- A Gravity Falls video during my Owl House phase eh? Anyways... spoilers, even though the show ended 8 years ago
Believe it or not, this is a rage post, a rage post but the video is about good moments
Why is it a rage post? You'll see... or iykyk, maybe check out the Mabel video to find out why
Left out some bonding moments, this is mostly just moments where Stan truly cares about the kids and giving compliments with some occasional funny ones where he's trying to be
"Wait, there are people who hate Sta-" Yes. - บันเทิง
Check out the Mabel one too:

In other words: 11 minutes showing why Stan is my favorite character in Gravity Falls (though I love other aspects of his character, as well)
Same here
Same here
I like how the intro was considered Stan being a good grunkle
Ofc he is ☺️
He brings nothing but smile on my face
I appreciate Stan’s character. He’s someone who didn’t grow up in a loving environment, but despite not knowing how to create that, he ends up achieving it by just being genuine.
@SCpath Tbf Stan never had the intention of ruining everything, anger clouded his judgment a little at that moment, the mistake was not telling the truth to Ford before it was too late to fix it which led to Stan ruining his own life
Also, it's not like that completely ruined Ford's life, he still had a decent future despite not achieving his dream
@SCpath and your point is…?
A new Gravity Falls compilation in 2024. Awesome, nice to see people are still into this great show.
Gravity Falls will *never* die 🙏 not in this timeline
And, as a "Gravity Falls" fan, all you have to do is introduce people to this "Y7/made for all ages" animated series.;)
I recently watched the show again and it is better than I remembered.
I will forever love the show. I’m currently making my parents watch it
"The bus leaves tomorrow, here are your tickets"
"AAAAH-"
Perfection.
"I gotta wear this ankle bracelet now so that'll be fun"
How did they make a character this Iconic
As much as Stan can be an ass at time. He still better on family than this father ever was.
Bill even tells him he’ll give him anything to be set free: Money, Power, his own galaxy (Bill doesn’t keep his word anyway) but Stan chose family.
yep...
how much u wanna bet that his father would've chosen one of Bill's offers?
him being afraid when he first sees his wax statue makes soooo much more sense now
that faint outline of Eda the owl lady when Stan talks about having been divorced once had me rolling on the floor! XD
I still don't understand how there are people who hate him and only see him as an old scammer. But it really is much more than that, that is, he lived the consequences of his actions and still have hope And the fact that your family matters to you
Like the audience or the in-show characters?
@@helloeveryone0 audience
Stan may not be the best man, but he IS sadly a very realistic man for one with his upbringing. You can tell he cares about his family and everything he did was either for them or for Ford. Even a bunch of his less than honorable moves from day 1 that make him seem like a lying, careless jerk, like taking advantage of Dipper’s curiosity and Mabel’s kindness and naivety and scamming people under Ford’s name for decades with the “Mystery Shack” to save Ford’s house and portal were highly justified to bring back Ford or PROTECT the twins.
Loving that people are still into this show 12 years later.
Just proves that shows like these never dies.
Seeing Stan getting bullied as a kid brought me flashbacks to when I was bullied in middle school. Made me sympathize with him more deeply.
A series doesn't end and a show that never dies
6:48 holy crud the transition 👌👌👌
Way too smooth of a transition
I love Stan’s character sm, i wish more people would want to understand his character.
shouldve included the threat to the bus driver. so funny.
8:45 is my favorite scene. How they just nod their head is great
The scenes where he's sending them back home to protect them never fail to shatter my heart into pieces, no matter how many times I've watched this show. He loves having them around but he cares about their safety more. 🥺 We love an unorthodox father figure
Honestly I am so impressed because by making this beautiful video, you have basically proven that Stan doesn't favor Mabel over Dipper and he loves them equally by showing love in different ways.
He does not play favorites.
A lot of people say that to justify their hatred of Mabel.
No Stan DOES love and respect Dipper and enjoys his company, yes he often teases him but he shows concern for him as well.
Thank you for making this video 😊
And if he does favor Mable, it's because she reminds him of himself. Dipper will eventually get more successful just like Ford did, and he doesn't want her to feel left out.
@@AverageReader._. "If he favors Mabel"
That didn't happen.
@@duduamrosh thats y averagereader said "if" bc its hypothetical

Besides, is it really so rare for a man to “tease” his family in a joking way? If a man can’t joke with his nephew that basically calling him girly or a nerd every once in a while leaves a scar, the relationship isn’t there. So even Stan “mocking” Dipper was a way of loving him, in Stan’s own way. Hell, I’m 25 and me and my 11 year old sister like to joke around. And god himself doesn’t wanna repeat some conversations me, my dad, and my 15 year old brother have fun with.
THE ONLY OLD WRINKLY THING THAT HARASES MY FAMILY IS ME !👹
This is precisely how to make a “mean” character compelling!
Proves why this show will always be my favorite cartoon.
he just doesnt know exactly how to show it, but in reality he loves those kids and hed do anything for them
the way both Ford and Stan tell Soos to shut up when he pointed out that Stan had no real reason to wear Mabel's sweater ;-; my heart--
he is a good grunkle
Love how the first minute was him being very obviously a not-so-decent caretaker. What a character
Well, we can at least appreciate that he's trying.
“LEFT HOOK”!
This is like coming home and watching your fav relaxing thing on TV it just so perfect and cozy and it has all the these great memories.
5:42 Also this might just be the most funniest transition Stan give the Kids the ticket to go home and what is Dipper response? Why SCREAMING ofcourse xD
GRUNKLE OF THE YEAR!!!
He’s been the best Grunkle for over 10 years
Stan is everything Blitzø wished he were
He is not perfect but he is our grunkle of the show and this series never gets old
I love how awkward it probably was for alex when he had to talk to other characters
6:45 This is a perfect cut, didn’t catch that
9:07 I dunno why but this part always makes me cry it’s too wholesome😭
Now who wants to go put on some blindfolds and get in my car
YEEAAHH!!........ wait, what?
Blind folds never lead to anything good
9:24 Eda 🤣.
Whoa! Didn't know that
I knew that was her!
I'm doing a project on Stans character right now and this is actually exactly what I needed. Thank you!
As a college student, I wish you good luck for your project to become the greatest one ever and not Procrastinate like I did 😔👍
Good luck
Awww this is cute
10:24 Sus just coming from nowhere and getting cuted it's perfect.
You should have put the moment he puts the pig on the bus
OH MY GOD YES!
Roadside Attraction is probably Stan’s best grunkle episode
He is kinda the secret hero of the show lol.
How does this only have 14 likes?! This video is so funny and cute
This video now has 354 Likes.
@@Otokichi786 it now has 1.2k likes..
The Pines family is the awesome and the best family
4:35 There he is.
Oh I see him reading the book
10:08 we all broke down here
3:32 the slow motion punch to the eye 😂
9:00 is one of the most underrated moments In the show
He is my second favourite character in this show
9:22 😭
11:01 proof of true brotherhood
Toughening up your kids is part of being a parent/caregiver. It's unfortunate that you have to do it, but it must be done. We live in a world where nothing is fair. Nature doesn't care who you are or what you do. Sometimes in life, you've got to be tough.
That is why i think have both parents is necessary. You need the mom to teach love and compassion and the dad to teach strength and discipline.
@@BlackDiamond2718 Fair
@@BlackDiamond2718 Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but I feel like that's part of the reason why being a single parent is so socially praised. Because your children will turn out stunted on either side of the aisle.
Speaking from both personal and researched experience: there are ways to effectively encourage children into being better prepared for the world around them, but anything that requires you to be hostile to or harm the child in some way actually does the opposite. You don't "toughen up" a kid by treating them poorly, much in the same way you don't encourage self-control by being controlling to them. Forcing the issue doesn't cause toughness, it causes brittleness.
@@nickmalachai2227 Exactly and the episode dreamscaperers does a good job of showing that. Until Dipper actually heard Stan's true thoughts, he was weakened, not strengthened
9:24 I SAW THAT
I feel like gruncle stan likes mable more than dipper feel kinda bad
I think it's just cuz he's more similar to Mabel. Just like Dipper is more similar to ford. Ford definitely likes dipper more than Mabel, but thats not to say he doesn't care for her yk? They can just relate to each other's humor/ interests better.
Yeah I agree with lovinghisu, but I feel like grunkle Stan cares for both of them equally! the way I see it, personality wise it’s more towards Mabel but I find that his attention to Dipper he sees himself in him when he was struggling with when he was younger. His way to show he cares for Dipper is tough love. but anywhooo I love this man 🥹he’s a cutie patootie on the inside for these kids & brother
I lit just started rewatching the show recently :')
Realmente o stan é um herói
Na vida as vezes agente precisa ser Durão mesmo pra conquistar as coisas
