It is interesting to see just how of a different racing style we have. What I noticed driving this car is that when you downshift you are losing time substantially so I tend to go with higher gear. In turn 1 and 2 I am hear up, in turn 3 and 4 I am gear up. Through the chicanes I am gear up. I just did 1.05.8 as i wrote below, but I will try this as you have very nicely navigated the lap and how you approach. It's also funny that I never noticed any marks nor that they are helping me, i am always going and judging by the race track itself and even after watching the video now, trying to apply those marks you have, is only making me slower lol. Nice video, nice edit and nice way to explain it! Keep it up! Thumbs up!
I just started iRacing today, managed to get 1:05:8 on my own, and I think after some practice I'll be able to match your time hopefully...but in the top split there were several guys who got a time of 1:04:9. And I literally have no idea how can they get these times on a fixed setup...
Check out the course, it's the best work I've done so far and a certain way to improve A LOT: gitgudracing.com/simracingcourse/
