Just bought a Fox Proframe, I haven't even taken it out for a ride yet. We live in southern Utah and have rocks of every shape and size everywhere, I am already ugly enough so I figured a light weight full face would be a smart purchase - hopefully I'll never put it into use for it's purpose. Thank you for the great video, I can sympathize with the shoulder injury, I had mine operated on a few years back - I still am a bit cautious.
Ah yikes, mtb seems to claim a lot of shoulders! Hope the helmet doesn't have to be put to use :)

I have similar experience. Crashed bad on Garbage at Burke. CT scan and hairline fracture to T1. Upgraded to Fox ProFrame. And Leatt neckbrace.
Oh no! Good excuse to grab good safety gear though. I think neck brace is next for me!
I'm thinking about buying a fullface, but i've heard some bad things about this helmet and Fox as a brand in general. I'm not sure who to believe...

I like it but I know people with the TLD Stage that really like it too. Worth checking out as well if you haven't looked at it

My friend just went over the bars and hit her face on a rock :( stitches around her lip and chin :S

Hope you are ok, Buu. I ended up getting Fuel Ex8 over Remedy8 a month ago but that was a tough choice! Now I’m Just getting used to 29’ tyres. I was looking for the same helmet but LBS had none in stock. Did you order’em online? I wants to try some on before deciding even the size.
Fuel Ex8 sounds awesome! I'd be interested in trying 29 one day. My LBS did get some stock on the helmets but for a long time they were very low on stock.
Ouch, hopefully that helmet never gets "tested"

My LBS didn't have any of these in stock in my size, I got a GIRO Switchblade which seems cool, just more spendy which is annoying. Beast mode in the gym, that's a lot of plates
Oh with the removable chin piece? Seems like that’d be handy too
Trying to get beast mode, but losing a few pounds will be good enough too haha
@@buulam Yeah I wish I bought it from the get go, didn't think I would enter any races so got a cheaper trail one... so now I have 3 helmets but switchblade is DH rated and 2 in one.. so 4 helmets plus 2 broken ones😂, yes I am trying to step up the gym lifts, that snatch clean is too scary for me though
@@kicknitoldskool lol that’s a good collection of helmets. I’ve been oly lifting for about 8 or 9 years now. Definitely takes a heck of a lot of practice and I still have so many things that need correction...

Haha the bike got a couple scuffs... I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later but it's too bad I didn't get a ride wrap applied before taking it on the trails. Live and learn!
Hey, it looked like your front wheel snapped to the right, right after you hit the apex of the roller. I think perhaps you crashed because your front wheel landed crooked and threw your bike off balance.
This seems about right!

Sorry, I realize I wasn’t clear on that. That crash happened in December. I’ve been wearing the helmet for a couple months.

what's your hieght and the frame size
I'm about 5'9 and my Remedy is a medium frame
@@buulam my height is 168cm according to trek bike chart i should ride the medium should i go for the small

@@dhiraj_77 I'm 170cm (5 '7) and ride a medium and sometimes wish I had the medium large as this bike feels a bit small compared to other bikes I've owned. I think the medium would be perfect for you and definitely wouldn't recommend the small.
