New Vegas is awesome, but personally the main story is uninteresting and the dlc story is way better, with that being said base fallout 4 is my favorite fallout
12:18 Attacking the Thorn? That's a paddlin'. Amazing work, Jazzy Jr. FNV was and still is a masterpiece. The fact it hasn't had a remaster is still one of gaming's mysteries. Personally, I've beat it through three times, one on Vanilla, and 2 with Ultimate Edition. Might do it again soon. Maybe a Melee build this time... But of course, the full experience of FNV awaits... Shouldn't be all that hard as I recall; all the DLC achievements are just the casual playthrough.
As a speedrunner; It blows my mind that you chose to do the “grindiest” achievements on your hardcore run. Would have made more sense to make your fastest run the hardcore one.
Great video mate! Always love seeing anything New Vegas related. Can't wait to go back through it myself and earn all the achievements again. Also looking forward to part 2 with the DLC :)
I have compleated the whole of new vegas back in the ps3 days. I still remember the biggest failure I could do back then. while using the Torn to farm the damages, I went there with explosives!
Lol I remember 100 percenting both this and fallout 3 back in high school on the xbox360. I love when you play games back from this era it’s just nostalgia overload 😊
You can actually break the bank on a 1-luck character. Just start a roulette game, place it all on zero and reload if you fail. You'll get it eventually.
I've probably consumed thousands of hours of New Vegas content, from playing it myself and to watching fine people like you play it. And in all my hours, I've literally only ever seen Oliver Swanick not get shot in the face only like 3 times. 1 was my first playthrough and I never made the same mistake of not shooting him ever again. Is there some kind of psychic link every New Vegas player has that tells them to kill him?
I am pretty sure Yes Man will never hate the player, LOL I might be wrong, and maybe someone already pointed this out? But pretty sure he is a fail-safe of sorts. If you manage to piss off the other three factions before getting far enough in the main story. Then the Wild Card route gives you a means of still finishing the story, so you do not make the main quest line impossible to finish.
This reminds me that I need to polish this game off...I'm still missing 20 achievements between the base game and the DLC. Anyway, loved seeing you grind it out and look forward to the DLC video.
NV was the satisfying game I’ve ever got all achievements for. Granted I only have a handful of games like I’ve gotten all achievements for including fallout 4 but this is definitely my favorite one I’ve done
I really wished the legion wasn’t shafted so hard with the cut content hopefully whenever we do get a fallout nv remastered the legion will have been expanded upon more
Going for the Caravan trophy made me actually really appreciate the game... and I may or may not have forced an irl friend to learn it to play irl lmao
Howdy partner! I'm making fish wraps for tomorrow, I'm glad to see you're going into New Vegas, I've never really seen a playthrough proper of this game, only challenges from Mitten Squad
This games hardcore mode was super trivial. Never really found myself out of resources of whatever, plus I could still fast travel pretty far distances.
I loved this game when i decided to get all of the Fallout game achievements a few years ago. I still do and find myself playing the game every now and then too. Just been putting off Fallout 76 as i'm stuck on the last four. All the best of luck with that one :D
I think Boone's little quest to get revenge for his wife is what made me fall in love with this game. Another great video Jazzys Child! Can't wait for the DLCs hopefully!
“Expect the dlc vid to be covered within a month” he said…8 fricken months ago! Like cmon, New Vegas has the best DLCs of any game ever, well, 3 of them are anyway, and we REALLY wanna see those, so hurry up already!!
the hardcore mode achievement is glitched btw, cause i got the achievement when i was just doing a regular old playthrough for some reason. also with the healing with food im pretty sure it still counts as healing when you are at full health so you coulda just ate like 100 steaks and then waited.
You aren't done yet, the DLC for New Vegas has more achievements and this includes the Gun Runners Arsenal challenges, and mostly completing all the DLC. So yeah you've still got around 20 achievements left.
These achievements are… special I had to use a glitch to get the food healing achievement because it would have been me just standing there eating Brahmin steak for 5 hours but in general the achievements were pretty fun For the gun runner achievements I abused a perk that gave you a weaker version of turbo and a silenced pistol to kill a bunch of deathjaws Overall it’s a prettt good run
Absolutely one of the best games of the series, and definitely worth noting that it was developed by a lot of the old Fallout devs rather than Bethesda... hopefully an upside of Micrisoft now owning all parties involved we can see another similar game, or even just a remaster that actually runs properly on modern systems. Look forward to seeing the DLCs as they are an absolutely *WILD* ride... and yeah not surprised Dead Money is giving you issues, it's always been the buggiest of the DLC as it really pushed the limitations of the engine. And now it's that time for me to once again massively recommend Nier Automata; interesting characters, great combat, amazing music, and some rather quirky achievements.
Great Video but one qiestion. Doesnt the ciber dog rex count for the companion achievement? And arent there 3 achievements where u have to do misc Tasks like kill Benny with his gun?
New Vegas has something that other fallouts struggle with. And its gameplay to character creation relation. When you have speech or medicine skills. It literally shapes the way you interact with people. Things you do in the Mojave have true impact on the dialogue and npc interactions.. it’s just a really diverse game that was made in I think around 8 months 🤔 so it’s truly a masterpiece.
New Vegas has both my favorite and most hated DLCs. I LOVE Old World Blues and the big MT and hate dead money and the Sierra Madre with at least 11 kilonazis of hate.
I still don't understand how so many ppl struggle with caravan, not as in they don't really want to play it like you did, which is fair enough, but outright claim it's too complicated or impossible to learn Ringo literally gives you a holotape with all the rules and since it's in a videogame it's not like you have to consider if a move is legal or not, if it's not permitted the game just won't allow you to make it just read the rules with your human eyes and trial-and-error any "ok but can I do [this]?" questions you might have against ringo, this ain't repconn rocket science
9:15 What I *think* happened here is that you sold 10k caps worth of items, but only got 8k caps because things aren’t actually sold for their listed value. Ok nevermind, it’s just New Vegas being New Vegas
If you ever get the chance try to complete far cry 3 or 4. They are, in my opinion, the best far cry games! Though Far cry 4 does have some achievements that require co-op.

What's your favourite Fallout game and why is it New Vegas?
New Vegas, because of the overall feel of it. Wonderful game, even better video. :)
Mine is 4, New Vegas feels far too slow but I do like the characters
Yes
Yes Man route my beloved. Love being able to carve out my own little faction instead of being beholden to everyone else's
New Vegas is awesome, but personally the main story is uninteresting and the dlc story is way better, with that being said base fallout 4 is my favorite fallout
Lmao at 5:00. You were glitching out! Haha
Even the video encoder couldn't believe that he was going to side with the legion...
Five nights at Freddie's
The biggest smile on my face when this showed up on my recommended.
One of my top 5 favorite games.
The second that i got the notification i imediatly stopped what i was doing to watch it
This game is so good
Man I just wanna see you do Dead Money's achievements, especially the last three achievements for that DLC
ive seen this game 100% so many times but im still here to watch your commentary. (ya...speed running full chevment is a watch)
12:18 Attacking the Thorn? That's a paddlin'.

Great video man! Great work on it!
Return to sSender is great if you don't want to kill someone for the ranger revolver :O
love the scene where you meet the guy who won the lottery an it quickly cuts away
They have no proof that I didn't win this lottery and no one is stepping forward to claim otherwise soooo....
This game is an masterpiece, the fact also it was my made by the original studio behind fallout 1 and 2 makes it all better.
my favorite part of every jazzy video is the outfit, an absolute cutie! you cooked with this vid, loved it!
22:58 Is that lobster latched on to that poor dude's eye? What an unfortunate turn of events 😢

Wow releasing a new vegas achievement video right as I start up a run to finish off the last few new vegas trophies I have left is some timing
Awesome! Today I platinumed Fallout 3 💪🏻 Now to the 100%, still at 89%
FNV was a game id owned for almost a decade. 4 or 5 playthroughs until last year i finally sat down and 100%ed it. What a hell of a game
I really wished the legion wasn’t shafted so hard with the cut content hopefully whenever we do get a fallout nv remastered the legion will have been expanded upon more

I love the stuff you've been doing with the green screen, its so creative haha. Excellent video man!
I really want him to do all the Yakuza ones. I'm sure some of the side stories will make him laugh or confused. Fun to watch either way!
Currently grinding the next as we speak, hopefully will have that ready for next month!
After the pain that subnautica caused you i see you chose a good one to help you relax lol.

Hey I really enjoyed the video sorry I couldn't be there for the live stream
I just got New Vegas with all of the dlcs for like $8 on steam, and I’m loving it so far.
I think Boone's little quest to get revenge for his wife is what made me fall in love with this game. Another great video Jazzys Child! Can't wait for the DLCs hopefully!

It's Matthew Perry?? Ive been playing New Vegas for years and never knew that!
Yep, Matthew said on Ellen's show how much he loved Fallout 3 so they hired him for Benny!
