A bone of contention not specific to the title of the vid but to the last 10+min of it (but not wholly unrelated to the current post-reality/truth/fact political moment). While the two party system is a real problem for some of the reasons mentioned, this convo pretends as if there were no alternatives available to the American ppl on the choice it made to invade Iraq. An election was contested during which Kerry opposed Bush’s position. Hans Blix reported there were no WMDs. Your allies & the UN in general supported Desert Storm but opposed the invasion. The American ppl basically gave the finger to their allies, ignored SA cuz confronting that issue would mean they couldn’t afford the gas for their Hummer anymore, boycotted french fries, & proceeded w/ the “coalition of the willing”. Then when dissatisfied w/ the outcome turn to pointing fingers at the “deep state”. Similarly, the now long forgotten cosmetics applied to the “single worst trade deal ever” which was Republican/right wing in its inception & had elections contested over it in which the left that opposed it in all member countries, lost & left wing protests @ G7 & WTO meetings were ignored & riled against. The media commenting on the “deep state” is also highly problematic as their complicity is required in order to sell whatever supposed latest conspiracy it’s trying to peddle. But ultimately it’s the American public that keeps buying what’s being sold. Refusal to do some honest soul searching & take responsibility for its choices is an ongoing problem for the US populace.

@@X2LR8 He was wearing a Demolition Ranch shirt. Please don't clutter up this thread with nonsensical lies that can easily be debunked in real-time. He was a right winger with Trump signs all over his lawn. Deal with why Trump's own people want him dead.
@@Kteeee Glad you agree. Trump is hated by everybody. Let that sink in.
Think about it- plausible deniability- black rock comercial- makes “republican” donation- then supports the democrats. Think
What kind of creep steals a quote and doesn’t cite the guy until he asked about it.
a vice video with shane smith on it what universe are we in
The very fact that we are hearing nothing about it from the government or media shows this was what people wanted to happen.
When I see this title I think cholesterol and because of McDonald's
Wow Brandon. One of my favorite theories is what if all that happened was Trump held up a squib to his ear, was never cut at all, and no bullet ever got near him? I have no idea if that is true or not, but there's that.
Is this Vice News? Or Conspiracy Central? -- "Conspiracy theories are ridiculous, and we're going to prove it by telling you OUR conspiracy theories." -- I can't believe any of these guys 100%. The sniper gave us some facts from his expertise.. and then sprinkled it with his conspiracy beliefs. -- Sheeesh.
I have no respect for shane...
I’m sorry this doesn’t fit your comfortable mean man narrative 😢 it’s almost like there are facts that completely misalign the delusion that you are living in and this is an unbiased piece of journalism that is simply interviewing experts on the subject?
vice is so inconsistent. This is absolute garbage.
Inconsistent how? This video doesn't have skateboarding?
Lmao get emmm
@@MKotnisLol
My question is why tf did that dude miss?
You are truly a sad person. Normal people don't wish this on anyone, regardless of their party affiliation.
Just put the fries in the bag bro
I was sad when I heard about Bin Laden, I will not be sad if and when Trump bites it as he's way more dangerous than Bin Laden
god intervened
He was just a random kid with no military experience.
He’s a performer, gotta get that good camera shot.
This is one of the few questions you could make an episode about that I don't give af about at all...
I think Vice is just Shane Smith’s TH-cam channel now.
I definitely unsubscribe, shame on you.
Missing a 20 cm target by 4 mm?
The same Secret Service who couldn't spot a man on a roof, suddenly spots a 1 cm barrel sticking out of a bush at 500m?
Clearly time travelers forgetting the "timeline protection" clause.
Yaw left out the fact both shooters where republucan....and has anybody attempted to interveiw the gunman whos still alive?
Man, do you guys remember back when Vice was still goid? It's super sad seeing how they've declined
Sorry shane, you tried hard but this documentary was a nothing burger lol. Your guests spoke about Kennedy Martin Luther King and all the other, except Trump
LOL that question mark give me a lot of Spinal Tap's Stonehenge vibes.
I think it's all Trumped up.
It's hard to take this seriously when you're interviewing lunatics.
It's was staged....
The question of "why" doesn't even need to be asked.
missed you, shane smith!
Trumps biggest success was being a reality tv host? I wouldn't b surprised if his campaign consisted of nothing but reality tv producers, writers, and directors
i like vice and i don’t like trump. but this is just went to far. come on guys.😂
MAGA2024
Why would the Swat team assigned to that sector post their team inside the building and not outside? Jesus FOOLS realize REALITY! STOP being STUPID!
I guess this is Vice's right wing pivot given their financial struggles.
Ryan Routh and Thomas Matthew that’s all we had so far.
That is not journalism. There is barely any fact and even less proof. Wth vice. Frim reading comments, Shane seems to be a big deal but i dont have this context.
How can you take an interview seriously when there's a gigantic question mark hanging over the interview?
if you don't have a gigantic question mark hanging over your life then you're not living in reality.
I can
Trump's rhetoric is to blame.
the medias rhetoric you mean.
you're being programmed to see the problem on 1 side and not the other.
Latest conspiracy theory ELON DID IT
Seeing Brandon Herrara on Vice is wild.
"its not a democracy, its a republic"
lmao a republic is a form of democracy cmon bro
No it is not .
The real reason was inceldom
Its not that it was staged, it was the fact that ear injuries take a LONG time to heal. So IF there was a chunk or even a small piece removed it would be CLEAR to see. He did not get hit by a bullet.
Just a thought. Info War Alex was recorded on a podcast not too long ago discussing how to get the civil war ball rolling before next January. May be a rabbit hole worth look.
the ear analysis was poor, the shots they showed would have big chunks of scar tissue left after the ear started healing. There was basically no detailed look at his ear and how it healed and where the damage / blood came from
Shane, been watching since Liberia and the early days of Vice.
Keep fighting the good fight.
Vice became the biggest disappointment in modern media but looks like they’re going back to their roots after the woke snowflakes bankrupted them
Let’s go Brandon? On Herreras Texas for congress page? Of course he’s neutrally accessing this situation
I'm surprised I didn't hear any mention of the connection between both Trump Shooters and BlackRock
They mentioned the deep state so ig that counts or something
"The call is coming from inside the house."
Herrera's reactions to the two different conspiracy theories is so hilarious why was he so lukewarm about the 2nd shooter delusions after spending all that time on the other side
And yet Don *OLD’s* ear somehow miraculously healed
Just insane, to see how far Shane Smith has fallen.
Hes smart. Hes not voting for cackling duck
Trump: "Use the second Amendment on your political opponents!!!"
Trump supporters: "Yeah!!!!"
Trump 5 minutes later: "I have changed my mind and now completely oppose a policy you support."
Trump supporters: "Welp..." *loads guns*
Oh please... They'd be like "oh yeah! We don't like guns now!"
What did they do after the bump stock ban?
@theodorekorehonen lol we lost our bump stocks in boating accidents. Crazy, huh?
Why? it's kind of obvious
The secret service has a long history of gross negligence and misconduct Occam's Razor would suggest that is what happened same with Hanlon's razor.
Disregard the haters Shane, good format for the videos
Assumption rabbit hole is all that needed to be said.
