Another informative video, thank you. Can you confirm NO wireless Android Auto? (Only wireless apple carplay). If so, this is a poor move by Alpine. Most competitors are offering wireless for BOTH Android and Apple.
Which headunit would support both? (Android Auto and CarPlay via Wifi connection)
If you are looking for wireless carplay and wireless android auto, look for the 509.

Having an issue with apple carplay unable to connect to my ios 15.5 iphone. Only fix I found was to physically unplug the radio from powersource and plug back in but the catch is it only works that one time, so next time i cycle the key it stops working again and throws an unable to connect apple carplay error message. Any idea whats going on here? All help much appreciated, Thanks!

Do these work with factory fitted DAB and FM antennas?, or do they need to be used with the supplied antennas.
can be used with the factory fitted DAB antenna however you may need an adapter to allow it to plug in
