Happy New Year. My challenge is that you're too fast and I fail to differentiate the new and old lines probably try to demonstrate using two colors.
Happy new year! That's a very fair comment and I'm actually using two colours nowadays, this is quite an old video. Thank you!
I’m confused. Why is the facing (middle piece) smaller than the outer?
It’s to give extra room. So the bottom and side should be the same length, but the angles are slightly different. It creates a bit of extra access ease. You don’t have to do it, it’s a personal preference
How spectacular! That is the pattern I am working on for Spring! Love this!
I’ve just seen your message, what a coincidence!
Love this! Do you have any advice on how to assemble the 2nd version you showed?
Hi Jessica, glad you liked it. I had to think about it for a second as I haven’t made this for two years, but as I remembered I stitched the pocket bag to the facing first, then stitched the top and bottom. Finally I caught all the sites into my panel seam. hope it works for you
Left handed people tend to be more creative! My dad used both hands.
Amazing about your dad! Definitely lots of left handed people in the arts
ahh thank you been waiting for ages for this so excited to try it out
You’re very welcome! I’d love to see your skirt when it’s finished if you’re happy to.
Brilliant, thank you
You’re very welcome
