommendation of this video. I updated the latest firmware on the new 32GB Class 10 SD which came out 10-06-20 and tested it out to see it was working. The Signal showed 100% and charged the Lithium Battery pack for 24 hours. It sent photos to my app. I transported the camera and strapped it to the tree. The signal showed 90%. The communication time was evident it was working. No pictures sent?
    I went on chat yesterday and was informed to wait 24 hours. I guess this is the protocol that the Spypoint reps are doing now. It’s only a few days that I owned this camera. I will return it for a refund at the store if this camera doesn’t work after reaching out to Spypoint for assistance.

    Mine has been in field for 2 in a half months working fine changed batteries an no more pics sent going to take home an try up date enjoy getting pics from field but this sucks i had 2 1st 1 did same thing returned an got a muddy manifest works great wish i had taken both back wasted money

    I had the 5 cameras working then all of the sudden one of my micros stopped transmitting while in the field and 2 evos stopped working after turning them off to relocate. now one evo is working after firmware update and im being told by spypoint my other two are junk need to replace...what the heck

    Something is going on with Spypoint. I have 24 cameras and have had to return 3 this year. They all worked fine last year but now they either don't work or I get the pictures hours later. Are they working on 3G and aren't doing well on the new system?

    One of my cameras stopped working after a year. I tried all of steps the tech suggested. Sadly, he told me it was bad and I needed to buy a new camera. Any suggestions for me to try before I throw this camera. I do love your cameras. I have four total now. This is the only problem I've had. Thanks in advance for your help.

    All I did was move the camera 10 ft. New betters 75% signal SD card is fine. 40 out of 1000 pictures used. 18 days left on plan camera is new and updated. Was working fine.

    Well, I'm using 8 Microlink LTE. All 7 are working properly. But the 8th is a pain in the a**. Initialized with 12v DC. Took some photos - everything ok. Now with batteries the camera starting up with a red blinking LED (poor batteries or wrong power source). Camera doesn't connect to the mobile network anymore, but still taking pics (saving them on die microSD card). Made a firmware update to be sure that there's not a software problem. firmware update worked fine, but still camera doesn't connect. Of course I formatted the sd-card etc. the full stuff, that the FAQs are talking about.
    I tried new fresh batteries but the LED is still blinking red. But I cannot switch through the power source, because the camera is offline. Now what to do?

    The only times I've had problems is when a firmware update has come out. This last time when I tried to install the update camera basically shut down and would not power back up. I will have to say that when I called the support number, "Michael" who went through some troubleshooting with me was trying everything but camera just wouldn't power back up. I've had great customer service, spypoint is sending out a new camera.

    Viewing the videos on TH-cam you need to include all links in the info section. Not just point to a link that doesn't appear.

    Batteries hit 20%. camera stopped sending pics but kept taking pics. Make sure you switch both sides of the battery compartment. Mine takes 4 AA on a side.

      Hi, Tom. Thank you for sharing the feedback. When the battery drops down to under 50%, it is possible the camera will stop sending photos in order to save energy. However, in this case, the camera will continue taking photos and store them in the memory card. -SW

    I have the basic plan and they show 0 days left and it still shows 150/250 photos is it supposed to reset to 0 if it says 0 days left not sure how the basic plan works

    Man, I getting frustrated. I have a Spypoint camera. Everything works but I can not get it to show send pictures. It has worked for 3 years. I have done EVERYTHING suggested and also talked to support. So I deleted it our of the app and now I can't even see it to add it back. I got NO communication so how do I add it back? It's like it Never talked to the server anymore. Do I need a New SIM card? I found it on the camera while trying to fix this dang camera.

    Brand new batteries and new 12 v with a solar panel and mine isnt working anymore it worked for 27 days and now it wont. Took money out for the plan but says zero battery

    i tried to get help 4 or 5 time it took almost 2 hours on the last chat and still nothing and paid for 2 months of photos and received no photos and no offer of refund no phone calls back they try to do everything on a chat or email and then you get cut off and you have to start all over with anther person and all the info is in there data base but they make you give it again and again it seem they did not think this out and are just after the money or some one would call and try to resolved the issues instead of hide behind the commputer.

    I have 4 new lm2 cameras and 3 have randomly stopped communication after just a few weeks. I have watched every video on youtube and trued everything and they still dont communicate. I just want mu cameras to work.

    I have 3 and will soon add a 4th Link-Micro-LTE. I have 2 phones. One older Samsung Galaxy S7 w/o a data plan. Used strictly for WiFi-related matters. Photos always arrive nd mostly in a timely manner (< 6-8 minutes). The other is a newly activated iPhone 12 mini. Perhaps 20-30% of the time, either the photos arrive hours later or not all. I can retrieve them if I kill the app. Not just close and open the app. It needs to stop running. I have open line-of-sight to the nearest cell tower (AT&T) which is approximately 1/4 mile from my house to the antennas. Have considered deleting / reinstalling the app.
    I use the cameras in my large yard to control armadillos. That's their sole mission. Sometimes I'm awakened 2-3 times nightly. Most of the time the photo taken to receiving the photo ranges from 3-10 minutes. More than not, I can gather myself, gun, light and go do the deed. Prior to the cameras, I was limited to staying up many, many nights til 2am or so, going out every 30 minutes, basically, going on patrol. I can no longer hang with that. Cameras have served me well. Greatly appreciate what you do but this situation is a bit of a pain. I prefer to use a single phone for comms and 'dillos. Thank you.
    EDIT: Was hoping to delete the app from my iPhone and begin anew, short of redoing the app settings. It appears when you rid yourself of an iPhone app, it merely takes a break in the "iCloud". Reportedly, the app can then be "deleted" from the cloud, in the traditional sense of deleting things in life. It reminded me of my justified loathing of Apple. Have never seen a company literally own people the way they do.
    Reinstalled the app preceded by a phone reboot. Perhaps a coincidence though it doesn't matter, however, at 11:41pm local, received an alert/pic of what appeared to be an armadillo. It had moved approx 20 meters. Lit it up followed by the kill. Hopefully, no more comms problems. SPYPOINT has been a God-send for me. Thank you.

    All four of my active cell links quit transmitting on August 27th. Chatted with Help on line. They told me I need to relocate my cameras. About to relocate them to the trash can. WTH.

    Or buy a Tactacam! set up in the field. I have a Spypoint solar. sent 4 pictures so far. No matter what I do it does send them. Or call tech support and to the exact same check which last around 90 minutes with no answers. 2 tactacam and 2 stealth. only trail cameras to buy

      I have owned my spypoint link micro for exactly 29 days and it has suddenly stopped sending pictures which is exactly why I am here.. Hoping recharging the battery and clearing out SD card will help... ?

      Ho Realgrower, this would seem to be an issue with a possible backlog. Make sure to format the SD card of the unit (in FAT32 with the long format) and make sure the unit is updated. If the issue persist don't hesitate to contact our agents for further procedures. Kind regards, -BV

Please make sure that your camera has enough power since they will stop transmitting photos when the battery reaches around 30% in order to save on power. The camera will continue to take pictures and will store them on the SD card. To resolve this issue please change the batteries. We recommend Lithium batteries or alkaline batteries from a reputable brand. Do not use rechargeable batteries [Ni-MH] unless it is the rechargeable battery pack from SPYPOINT and do not mix used and new batteries together as it could cause damage. if the issue persists regardless, please contact us at www.spypoint.com/en/chat (8:30 am/5 pm EST).       I have the same problem now, it is communicating with the app, but it is not sending pictures. It is eating my batteries now too. I’m very disappointed in SPYPOINT.

      @@Spypoint won’t update nor will send pics unless you hunt in the city , it’s terrible and defeats the purpose of having a camera in the woods. My 30$ cheap Walmart camera takes better pics , you think paying 200$ plus plan you would get good pics and nope it’s small and waste of money , I wouldn’t tell my best friend enemy to buy it , straight bs and had this for 5$ on top buying a plan , rip off

    Bought the Cell-link, did the firmware update, did unzipped the firmware files and load is on a camera formatted sd card.
    After the fw update , got a whole bunch of pictures.
    Close the app, re open it ALL THE PICTURES GONE!!!!!!!!!
    PROBLEM IS THE APP.
    FIX IT!

      I want to talk to an engineer. Somebody with real technical knowledge.
      After spending many hour troubleshooting I may have found the REAL problem with this Cell-link.
      The sd card break connection with the camera when the camera covers are closed pulling the Cell-link sd card from its position causing a communication error.
      After fixing that problem only now I received pictures from the Cell-link and it stray available in the Spypoint app.

    I've had Spypoint cameras for years, by far the least reliable camera in my arsenal! Horrible customer service, sub par quality it's ridiculous!

      @@Spypoint That's always the typical reply. Try getting through on the chat option, good luck. If you have a record of my last chat, I'm asking you to respectfully review it and you'll see what a joke your staff was! Twice I had to ask the person if we were still chatting because of the lapses in time. I was told to download firmware that was out of date, by a year, than what I told them I had just downloaded from the spypoint website!
      I've never seen a chat with a company where you didn't have an option to obtain a transcript of what was discussed during the chat, well I found one now.
      Quality not quantity fellas, that's going to be your spypoint business downfall, people are sick of spending hard earned money on junk!

      @@Wayne3259 I couldn't agree more. After owning these for a few years, I've had more trouble than success. I paid a lot of money for these and do expect a lot more reliability. The selling point is so you don't need to go into the woods and disturb the hunting area but it seems that's just marketing BS given the issues with these cameras, my experience has been that you will make many trips to the hunting area to fix your Spypoint.

    My camera will take one picture and then you gotta shut it off and turn it back on and then It will take another picture and you gotta keep on doing that for it to take pictures

    You have a lot of videos on here but nothing that helps with my camera problems. Also I cant get any help from support as I've tried live chat and no response from Spypoint and I'm stuck on hold for 20 minutes now with Spypoint on the phone. Your customer support really sucks.

    I have 4 micro cameras. 3 of them took a dump 9n me right before Hunting season. They suck down the batteries when they do work. Was told to update firmware.. I did.. They still don't work. And yes I used the right SD cards, fresh extremely expensive lithium batteries! Did the long formatting on the new SD cards before putting the updated firmware.. 1 camera still won't accept the new update.. So reformatted and downloaded firmware update again.. Still wouldn't ascept it. The other 2 cameras too 1 picture that posted and do nothing at all now. Full movement in front of them and nothing. I'm so mad.. This has probably cost us our hunting season. Do not buy! Look at all these negative reviews!

    So anyone else see good reviews but have shitty product ? Someone is beefing it up more then it needs to be , any suggestions in good cellular cameras ? Tired of driving 2 hr to turn it off and on to work for half a day.

    Avoid this product!! Did everything properly. Took a few pics otw to the land successfully. 2 days later 3 pictures from setup appeared and disappeared from app. No pictures of 100lbs of corn in a heavy trafficked thicket. Camera had 100% signal for first day and 25% since then... torn between disturbing the woods 4 days before season opens or just leaving this garage camera out there

    I've used a lot of cell cameras and I can absolutely say Spypoint by far is the worst and least reliable. Simply awful.

    First fire whomever created your website.Have somebody who knows what features hunters want and have them QA the program (offering suggestions) before you foster this junk on the public. I refuse to spend 8 hours using all your "HELP" and videos. What part about your product is not worth the grief, anguish and aggravation it creates? Sorry, but I'd rather do anything else than try to hunt for an answer on your website.....and get some support that actually does its job. FIX the damn product!

    This camera company is straight trash the customer service are from another freaking country and they always act like it’s a user error when in fact SPYPOINT is just a trash money hungry company. Same response from customer service everytime after you’ve been on hold for 45 min is change batteries take everything out replace we’ll talk to you in 2 weeks

      @@Spypoint my spypoint stopped sending me pictures. I took it out of the tree, brought it back home and turned it off then back on. Over one hundred pictures finally uploaded. Battery was more than 75 percent. SD card has plenty of space on it. I know a handful of people who say their spypoints fail them. Junk.

    I received a SPYPOINT camera for a gift I have been trying to use it for this season and have had nothing but issues. Did all the formatting and updates need spoke with SPYYPOINT they said they would send a new one out and never received anything and they are impossible to get a hold of. I would not recommend to by anything from this company. I would say they have the worst costumer service and they do not stand behind the product they make.
