Buakaw’s record is 241 wins and 24 losses. That’s a 90.9% winning percentage. When you fight that often in kickboxing and muay thai, you’re going to lose a few times along the way. Plus, he got robbed in a few critical decisions that unjustly harmed his legacy. He should have won 2 out of 3 of his fights against Andy Souwer, both fights with Enriko Kehl and all four of his fights against Albert Kraus in my book. He also fought during the golden age of the 154-pound division. The division during this period was perhaps the strongest any kickboxing division has even been in the history of the sport, and Buakaw fought the best of the best repeatedly. You have to consider that as well. This video didn’t cover all of his accomplishments by any stretch. He wasn’t really a huge knockout artist like the video portrays. But he is rightfully considered as one of the greatest kickboxers to ever live. He was phenomenal.
He has a very strong resume filled with all-time great kickboxers and muay thai fighters as well as some very good ones as well such as: Masato Kobayashi, Andy Souwer, Mike Zambidis, Youssef Boughanem, Nieky Holzken, Albert Kraus, Azize Hlali, Yi Long, Vitaly Gurkov, Enriko Kehl, Dzhabar Askerov, Gago Drago, John Wayne Parr, Jean-Charles Skarbowsky, Faldir Chahbari and Yoshihiro Sato.

One thing in this man's early career that first K1 world championship night that this video fails to point out is what really got Buakaw fired up against his Japanese opponent. This guy says the dude "disrespectfully swept him off his feet"... Yeah... but that's not quite all of it. It wasn't just disrespectful, it was illegal. That was illegal move because he went for a second sweep. That bit of rulebreaking is why Buakaw decided right there and then this man was finished and Buakaw changed it up to an approach where his opponent spent more time lying on the floor than standing on his feet. It wasn't pretty, but Buakaw stopped caring, and that's why.

Sato & BuaKaw fight is according to the International BOXING rule with no Elbows, not the Muay Thai or Kun Khmer Rule. Thai fighters and Khmer fighters when an international Boxing Rule being applied to the fight, many of them not acquainting with it . Because we are using constantly Kicking, Push Kicks, Knees, Elbows, side Elbows, spin Elbows, and forward Elbows more then Punching. As you see in the world stage notifiable, the Organizers preferred an international Boxing Rule rather than Muay Thai and Kun Khmer Boxing Rule, exception some specific fights.👍✌

This guy was ot only a deadly striker , he was so classy and so humble out of the ring. You will never see him take a dirty shot . So for a guy this dangerous and talented he was just a all around great person.. this guy is the Mike Tyson in his sport.

Your one of the worst kind of person when it comes to cheering on the man , because as soon as he loses your all over him . Making comments about his abilities.. this guy was the best there ever was at his sport.

He was just playing with his girlfriend, he wasn't really punch her. Buakaw likes to act solemn. but it didn't hurt anyone. It's his joke and some Thai people do that Then we'll laugh.

Lol they literally say his name 100 times and you can’t get it right. And you’re trying to tell him how to fight? This was more comedy than reaction.
