  • Just rode this trail the week prior and had a fairly decent run. Not this time around! Seventh Secret is at the top of Mt. Fromme, North Shore, Vancouver BC.. I'm a bit out of shape at the time of this ride and the climb takes about an hour. It's absolutely worth it, though!
Shout out to ‪@HardtailLife‬ that I met at the start of the video!

Hey Buu, good to see you. That trail seemed pretty rowdy. I would have a lot more than three falls:)

It’s a lot of fun and I did fine the week prior but I think I needed a bit more rest following the climb 😂 hope you’re doing well Charlie!

Remedy is insanely good for upgrades and tweaking
Have been riding my with travel increased to 170 in front (lyrik allows that) and replaced the shock with 62.5mm stroke to get 162mm of travel in the back
I also highly recommend installing reverse angle spacer and ditch the knockblock (if it drives you crazy).
Lately, I've mulleted mine with 160 Yari (upgr 2.1 charger) in front and not going back any time soon :) such a fun bike!

Oh wow, hadn't heard of anyone mulleting it before! You're finding it to be a huge difference? Are you a more advanced rider?

      @@buulam nah, I'd say I'm a beginner
I earlier had a 29 XC bike, so I prefer having the feeling of a 29 fork/wheel in front, it just feels a bit higher and more comfortable for me. Also remedy tends to be a bit twitch with steering, so mulleting it fixes that
The only difference is when you climb very steep stuff, the decreased seat angle makes a difference, but I use it mainly for "get-to-the-spot" and descending, so I'm ok with that.
The easiest way - just ask a friend with a 29 160 wheel/fork to test it for the weekend :)
P.S. Lyrik/36 fox works better, as ZEB/38 is longer by 5 mm axle to crown
