We all work very hard to make a way for ourselves and our families in this society. For my one or two cruises each year, I go to the Yacht Club (or Disney Concierge) to get the luxury & exclusivity in order to maximize my vacation time, money, and experience. As you guys mentioned early in the video, the Yacht Club saves time - time spent in line, time waiting for drinks, time embarking/disembarking the ship at each port, etc. The Yacht Club stretches my vacation dollar to the maximum amount of time allowable. The YC crew members we’ve met since we started cruising with MSC in 2016 have watched our children grow up and they are truly our friends now. And could I cruise 4 times a year not in the Yacht Club, sure. But, I honestly don’t want to cruise that much because I’m afraid it would take away from the special excitement I get on embarkation day - like a kid on Christmas morning - on the way to see what old Santa brought me. Arriving at the terminal, seeing the Yacht Club tent and making that walk down the blue carpet to my little piece of paradise will always be special because I know what awaits me up in the Top Sail Lounge.

Next time I am on MSC, "I heard on Taste Try Travel I can get my port fees back."

I am booked for my first MSC/Yacht Club experience in the Mediterranean next year - so excited! Thanks for all the MSC/Yacht Club content.

Oh the jealousy & envy is real with respect to Yacht Club cruisers. I don't get it either; it's like sitting in traffic and you see a guy in the car next to you in a BMW and you're in a Chevy. But, you're going to feel some kinda way about the guy in the BMW! Or the people in first class on the plane while you're in row 30! I mean, C'MON people are you serious!?

F*** yeah the yacht club is worth every nickel. My wife will never go back to regular rooms. Also the new MSC Explora ship is fabulous. Like a whole yacht club ship. You really should do a review of that ship. The only downside is it is $$$$.

The only, ONLY bad thing about YC is the YC beach on Ocean Cay. Everything else is *chef’s kiss*. We will cruise fewer times in order to save and afford YC.

What is it that real irony and some of the people getting mad at us for walking around the ship with our Butler probably paid more money than we did for the cruise because we sail in interior yacht club cabins.

This!!! You are on the ship for you! Yes, this!!! Who cares what others are doing? As long as they are not harming themselves or others, who cares!!! Preach!!! I cruise for me! We cruise for ourselves! Period. Even in the Yacht Club, if someone else gets a cabana we wanted...who cares?! We will get another one or loungers. It really is no big deal!

For a person with medical conditions and moves at a slower pace, love YC because everything is in close proximity. I would never be able to cruise on MSC because the size of the ship and amount of people. YC allows me to explore and enjoy a large ship at my leisure. I am a blue collar worker and will spend the extra money for a more enjoyable cruise for my situation. Love your videos and keep them coming.

Those saying that the people wearing wristbands are snobby or rude are nuts. It in no way compares to the pin and name tag wearing Diamond and Diamond + class on other lines. Every cruise line has different colored room cards for the different loyalty levels. But if you let that bother or intimidate you you are ruining your cruise for absolutely no reason.

I'm ready for you this time Chris, no coffee drinking while you are speaking. It burns the nose when I spit it out when I laugh. Good to see the old mug again. It looks like a Almond M&M that spent too much time in the hot tub. Will you do a vlog on the Yacht Club only excursions that are becoming available?

Yeah, I love MSC but that's a foul tactic. The old "beach umbrella up the tail pipe" trick.

As a tea sympathizer (I need a T-shirt) this tea library sounds amazing. My tea ❤️ level is so high that I carry a portable kettle in my work bag. I work on an ambulance and can regularly be found boiling water and brewing tea in the truck, to the eyeroll of my partner. Thanks for the deep dives.

We are leaving on 1st cruise with princess discovery to Alaska, we purchased the plus, I feel that should be enough, for additional 20 x 7 is alot more. We will see how it works for us. Thank you for breakdown of each. We are very excited.

We have had mixed experiences with the Carnival Sea Day Brunch, but the MSC one has always been good.

Just found your channel and had to check out this video since I spent two weeks driving the west coast of Ireland including visiting the Cliffs Of Moher, in 2023. My Mum's family come from Killarney, Co Cork - visited some of my cousins as well :) So many memories ...

On embarkation day for your cruise, was hola tacos open? I read somewhere that it was open on seashore or another msc ship on embarkation day.

We really enjoy Carnival sea day brunch. It's nice to spend a couple of hours just lounging over nice coffee, food, and good company in the mdr. I travel all over the world with my own coffee and coffee service even in South and Central America. I am super picky about my coffee so the tea library is really nice for the tea connoseurs.

The World Tour Brunch we the WORST experience we have ever had on MSC! I let them know in person & by email. 10mins to get water glasses, another 10 to get water. 15 more to get bread + 10 to get bread plates. The food took 1hr & 15min to get to the table "after" the order...and of course, it came out cold (room temp or below). Spoke to dinning room manager and he never came back to check on us. One drink order did not come until we were getting up to leave (I had to to laugh in complete disbelief). The total time from being seated, to leaving - 1hr 52 mins!! We noticed the same thing happening to the tables around us. Not sure what happened (so unlike MSC) but no one was prepared for this event - from the server's to the kitchen & managers - No one was ready. Right idea, very poor execution! But ,1 bad experience out 6 cruises with MSC is not bad.

The tea thing isn't anything special I think. People have their favourite whisky, their favourite wine, etc. Whenever I look at maybe booking a new cruise line I check if they have my favourite whisky. Other people take their favourite bottle of wine to restaurants if the restaurant don't have it, that's what a corkage charge is for. I only drink rooibos tea, which comes from Cape Town South Africa so not very common, so a lot of the time I take some with me. I've not taken it on a cruise though, because when the whisky, beer and cocktails are all inclusive, then I don't have time for tea, just a nice strong coffee in the morning 🙂

Hey guys! It was great meeting you on the Seashore. It was great cruise - other than the end of day 5. Beth, I'm so sorry you felt the "motion of the ocean", but you did look well the next day! We won a free cruise to be used in the next year, maybe we will see y'all again soon! Thank you for being so friendly! And again...I hope we ,"I", did not interfere with your cruise time. Great show! I will be watching regularly.

We did nyc to Quebec and back 2 week on celebrity summit in 2107. Terrific cruise and the ports were all good. There is a neighborhood walk tour in old Quebec and was a great time. We will do it again perhaps with this ship.
