A thorough analysis of Sans

- Sans is not just one of the most popular characters from the Undertale series (including Deltarune), but one of the most talked about as well, both within the broader mainstream, and in the fandom. In spite of this, I thought that talk on the empirical evidence and occurrences relating to Sans in game could use some support. This video delves into breaking down the character in the story, what they are capable of, and explaining things that many often seem to deem as analogous or explainable by odd means. Also, though the visual aspect can be important, you can listen to the vid in the background if you'd like
Edit: Hey, it's been awhile. Yall have had some good discussion I've totally blanked on in that time. After almost two years, I see this has 75k views, and this channel has 1k subs. Cool.
Another video coming soon; just not Undertale/Deltarune.
I personally always loved the idea that Mettaton Neo was designed to kill humans, and the fact that you killed them in one hit implies that you’re not really human any more
thats so smart actually
And then you see his defence, your attack, your LOVE, the fact that the more intent to oof a person has the more they do dmg and like, idk its a fun idea but is it really true? (That it was a reference to not being human)
@@mariotheundying i mean technically, gaining LOVE, having higher attack, and the intent to kill people is clearer and easier to perform, would mean that youre slowly losing your humanity so in a way it still works? (also lovely username)
@@touuvara oh yeah that makes sense, idk why I didn't think of that (thank you, this was like my 2nd username after 3 months of this account existing, and yes my 1st username was undyne the undying, and now the @ change in TH-cam made me want to keep this, even tho I found it cringe before)

I like to think that there's a timeline where Frisk/the Player just...gives up. Like Sanses special attack works, they just sit there...for all time
Undertale mediocre ending
The thing is, many players have given up to Sans. It is cannon as all possible endings are
Now I want to make a mod, where you have an "Option" to give up your determination, and the next time you die, that monster actually takes your soul. Either absorbing it themselves or passing it onto Asgore, giving the monsters "Their ending." But also having differences, like if Sans kills you, he is shocked that you don't respawn, and now has to deal with everyone he knows being dead.
@@Unoriginal____Starwalkerand like Chara, if they absorb your soul they will have to fight constantly to maintain control and resist your influence

@@crobisbobisnot really, wether freezing time for you and chara freezes the battle we aren’t sure, but the idea of a single bone being off screen would be sans dodging the inevitable through meta awareness of the player’s battle screen
He reminds me of my late grandfather in a lot of ways.
He was a short guy, never really talked about his personal life and was really hard to get to know, made some funny jokes here and there, and was much smarter than he looked(he could speak 4 languages and probably had multiple degrees). I guess that and Sans’ overall goofiness and relatability made me really like him over the years.
sans is a perfect character, chill guy to hang out with.
Your grandfather sounds like a very interesting individual.
Nice
i killed him
Your grandfather is sans
@@and______dude wtf
I hate it when people say he’s unserious or too serious. Also I hate it so much when people say he doesn’t care when papyrus is killed. If you do a Neutral ending and kill papyrus, he’ll express his anger to you after a yes or no question.
“If you have some power, shouldn’t you use it to do good?”
If you say no, he’ll call you a dirty brother killer. If you say yes, he’ll ask you why you killed his brother. He does care, but he knows it’s pointless to do anything about it. UGHHHHSBKSJEKEEKE
Its actually super interesting. Sans is deeply nihilistic due to him knowing anything he does is pointless because of resets. But despite that, he still cares deeply about his brother even though he know his death will be undone. Papyrus is the one thing sans still has the will to care about and that speaks volumes about their relationship imo
Also I'm pretty sure in one of the neutral endings where you kill most of the monsters he's says "this is what happens when people like me take it easy."
I wanted to mention that the human outspeeding every monster isn't entirely true, there are a bunch of cases in which monsters perform actions before you get the chance to do anything: Sans' first attack, Undyne turning your soul green (and technically, the chase sequences), Asgore smasing the MERCY button, both times you're in a battle with Flowey (The "tutorial" and the battle with Photoshop Flowey). All those times the monsters get to attack, or at least, do something before you can
Doesn't muffet also turn you purple before you can even male your first move as well?
@@spartacusthememelord6890 Nope, she uses her first turn to do so.
sans is the only one to actually get the first turn in a regular fight. in the examples you gave none of them actually *attack* before you, or its not a traditional encounter (omega flowey, tutorial flowey). sans is the only enemy to take a proper turn first.
I think it still counts. I’m talking about actions, not attacks per se. If Ninjask used Swords Dance, it still performed an action before you did even when they didn’t use an attack
I can't believe that I was obsessed, and I mean OBSESSED, with undertale since its release and I have just NOW realised that Sans is LITERALLY a judge. Like, he isn't just JUDGING you, his speciality is LITERALLY that. Creating karma points, his attacks expanding karma by sin, knowing your sins as well... like, oh my god, how have I not realised?
Okay, this is a really interesting analysis of Sans. I know the Undertale fandom has been over-saturated with this character over the years and many would now label him overrated, but I still think he's one of the most fascinating characters in the game and your analysis even covered some points I hadn't considered before.
I really liked in particular how you brought up the significance of Sans choosing not to act against you until the end of a no mercy run. Often this seems to get dismissed as Sans simply not caring or being selfish. But given what Sans knows and what his function in the game is, I think it kind of makes sense. Undertale is a game that calls you out for making cruel decisions but will ultimately forgive you for even the worst atrocities, save killing everyone in the entire Underground. As a result, it wouldn't make sense for the Judge of all people to seek vengeance against the player. His purpose is not to punish you in anger, but rather make you think about your choice and continually encourage you to do the right thing. And in a lot of ways I think that's what the final fight with him is about. He's giving you one last chance to finally put down your weapon and fix your mistakes, before it truly IS too late. In the Pacifist Run, Toriel expresses her loathing for Asgore but admits that despite his murdering all those children, he deserves mercy just as much as anyone else. And it's the same with the player. Sans shows you mercy, no matter how bad you are, unless you are inches from passing the point of no return. And it does seem to suggest that he may not be as nihilistic as people think --- that perhaps his inaction against you is not apathy, but part of his own guiding principle.
I guess one could also make the argument that he spares you as part of the promise he made to Toriel though. I've always found his iconic line, "You'd be dead where you stand," a little confusing, because it's something he tells you in a pacifist run. And I've never been able to decide whether I think he was just being a jerk to try to scare you, or if he seriously would have killed you if he wasn't doing Toriel a favor. It does leaving me thinking that he doesn't particularly like or trust you regardless of the route you take, though.
That's a lot of words
I agree@@Existentialism8820
@@Existentialism8820 sounds like a u problem
Considering his dialogue is unchanged from the other routes on the dinner with him, I'd Say it either
1.-Varies the fact it's a joke or not, from route to route.
2.-He'd try to murder You not out of selfishness but out of the idea of Beings with Determinación being deal breakers for his world, just as Flowey proved him. After all, we don't know how these characters acted towards the other 6 humans before
Sans has vague knowledge of each timeline, so he probably implicitly distrusts you on instinct because other players have gone no mercy before
Flowey has definitely beat sans at least once, it just took a lot of attempts. He quite literally says he killed EVERYONE in the genocide run. Good video though!
Could have potentially been a lie.
i wouldn't put it past Flowey.
just an observation though.
@@TheRealBaylock I don't think it has to be a lie, necessarily-I think he's maybe just not being entirely precise with his wording.
@@TheRealBaylock Nah he definitely did beat sans. If you keep going back to replay the ending after defeating Flowey in his omega form, he will eventually mention how sans "cost him more than his fair share of resets," meaning that although he was a pain to kill, Flowey eventually succeeded.
ehhhhhh this is still somewhat anecdotal, not exactly smoke and guns. @@GoldenWreck
@@GoldenWreckthat had to have been one hell of a fight though
So actual Sans is not some edgy guy who is too depressed to do anything because "genocide will appear anyways", as many chalk him out to be
He's actually just lazy and laid back but incredibly smart, actually very powerful and has an very-very high chance to have not only space manipulating powers, but also time control as well, also he uses less puns than Papyrus, Sans uses really cheesy ones just to piss of his brother and prefers pranks and practical jokes.
Also Sans is a great at manipulating people mentally.
agreed although in my opinion sans was sort of depressed at one point when he found out about resets and stuff but after the true pacifist route and if you do not reset he gains hope in you again although i also do think that his laziness is a part of his personality
@@bubbledafoxy I don't think he's depressed because of the resets but because of the original place he came from
@@Lipe326im pretty sure he isnt depressed at all. He's just sorta Apathetic about most things, as smart people tend to be. And lazy.
@@mr.mcklockwork3828 He kind of missed the place and gave up I don't think he's still happy
@@Lipe326 what was the original place he came from? i thought he was just a monster in the underground
one notable detail i think you left out, about sans being the only one to keep the player locked in an attack that doesnt actually do anything, is the end of Mad dummies battle. they actually did the *exact* same thing. the only reason that failed, was because Napstablook came in
really makes you think if the rpg mechanics of it all will be further explored in deltarune if basically everyone is familiar that this is how fighting works lol
I don't think that's necessarily what the Mad Dummy was saying she was going to do, though. Throughout the fight she was talking about how the human had no way of hurting her as a ghost, and getting rid of all her attacks until she had none left to use. I think the idea she was expressing with "You can't hurt me and I can't hurt you" was that she and the human would just exchange turns during which neither would ever be able to hurt the other. Especially since she phrased it as "You'll be stuck fighting me FOREVER", which sounds much more active than what Sans tried, and also makes no mention of turns. And she has no reason whatsoever to try and stop the human from taking their turn, anyways.
@@floralQuaFloral by the way mad dummy is gender neutral, only becoming a girl when they became mad mew mew
@@cringelord7776 I would describe that as being kinda subjective, IMO. The ghosts are a pretty straightforward trans allegory, so Mad Mew Mew adopting a feminine presentation upon possessing the Mew Mew doll can be interpreted as self-discovery rather than the character's gender actually changing. Her arc is very similar to that of Mettaton, a character who is pretty commonly thought of as having been a guy even before Alphys constructed his robotic body; the biggest difference between them is just that Mad Mew Mew didn't seem to be aware of the kind of body she wanted until the moment she found it, and that her acquisition of her dream body occurs during the events of the game rather than at some point before it. So I think the Mad Dummy being a girl before acquiring the Mew Mew doll is a pretty coherent interpretation of the character's arc, personally.
For the Sans non-attack I don’t think it really proves that he’s more able than other monsters, just that he’s more knowledgeable. Of course the other monsters wouldn’t keep you in a single attack for the rest of time because, as far as they know, if they kill you, you stay dead. Sans, on the other hand, knows you will keep coming back each time you die. He knows that killing you is worthless or even beneficial to you, so instead he just keeps you in limbo.
Love that you implied other monsters CAN do that, but just won't, because that's what the mad dummy tried to do (and failed because of napstablook)
yeah other monsters like mad dummy can do that but one, theyd have to stand their for all eternity which isn't very appealing and two they think killing the player is enough to end the battle.
I always thought that Sans did have some amount of soul power. For example, when Sans uses his telekinetic powers, his eye flashes blue and yellow. However, the shades of these colors are the same as patience and justice. I think that Sans may have generated these powers through his own will power at some point, much like undyne did with determination. These two souls also largely reflect sans' personality, his patience being his laidback nature, and his justice being him within the judgement hall. These souls would also give him his slight time manipulation powers as mentioned in the video.
I also think that Papyrus also has knowledge about Frisk's power just like Sans. He's even able to defeat you without actually killing you just leaving you at 1 hp. And there are so mug stuff that proves Papyrus has the same knowledge and Strengths as Sans, Maybe even stronger
Seems implied he does. He just acts naive to keep his optimism intact.
Great video and I know I'm very late but your point about sans "bleeding" ketchup not blood is entirely wrong, monster food turns into magic as soon as it enters a monsters mouth (source: one of the books from the library in snowden), we see sans bleed out of his mouth this means 1 of 2 things 1: it's blood he has for an unexplained reason. 2: it's human ketchup made from real tomatoes and other ingredients, In this case why and how would sans have it.
How does alphys have anime? It’s from the surface we actually KNOW that at waterfall some stuff from the surface ends up their. Second of all he’s sans he can defy logic
@@glareninja
Well, then it'd mean tomato seeds fell into the underground somehow and monsters had a way to properly grow them somehow.
(Despite the underground being litterally an underground, there's still light in there and it's both raining and snowing in some places.)
Sans is a monster, not a very litteral human skeleton. He's skeleton-like, but still has functions similar to Toriel (a furry), the ghosts, or that goop janitor.
Honestly, knowing this, both ideas might be plausible. He might as well bleed or not.
@@Kyumifun or it could just mean that someone keeps dropping their bottles of ketchup. or that sans keeps a bottle of ketchup in his pocket, although that doesn't explain the bleeding from the mouth thing
i'm imagining, like, a heinz truck crashing on mt ebott and the entire supply of ketchup bottles plummeting into the underground. it seems unlikely, but it's also the exact sort of absurdity that already surrounds the skelebros, so who knows?
i mean sans has toilet paper and car magazines so i wouldn’t be surprised if he had surface ketchup
It’s human ketchup
Sans in my opinion can have 3 interpretations the first that he knows about reset and the second that he doesn't know about resets and the third one he doesn't know about resets but finally realizes it just before you arrive.
So the only 3 options?
Great analysis. I do not belive chara is evil tho. They is an impressionable kid. The reason they destroys the world is because thats what you were doing. They didnt have this massive evil plan. This is my personal opinion. Just my theory. I do not belive there was actul confirmation.
Chara being evil would kind of ruin a lot of the story for me. You choose to kill all those monsters, not Chara. They only kill monsters during the sans fight at the end and the asgore fight.
Im pretty sure Chara still wanted to (at the very least) beat the shit out of humanity, but I suppose you could excuse that as a sympathetic but flawed goal. This is especially apparent with theories as to why or how Chara fell into the Underground.
@@agent2967 well yeah that makes sense
@@agent2967Yea
If Chara wanted to kill monsters they would've done that when alive, instead they ended their own life to try and help monsters, I think they would love to kill humans because humans suck, but they'd do anything for monsters. Also Frisk is the 1 human they can grow to like and help on pacifist with the memory because Frisk shows how pacafistic and good they can be.
Really enjoyed your video! With a character like Sans who’s been stretched and morphed through the eyes of the fandom with alternate variations and interpretations it’s incredibly refreshing to see someone bring the frame back to who the character from the original source.
I adored your dive into quantum mechanics and how Sans’ magic and understanding effects his character. I’m a fanfic author but I strive to have source accurate characters but in a fandom as vast as Undertale it’s difficult to find good Characters analysis without it being diluted by fannon. So I’ll absolutely be using your video to recenter my view when I need to.
Honestly the whole video was some pretty stellar work as a first video and it truly deserves more likes then what it got. I hadn’t payed much attention to the visual since I was listening to this whole doing paperwork, but your script and delivery was captivating and you have a very easy voice to listen to with noticeable energy and passion towards the topic.
Even though it’s been a year since it’s original upload I hope you’re doing well and consider doing more videos! But if that’s an interest you’ve fallen out no problem! I’m still incredibly grateful for this one!

Sorry
Beautiful analysis. It's very well made, i can even say one of the better ones.
Do you have plans for more videos like this ? Maybe something about Asgore and Dreemurr family or something Deltarune related.
Though I may make a shorter video on Mettaton , I'm waiting long term to make anything on deltarune. I really like DR, though I want to wait until it is complete, as there is already an immense amount of substance to it, and 5 whole chapters to be released
Your video got me thinking... By the time we reach Photoshop Flowey, that's his first time facing us. He did, however, face the "smiley trashbag" enough times to dislike him. Photoshop Flowey seems to be overpowered enough to fight Sans. Sans can teleport? No problem, Flowey can track someone's presence and shoot projectiles in every direction at incredible speeds. Space-time manipulation? Karma points? None of these are a problem if Flowey masters the save/load mechanics, which he claims to have done until Frisk falls into the underground. When Flowey assumes that form, it means he's gotten a hold of the other human souls, which shouldn't necessarily be impossible without the presence of the 7th fallen human.
Tl;dr: Wouldn't it be crazy if Flowey's strongest form (not Asriel) happened to be actually something he develop to fight someone who's hard to beat even for the overpowered human who could destroy their entire existence?
There's a great animation for that, I love to think that whilst Sans never faced photoshop Flowey, he had always beat regular Flowey with his 6000HP 19 atk etc. that and that some of the defeats were non combat agreeing to alternate things like chess, cards or rap battles.
the mad dummy says hes just gonna trap you by not doing anything. but then napstablook chases him away
Great analysis! I hope you end up making more like this even thought you haven’t uploaded in 8 months
Thanks! Been recently working on a new video. Not as much an analysis, but a comprehensive showcase of some quite powerful abilities of many Yu Yu Hakusho characters
I really hate when people just overlook him because of the memes, which is quite ironiv since i think it was made on purpose. He is, something that looks one thing but is another breaking every expectation.
People felt for it and now think he is just the "funneh skele-TON XDDDDXDDDXDDDXXXD"
Awesome video man, deserves way more attention for your more unique analysis of Sans
3:40 it’s a good theory but 1. The color is literally the default red in mspaint so it could be an oversight.
And 2. Monster food is said to “just convert to pure energy” so it doesn’t digest and just disappears. Which means he can’t eat it and have it pour out when he’s stabbed
Great, great video! You’re so underrated! Keep up the good work ;)
This is an excellent character analysis and a well done video! I honestly couldn’t even tell it was your first video. I really appreciate how genuine you were during your outro, I look forward to watching any videos you make in the future ❤
I don't typically leave comments but that little end bit was really sweet and I hope you're also doing well! Also I never would have guessed this was your first video, it was excellent!!
Woah. I thought that this was just a regular video made by someone with 100k+ subs. Amazing start to a youtube channel, goodluck! Also, the fact that sans is aware of the battle system similar to asgore is a crazy power parallel. The fact that sans possesses powers that even the king of monsters (i am aware that he holds back) cannot match is crazy.
Oh, and you forgot to mention his ties with gaster (or not, after all that's a whole different video) the fact that he has gaster blasters can have huge implications on his role as a royal scientist. his abilities to ignore s proves that he has even deeper knowledge of the battle system
this is probably the best analysis of sans out there, thank you for this vid
This is a very underrated analysis, crime to see that it is underappreciated
This video taught me so many things and gave me even more info on my already existing outlook on sans
Wow!! For their first video, this was very impressive!! I'd hope to see more from them soon! Very well done!
This was really good! I hope you make another video!
Something quick, mad dummy WAS gonna keep the player trapped in the battle box in pacifist but napstablook came in 21:14
I think this analysis suffers because it refuses to analyze undertale as a game and meta commentary. These characters didn't just fall out of the sky. Toby's characters were also inspired by the thematic or symbolic points he wanted to make.
So we have to be wary from readying things from a strictly narrative standpoint.
I'm not the one to be able to make this analysis. I just know that sans, flowey, and chara are not traditional narrative characters and were primarily intended to invoke a connection directly with the player. To break the narrative illusion between your character's actions and your own.
Sans fights the one that can reset the world, you. He attacks you in the menu because this is the game breaking the separation between anything the player does and the character does. You cant retreat to the place the game has designed specifically for the player. Because Sans knows about the code of the game (quantum physics) he can cheat. Undertale can't be understood if we try to divorce its characters from the fact that they are in a game, specifically an RPG.
Sans is made of two aspects that override each other at different times. He is a narrative character, and he is a meta analysis of how game mechanics connect to the narrative. So is flowey.
Chara or *input your name here* has three aspects all in contradiction. They can be a narrative based character. They are a self insert for the player, and finally they are a meta stand-in for the person the player becomes when following RPG mechanics. It's a symbol that fills all of these roles at once though is primarily in the spot light over the other at any given time in the story.
This is why Undertale confuses people. Aspects in aspects in aspects. It is a game, it is a story. Characters are sprites/text and characters are code.
For a first video and an only video, this is absolutely great.
this was an objectively great observation that made me think. Hard to find that on TH-cam now a days.
Watched the whole video (WITH SNACK) and was honestly shocked to hear it was your first ever video. I saw it was from a year ago so subscribed and went to your channel, to find that this is your ONLY video. I don’t know what kind of videos you’re interested in making or if you even want to continue this channel, but I’ll be here! Waiting and hoping to see one of your videos pop up in my sub box. Hope to see more, good stuff. Nice chill commentary, well researched, and really good case made for sans using teleportation/timestop in battle.
I don't think flowey never won against sans. He only said he hated him for killing him so many times. He's petty and I mean come on, if you died many times wouldn't you get petty too? Flowey also has determination although weaker than the player, he probably kept going, kept dying multiple multiple times until he got past sans.
i should say that thank you for getting into quantum physics topic this much. i like sans because he has a deep character with the aspect of phsyics and philosophy, it was really interesting to hear an analysis that mostly goes through this and i appreciate it

the only nitpick I can even really think of here is that the Mad Dummy attempts to do the same thing as Sans' special attack but is stopped by Napstablook's tears
I'm actually excited to have a look at the Chara analysis. it gets tiring being swept up in TH-cam arguments full of people who somehow feel their interpretation of Chara as a neutral or even sympathetic character is uncommon when it's practically all I see, and seeing the thoughts of someone else who stands on the side of Chara being malicious as a character will be, as one might say, very, very interesting
actually the dummy just doesn't think of fleeing being an option, it's that as a ghost humans can't deal damage to them.
Bro dropped one amazing video and never came back
For a first video, this is really good! I eat analysis videos like this up, so I will probably be returning again : ) Also agree on Sans being super misunderstood and not quote lining up with nihilism.

Nice, I pray for your sucess as a youtuber with this being your firstvideo
"in my way" is the theme of the "human"
Great first video, man! If one's first video is truly the worst video, then I can be certain your continued sedulousness with future projects will amount to some great creations. Though, this sentiment of "first video = worst video" only applies if effort rises throughout one's career, thus making the next video require more effort, but will simultaneously heed a greater feat.
TLDR: awesome vid, can't wait for the next one! xD
20:17 Literally Mad Dummy without Napstablook.
Thwre was no "next video"
Hey, where'd you go?? This video is amazing, you really should make more!
Sans stole the pause button, like it's notable that using the menu doesn't pause the game, he could probably attack weaker souls in pause like other monsters, non Undertale humans, and most likely beat flowey this way since without a soul Flowey would count as an object that can be damaged.
What do you MEAAAN this was your FIRST video?? Also I love the Megalovania theory so much it’s just makes sense to me
You mentioned maybe doing a Chara analysis at some point, and that you think most people misinterpret them. I'd be super interested in that! Whenever you feel like it... ;)
Dog imma be honest, the last half felt like a delusional ramble and I had no idea what you were saying. I love this video, 100/10.
first ever undertale analysis that doesn't make ears bleed from the voice
23:06 just wanna add something on here, but even though it is technically a different timeline, according to flowey at the end of a pacifist run, resetting will “rip everyone from this timeline, and send them back before any of this happened” so while it is a different timeline, it’s still the same characters, if that makes sense
The mad dummy being completly ignored about using the not doing anything strat like sans:
AM I A JOKE TO YOU?
For a first video this was pretty good
okay one thing about the “ketchup” thing; monster food is absorbed by the body the instant it is eaten. his “blood” can’t be ketchup, solely by that metric. also, if he was going to be spilling ketchup now, he’d spill it before, when he was drinking it.
as to what it is, i immensely doubt that it’s determination, but it cannot be ketchup.
also the game is NEVER actually from the lens of frisk. the mirror dialogue “it’s you!/despite everything, it’s still you./still just you, frisk./it’s me, chara.” is a major hint to that. the narrator is not frisk, and not you.
“Non can simply trap the player” You’re forgetting that Mad Dummy does this too
sans knowing how many times you've died, etc etc, seems to be a series of educated guesses based on the indicators he can readily see, like expression and body language. sans is incredibly smart and can read people like a book, almost literally, but he's not omnipotent.
given that, there's a serious possibility that he made a mistake and we fell for it. he _assumes,_ based on the observable indicators, that the human (the player) is the anomaly. HOWEVER, he's also established to not know about flowey in the time stop "echo flower" talk. _(which is why sans doesnt actually remember resets but thats a whole other story)_ so, it's totally possible that the actual anomaly is flowey, and we've just all been stealing the credit for ourselves this whole time.
on a related note, the "everything ends" involves every single timeline, not just geno ones. so it's totally possible that that end is, in fact, the end of undertale as a game. period. that's the exact flavor of meta i would expect from sans, that he discovered the game's literal ending.
in other words: the anomaly could be FLOWEY, BEFORE we showed up, and only a little bit of the player's influence in the very last day. then, the "everything ends" is a fourth wall break/meta moment referring to the end of the game.
tl;dr: is flowey the anomaly?
The fact that this has so little views and comments makes me nihilistic you did a wonderful job with great research but I think you’d like video about sans being a darkner by 2 Left Thumbs I don’t think it’s correct because it’s just a theory but The facts are all true in there some stuff that you could add to this with the information he presents for example I disagree that it’s ketchup when he dies because in grillbys it’s made very clear that monster food converts directly into energy right after being consumed it could possibly be in his jacket but that wouldn’t make sense either because it leaks from his mouth as well so it has to be just his blood he covers that in the video as well as sans stating that he wishes to go back to some where other than the surface I don’t think he’s a darkner but I definitely think there’s something more to him that has yet to be revealed either way I think that looking into the sans if deltarune would add a lot of perspective and evidence for your analysis of sans and I would love to see your take on it
Cara? Huh...
Anyway, great video! It was super fun and informative, but let It be factually heard that while Chara did indeed have some form of trauma, which begat her extreme disdain towards humanity, she, along with Asriel, did want to free the monsters (her new family). But, in Genocide wants to slaughter all of them now? Yeah, that's beautiful nonsense. Even the game spells out the fact that your choices (Genocide, Neutrality and Pacifism) are how Chara is effectively reincarnated and morally shaped
I appreciate the use of the core genocide theme. Perfectly capsules the feeling of, "were nearing the end". Really shows how unstoppable you are
Best analysis
Hold up??? First video??? Damn thiz is professional level
This is a good TH-cam video! Suprising to hear that is the first one that you have made haha ^_^
16:55 he absobrs the human souls before catching everybody, then he absorbs the souls of every monster.
Blud dropped the hardest analysis known to man and stopped making videos
I really like the theory that Sans' blood is magic, let me explain, the only colors that we see in battles are in Asriel and Photoshop/Omega Flowey, also the souls, which are all strong magic, so it would make sense if red blood would be connected. My theory is that sans in an act of desperation to make the player feel bad and guilty shows himself bleeding and in pain hoping that guilt would make you reset, he runs off to leave to your imagination a scenario where he just slowly bleeds out.
So basically my theory is sans is guilt tripping you to reset lol-
(Sorry for my English it's not my first languege)
