I am Greek and i really love Greek mythology. Even though the movie is innacurate to the actual myth, it was my comfort childhood movie. The movie and tone was fun and the music is still memorable to me even today i grew up ( I obviously watched the movie in Greek sub so it was a plus). Also the movie was drawn inspired by Ancient Greek art, the artists putted really mig effort to this no live action can match.

I don't know Disney has a history making evil stepmothers and Hera was mostly the one making Heracle's life difficult (she was the one after all to send the snakes and so on), so I don't know why they portrayed her as a loving mother when she's actually not. But hey, it has nice music, it's fun to pass the time, and you can tell the animators putted a lot of effort and passion into this one.

Yes we know it's not faithful to the original Greek mythology, but it was a fun game that took new liberties to make a captivating story, while also paying homage to the original myths

Because nobody could ever top James Woods performance of the character. I mean if I were in charge of that remake I would make it so that Hades is physically played by a stunt man and James Woods would play the character vocally.
In Portugal, Hades was voiced by actor Fernando Luís, who previouscly voiced both Zazu and Rafiki in the Lion King, went on to voice Pacha and Sully and, in the same year voiced Hercules in another companie's version of the movie. Zeus were voiced by the late Pedro Pinheiro, who were the voice of Scrooge McDuck. And Phill was voice by José Raposo, the voice of Pumba, Mr Patato Head and one of the Gargoyles.
I wish one of the future Super Sentai TV Shows or future Pretty Cure Anime could have a group of monsters (Either 4, 5 or 6) that are like the four Titans (Lythos, Pyros, Hydros, and Stratos). But they should be sealed in separate locations.

Ariel and Hercules are not cousins. Besides the fact that they are from two separate franchises, The Little Mermaid follows Roman mythology, not Greek mythology. Hence Triton's father is Neptune, not Poseidon.
It felt like this one was really stretching the facts real thin especially when the first 3 facts were hilariously just mentioning the date the movie was released to listing out all the golden renaissance movies that had little to do with a Hercules fact. I really enjoyed Disney's Hercules! It's essentially Rocky + Superman with elements of Greek mythology.
