‘We are all different. Just compare yourself to you’. So right.

Moving forward a day at a time. These videos are very helpful to compare me to me. Thanks for watching!

Yes sir. If you go to bed better than you woke up, you're winning.

Jarred, I just caught this video. I was struck by a van 15 years ago while helping a friend's brother fix a dirtbike we were riding on that broke down. I praise you Bubba thank you.

This is some great advice. "Compare yourself to yourself", that is exactly right! Great video, I find it, and your whole journey so far, very inspiring, thanks.

You keep improving all the time! Week to week may be harder to tell but definitely when you start looking at it over months. I love what you said about not comparing to others just doing your best and improving yourself. You are incredible :)

I commend you for your commitment to Rehab. Great job! You have come along way. As a therapist I can tell what it’s taken for you to get this for many many many hours I would encourage you to limit your risk taking because if you sprain an ankle, you will be set back for weeks, have you tried using weights on your ankles to provide more stability. With a toxic movements, the slower you go the more control you will have so awaited vest weights on leg weights on arms can often help the balance. Remember you’re trying to retrain the brain for quality of movement The fast you go the less control you will show and the slower you go the more control you’ll have and the better long-term outcomes you will show. Keep up the good work.🥳🥳

Thank you! I definitely value safety a lot more now. I’ll get where I’m going eventually. No reason to rush!

I hear ya. I’ve found a cane is certainly better than the walker when it’s safe to use

    Could you walk now?

Still working on it. I walk unassisted every time I have therapy but honestly using the cane is preferable for me when I’m out because it’s a signal to people to be patient with me. Walking unassisted was a big deal when my injury first happened and I am still sure it’s in my future (I’ve started occasionally having “normal” steps where I just go without thinking about it) but it’s not a huge rush now
