absolutely correct on what games call "difficulty curves" these days. tired of games just slapping more hp on enemies and calling it difficulty, it's really not, it's just a boring slog through a large health pool. don't get me wrong I don't know how to fix the issue with this, and actually just recently watched a video essay on difficulty in games, but devs really have to stop just inflating hp pools for "difficulty" as it's just dogshit
I think terraria is one of the best (and worst) examples of how to do difficulty. My memory’s a little rusty but they not only increased enemy stats, but added additional items as drops, added new attack patterns, added new mechanics to the overall game such as enemies running off with coins you dropped on death rather than just having them sit there, many enemies from bosses to the most common zombies were given new ai… then when they released master mode pretty well all they did was bump up health and damage.
@@jakemartinez6894 Agreed entirely, expert mode changes so much about the game that even basic enemies like zombies and jellyfish get changes! (zombies can spawn using one of their arms as a weapon, vastly boosting their attack range and damage, and jellyfish sometimes electrify themselves if in water, making them invincible, boosting their contact damage, and making you take damage if you melee them) Meanwhile master's only non stat changes are cosmetic pets, relics, and 1 more accessory slot
I will say, while I agree with the overall take, I honestly disagree heavily with his assessment of that section. To me, that was by far the most fun combat section of the entire game. It's really only "poorly" balanced if you skip all the side content, as he said he did in the stats. I earned the platinum yesterday on PS5 playing on normal difficulty, but I did all the extra side content I came across, so most of my skill trees had the second perk unlocked, with some being completely maxed out. Doing it that way made that entire mission feel like a fun playground with plenty of enemies to decimate. That felt like the best way to end the game, unfortunately that wasn't the last mission. I agree with Jazzy that the final boss feels glued on, there's no real build up to it.
Just when Wendell was activating the kill switch Robocop in true fashion says smoking kills and I wish jazzy would have let that play through what a great 80s line.
I like to think the framerate drop is just RoboCop's visual receptor system glitching out. I mean, he's not exactly running on the best of graphic card
Jazzy... you had the perfect opportunity... to say that the frame drops... were because of lag on RoboCop's mechanical/electronic parts having to buffer.
You should do Lego City Undercover next! It's such a fun game and I personally took about 70 hours to get every achievement (it surely can be done in way less time, I just was idle at times)
The devs who made this game also made a Terminator game, 'Terminator: Resistance.' Same as this game in that it’s got some performance issues but the atmosphere is perfect. And the achievements aren’t too tough either, so I highly recommend.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good the game was. Its not amazing by any standard, but its competent and does its job. Definitely worth the buy if its on sale
Jazzy I love your content my friend. Are Spider-Man 2 or Mortal Kombat 1 coming anytime soon? I know you needed 1 last achievement and they recently did a Titan.
I love that in a year where Lord of the Rings, the Walking Dead, and King Kong all got horrible games, Robocop had a great game that brought Peter Weller back (unlike the third movie).
This game gives me Fallout vibes. The green text, the gunplay, the camera angles, the dialogue selection system, the upgradeable skill point tree's etc
I'm amazed OCP put the Robocop II frame up in an expo, considering all the bad press it got when it went on a rampage after they put the mind of a drug crazed murderer in it.
I actually wished more shooters would give me the options to just zoom in on the Crosshair to see the target better like this game. Also foto see how bad the spread is to show you that you need to pace your shots to maintain accuracy. Only other game I know does this was Fallout New Vegas.
I really wanted this game to be a banger as my dad got me into robocop as a kid and I have to pick this game up. Amazing that they even got the og actor back to voice the tin can himself
thanks for 18:19 cat saving one, i was struggling because i think cat one is another mission. the mission that goes after gangs unlished, save kid's mother from burning building. in that mission, some dude goes, i'm not living in this burning building until i find my cat. that cat is not required to complete mission so i was like, oh. this one is the achievement. and replay that mission, found the cat but got no achievement and i got confused. sorry for bad english, love from korea.
I'm honestly super surprised a new robocop game exists. Though I seriously have to wonder about thew first glitch that was the justification for the control chip. The motivations are just batshit insane, and seriously how many mercs & people got tossed into the meat grinder because like 3 people where fing clowns and went for the total power play move, without thinking anything out. like .... what? I am glad to see it do so damn well, but those 80's plotholes are just silly. X} Imagine having the ability to literally bring the dead back to some form of digital life.... and wanting to .... mess with a walking android that's gotten legendary status. My mind is boggled about how many resources that one dingle berry threw down the drain to get stuff into place to setup robocop, and the worst part ... I mean..... if the override chip was in his head, wouldn't it had been easier to take the cops out with the chip, since clearly it had That much power overhim.
hi dude... found your channel today mate... much would recommend Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey... if you havent done it yet... by the end of the game the achievements felt fullfilling and not outa reach also doable no time caps sir... some felt like they were there to round out the player experience and well i really enjoyed that game... be well dude...
Equinsu Ocha lol You're not playing on the highest difficulty setting so I imagine it was a walk in the park, and I wonder how many side objectives you skipped to get down to those 12 hours.
I really want to play this but it being 60 feels a bit much. I got terminator salvation when it was 20 and I will probably do same here. Actually that would be a interesting game to see you plat. (Terminator Resistance i mean)
Jazzy i enjoyed the video and i think you will like to grind the achievements in Dying light 1 and 2 and i can't wait to see what is going to be the next game
@@thesonofjazzy_ One day, after the most popular requests, maybe the Dead Space? (The OG one or remaster, doesnt matter). Fun physics/story for a video, maybe.
8:32 umm, no. That was someone else. Antonowsky was the one who got his neck ripped out by robocop stabbing him with his data knife thing. (Which I'm kind of surprised you can't do in this game.)
Just because a game is new, doesn't mean we should excuse it running poorly. It should be running smoothly from launch and not need patching to actually finish making the game.
What game based on an 80's Classic Action film would you like to see in the future, I'm thinking it's time for The Predator.
Sure I’m in for predator since there’s not enough games for that franchise
Not so much action BUT a game based on The NeverEnding Story would SLAP
I kinda wish they made more games based on 2000 AD
A modern judge dread game would be dope
I think the fifth element would be cool handle as a futuristic gta
I think escape from LA/New York would be an awesome game where playing gun hoe or ninja stealth change the game experience but not the fun
I love that the dev of RoboCop came from being the worst with Rambo to becoming one of the better ones to do license video games
Maybe they can make a Dredd game
@@ArcAngle1117
That would be a good one.
I feel they could make a really good Escape from series
The terminator game is fantastic

This "issue" always had a solution, enemy skill variation and good combat arena design never was a problem in old shooters
Like ironfist said, if you do side content you get upgrades for your pistol and extra perks.

One of the best. 10/10
11:05 never say no to a wild Red Dwarf reference!
I wonder how many caught it

I liked the red dwarf references throughout the video
Soot is literally the Firestarter and I appreciate this...
It is always hilarious to listen to Jazzy come up with a new way to say "built different" 😆
Wow Jazzy! Game came out 3 days ago and you’ve already gotten all the achievements & done a video. Well done!!
its super easy game too paltnium suprisly very little "missable" it was amazing expeirence for sure

I'm so glad someone got that!
Aye gg! I’m currently playing through it! Pretty good so far!
I'm honestly surprised that this is such a rare occasion - people making the game that is essentially interactable movie, worthy of source material.

I like how they brought back the robot from robocop 2, in a way that makes sense without sequel bait, what an awesome game!

If I had to choose one character in that game to save, including Robocop, I’d choose Kitto (the cat) anytime, anywhere, any…Whatever else
Made that name up by the way
What is the explaination for the first glitch were he sees his dead wife? And how could Wendell predict that happens to have such a chip ready to go?
