    Here's a circle skirt where you can add pockets as well! - th-cam.com/video/AdqrXFg1cJ0/w-d-xo.html

    I'm going to make sure I save this because every time I sew in these pockets I have to look it up.

    These are the best and clearest pocket instructions I've ever seen. I've tried a few garments with side pockets and ended up taking them out because they don't fall right, or make the skirt poke out weirdly. Definitely giving this a go as I love pockets!

    • @ThoughtfulCreativity
      @ThoughtfulCreativity  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sarah, I am super glad to hear this! I hope that now the pockets will turn out for you every time :) One quick thing - because our cellphones nowadays are so heavy, I rarely put pockets in my skirts that are a) made from lightweight material or b) have elastic waist. The weight of the cellphone just yanks the whole structure down.

    I love pockets I even use them instead of side zippers on pants and skirt. I add to the top so it is sewn into the waist band or waist of a dress. This stabilize the pocket and stay in place. Thank you for a great video Canada

      Hello, hello :) I think I got it at Joann's and it was quite a few years back...so they probably don't have it anymore, but try FabricMartFabrics. I get a lot of fabrics from them and they have a nice selection or viscose, which will give you that drape and usually comes in a variety of beautiful prints!
