- It's the end of this journey on MSC's Magnifica. It's time to pick this ship apart with our comprehensive review... the good, the not-so-good, and the downright bad onboard.
Magnifica might be a somewhat "overlooked" ship, and that's for a couple of reasons... it mainly does short 3 or 4 day cruises, as well as Magnifica being an older, smaller ship. But does that mean you should avoid cruising on her? We've got lots & lots of answers for those (and a few other) questions.

I got off the magnifica on the 24th. The desserts were NOT like you described or pictured. They were exactly how you described "bad cruise desserts" to be. Weird!
That’s disappointing… at least they had good pizza, right?!?😊🤪😊
On MSC, the buffet is full contact!

The info signs looks themed?
Food in one section, kids activities in another, spa/pools in their own section and so forth.
But yes, maybe not the most intuitive
The idea of a themed info sign sounds great! We’d focus a lot more on the “bread & pizza” section on MSC! 🤪😊🤪

I love the theming of that ship I have always been a huge fan of art deco styling!

I almost had to be led out of a restroom on the Mardi Gras. I must have looked lost, and a young guy said, "can I help you" and I said Where's the door?" Embarrassing!! lol Great job Ya'll. All very legit cons.
Ha! That young man felt he did his good deed for the day and probably got his “help a bewildered gentleman find his way out of a cruise ship bathroom” Cub Scout badge!

I was ready for Chris to come on at the beginning to tell us to not to try to adjust our TV sets Ala The Outer Limits . Heck with the Lido loungers, I'm reserving my MSC coffee mug!

I am msc Dimond and I love MSC but that ship was the worst the cruise the cruise director was so bad I fell and he handed me a rubber glove with ice that was it did not fill out a Accident report.

Question, for the theater shows is it open seating or do you have to make reservations ?
Open seating. We always arrived about 20-30 minutes before and it was pretty much empty. 😊
