It seems that the lessons are never really learned unless God Himself opens our eyes spiritually. Underrated by the way, I too was jamming to this in the year of the Matrix :)

they are talented rappers then they are gospel rappers and then they are GRITS....grammatical revolution in the spirit is what their acrnym stands for...they are supposed to represent death coming to take souls of each and everyone of us when our earthly time is up. Their chorus depicts our not wasting time on the trivial things that do not save the soul of man with regards to the pride of life for they all fall down. Please keep my wife in your prayers. She has myotonic muscular dystrophy. Her mobility and ability to walk has regressed over the past few years. Doctors cannot heal or cure her, but I know God can and will. Please make this a daily prayer request for her. It is hard, some days, to stay positive and to not worry about her situation. I watched a man dying of dengue fever last night. The monitor showed his vitals dropping rapidly. He was non-responsive. Then his eyes changed to blank and glassy, and he flatlined. A week ago it was just life as usual for him. He had no idea what was coming. I'm living in an epidemic zone; I see the truth of this song daily; I see them all fall down. We really should give a bit more thought to how we live and what's on the other side.

I didn't take the non-musician route, but i agree with you. i think if God gave you talent and you use it to benefit his kingdom then you are giving him praise.
