Brian he's actually been flying at Edelweiss for a while so pretty much doing the same, same type of plane, same city but enjoying some great destinations around the world with longer stays too.

Great video. Unfortunately, my only time flying into San Francisco (in May 2018) was directly in from the SW (over the Pacific from Sydney), landing on 28L also. As such, I didn’t get your magnificent views of the bridge or the downtown area, just a long and relatively boring trip up the bay, so thanks for posting. Maybe next time.
It always amazes me how smooth these landing are after the pilot has been sitting in the same area for 12 hours. I know their trained to have a good level of concentration, but dane, he was so calm and collected after what was probably a long stressful flight.
Those bikes are dangerous when you walk over the bridge, take care as the speed they travel along it is ridiculous, as usual cyclists think everything should be for them and anyone walking shouldn’t be there.
Great video! I have family in the area so fly into SFO often, and the final approach is always amazing to me! One question though. On one airline, they used to give you the option to listen to ATC control (channel at the time was called live from the flight deck), and have a question regarding this. Approaching the area, the controller advised the pilots something like “Advise when you have the field and bridge in sight.” I assume the field is the airport, and the bridge is the Golden Gate Bridge?
