Nassau Is Not Ocean Cay

- We're on back-to-back cruises on MSC's Magnifica and today was supposed to be our first of two visits to Ocean Cay. Not so fast, buddy boy... because of the weather, Ocean Cay was canceled and replaced with Nassau.
Nassau definitely isn't Ocean Cay... but is it salvageable?

I don't usually book anything at Nassau. We usually meander around the safer part of the historic downtown. I enjoy the museums, there are a couple of restaurants that are great, and you can walk to most places.
💯 We love to visit local areas and sample the food… great way to get a feel for a port!
At $10 per scoop, that Gelato better come with the winning lottery numbers. 😂

It was a wonderful save by TTT, turning what could have been another short day in the new port or basically another sea day into a fun and adventurous excursion. I was almost expecting another bar crawl with Beth laughing as Chris finds another of those wasscily wabbit bar stools that move on him😂 Nassau is definitely not Ocean Cay, no cruise line island or port is like Ocean Cay.
Got to watch ‘em… those stools will get ya!🤪

We will be in Nassau in a couple of weeks. I'm sure we will venture out, away from the new expensive port shops. We really need to plan a snorkeling excursion there one day. Great job Y'all

I am starting to think we were on the ship at the same time 🤔 We were rerouted to Nassau as well but still had a great day. Super disappointed to not get to Ocean Cay though!
Hey guys 😊 we were on Feb 16-23. It seems like so many times this winter OC was missed. Happy to hear they are widening the channel coming up. That should make better!!

Hi guys… I (Beth) always bring my own floaty. I get exhausted so easy in the water so need it but it’s great since it folds down to practically nothing in my suitcase!
Three desserts for two people? Who doubled up or was it a split? Sure looked good!!!!
So I guess we never said on the video but our table neighbors had a birthday and ordered a beautiful sponge cake. They were so nice to share a HUGE piece with us as they were disembarking the next morning. That was what we were bringing back to the room. No way to have Italian night and be able to finish everything 😁😁
Any information about Bermuda? I see that the itinerary has it booked three days in Bermuda… I wonder how that works with the yacht club meal plan?
You’ll have to get back on the ship for meals… there is no Yacht Club section at a beach on Bermuda. The good news is… with a YC dedicated entrance, you can get back on the ship a lot faster!😊🤪😊
