As I prepare to turn 70 this year, I have memories from many more television programs than I care to count from the 1950’s on. In many ways it was a simpler time and to look back at this nostalgia gives me a warm feeling in my heart. Keep doing these videos because the memories you evoke will keep me forever young!
I know this area very well. My family bought a house in Hollywood in 1940 and lived there for 80 years. I grew up in this area, went to school here and drove around, the good old days! I remember a lot of the things you are talking about. Great Memories!
I am a former page at Paramount Studios. The brass was so impressed at my knowledge of not only the history of the lot but as a former TV audio engineer, I was the best page to explain the technicalities of the soundstage. I said all of that to praise you Jordan for having done your homework before each video. Your tours are very informative and entertaining. And the fact that you let us tag along with you and your dog on errands makes it feel like we are actually hanging out with you. Please do comedian/actor Redd Foxx. He once had a nightclub, a famous office building on LaBrea Ave I believe with his hand and face print mashed in the cement in front. His Sanford and Son sitcom ran on NBC. What studio I don't know. Then he collapsed on a Paramount soundstage shooting his last sitcom and is buried in las Vegas. Keep up the good work.
I remember going to the Desilu studios to see the taping of the Paul Rodriguez show with guest Zsa Zsa Gabor as part of the audience. They got along famously and was not being difficult with Paul at all which was amazing in itself for her reputation. Lots of memories there for sure. Thanks for keeping these memories alive before everything else disappears. Love your vlogs. 🙏🏻❤️🐕🦺 Jah is so sweet 💕
Wow !! Jordan , if I win the lottery you won't even have to worry about even having patrons , because I'll make sure you are taken care of . You definitely deserve it !! This was such a awesome thing to see . I had to share it with my family and friends on Facebook . Thanks Jordan !!
I love seeing anything related to Desilu. The majority of all the “I Love Lucy” episodes were filmed at the Cahuenga location, before ''57 when operations moved to the old RKO lot.
I am so thankful for vlogging the Old Hollywood Treasures. I don't live too far, maybe a couple hours (maybe less), but I would never be able to see these things on my own. Watching with you is like exploring with a friend, a very knowledgeable friend! Thanks, Jordan!!! ❤️
The golden girls was shot on stage 1 at that time beauty and the beast with Ron Pearlman and Linda Hunt was shot on stage 3 both Witt Thomas productions. I spent a lot of time on those sets. Thank you for the wonderful memories
So great.....thanks for letting us be a part of this. I lived in .ca most of my life...got to see a few things but not like you do....Lucy and Andy are my favorites....Living back here in VA...I go to Mt Airy (Mayberry) quite a bit. Thanks for your videos..I enjoy them so much. You would make a great host..tv personality.
My mom's cousin was Lucille Ball's secretary like 70s to 80 . I Thought RKO studios was in there too cuz they bought since RKO was the one who made the movie they met on. Also Studio that made Its AWoderful life. My Dad was able to work on the sets of Hogan's Heros , Batman , and the last episode of Adam's Family. Also worked on that old movie Voyage into inner space where they shrink down and go into the body of a person, it was a black and white I think . Thx. For sharing! COOL vlog!
I come from lovers of the 'I Love Lucy' show and sometimes still watch the episodes to this day. Good stuff! My maiden grandmother, who lived in a beautiful English Tudor home that remains in Granada Hills used to call my great-grandma (her Mom) at her little chicken and fruit farm in Sepulveda every morning and they'd watch 'I Love Lucy' together. Kind of a creepy story, but my grandma died very tragically at just 42, I was a baby and was there when it happened... For a good year after her death, my great-grandma's phone would ring at the same time every morning (around 9am) at the start of the 'I Love Lucy' show and she'd just hear air. She used to swear it was her daughter, my Grandma, trying to reach out from beyond. That was 1980-81' and before caller ID or hi-tech phones. Also, the people that bought my Grandma's home in Granada Hills later hired a private detective to find my family and ask what had happened in the house... The woman was not a fan of 'I Love Lucy' but said that no matter what she was watching on the TV in her kitchen during the mornings, usually news, the TV would always change channels to the 'I Love Lucy' show. Creepy stuff! She didn't have a remote control for the TV either and claimed she unplugged the TV and it turned on to the 'I Love Lucy' show, my Grandma's favorite. That's one of many stories about the house, but I think of it every time I watch the show. I believe Lucille Ball died the same year my Great-Grandma, Luella, did: 1989. Anyway, it's very cool to see the old locations. Thanks for sharing. :)
I love Andy! The entrance of the studio is where Andy drops Gomer off at the marines .. that's ehat I always think of when I see the studio.. one if the very few remaining Andy locations. Great job, kind Sir! :-D Sad Thelma Lou's house is now a parking lit on Lilian way. :/
Daze with Jordan the Lion :D I got so excited while watching that I sent that before I finished and totally forgot about the color episode lol! Thank you so much for going there.. I've only got to go out there to the fishing hole ;)

I enjoy your tours of these places. I hope to see some in person some day soon. Not sure if you know about this but a video popped up because of watching yours, it from Chaplin Speaks. Run by Charlie Chaplin’s grandson and also Son. They do a partial walkthrough of Charlie’s home in Switzerland. Thought you might like it because it’s so authentic and your interest in Buster and Chaplin. Anyway, I enjoy your channel, I’ll keep watching! Cheers.
Wow you are really a cute, sweet, and cool guy. I am glad that you love and found peace living in California. Thank you, for the tour and the information. I love The Golden Girls. It is one of my favorite programs.
Another outtasite video, Jordan ! All these years I thought the Desilu shows were on the old RKO lot since I had read somewhere that Lucy & Desi in the late 50s bought that lot to house their Desilu Productions company. Keep up the good work, young man ! Two thumbs up ! :-)

It was created by Harris & Kukoff who later created Different Strokes. I was a PA. Bill Bixby directed. Fun times. Joey did not have a car. I used to give him a ride home everyday.
Very good vlog! I enjoyed the Desilu history lesson. I am from near Dayton, OH and I have never went to the Troy Strawberry Festival but I always heard about how good those strawberry donuts were!
Thats so not what I thought it would look like! I never would have thought it was surrounded by traffic in a run down neighborhood like that. Very cool!
You can visit Mt. Airy, N.C. which is the town Andy Griffith was from, the town is set up just like the show down with the barber shop, the jail, it even had a museum of Matlock and Andy it's pretty interesting..
Wish I could have a dog. Live in a 55 plus community that doesn't allowed it. Hollywood was it best from the 20's- 60's. Now it's homeless, tents and open drugs deals have taken it over. So sad. Thanks for sharing.
I have a puppy who is almost identical to your hairy kid. He too is solid black with just a hint of white in his chest. He is a Pug / Chihuahua mix. Bat ears deep black eyes and impatient. Bur I have a very large yard so I just put my dogs out. Great Vlog. AWESOME BLOSSOM👽🇺🇸 FROM Roswell, NM.
One of my jobs was to get the daily’s. )12 reels of film) from the editors room at Red Studio to the top floor of one of the Century Towers in Century city. Every day at 3:30 I would have to fly down fountain to Santa Monica get to Century City, find parking and get 12 reels of film to the top floor projection booth for the big wigs to view. By 4pm. Crazy Hollywood.
hey from perth western australia, i want to thank you for an awesome job your doing, everything you present is fascinating, would love to see a vlog on valentino and where he filmed his movies. thanks again Jordan.

So weird, I was just thinking about Lucille Ball the other day and then you vlog about it.
I had a friend who was a permanent extra on The Golden Girls
It would be cool to go inside and see old sets like on Andy Griffith show. I’m sure they are long gone though.☹️
