I have a challenge for Hektor, make him queue on silver-plat elo against 2 premade mid-jungle players. Enemy smurfers can be diamond 2 or higher. Let's see him carrying game against 2 duo smurfs.

Let's call it a challenge to expand the champion pool. When I'm not playing my pocket pick (Ziggs), I'd like to find either an alternative pocket pick, or a different brand of utility to the table.

Bruh this is exactly how I lost an Aphelios game a few days ago. Was carrying my team but lost my focus for one second, walked a bit too far, and got my whole team killed. Feels bad af.
Ya, one day u are carrying on ezreal and u r very confident u r gonna win and then u decide to E forward in a post 30 min team fight and in that split second u can see the enemy team destroying ur nexus.

So the answer is... No if your team is hard trolling there is nothing you can do.. If a challenger couldn't carry there is no way I can.

The difference is that you can't win 100% of your game anyway. Has long has he play has he did, he will get to challenger no problem, so he will have more win the lost.
@@Adramelek21 challenger player should win 100% games against golds. I am sure he would carry this as jungler midlaner or toplaner if he had even 2 afks on their team. If shows how worthless is ADC in low elo.
@@txt_masteer9492 Even challengers make mistakes, so even as another lane you would never be able to win 100% of your games. Obviously though, it is a lot easier as jungle mid or top or even support. ADC is a hard role with high risk champions. That's just what you sign up for when you play that role. But as you can see, if you play it right you are super powerful anyway

@Alex Flint ad shaco is an assasin, not an adc, after pushing waves you should look for picks instead of afk waiting for the enemies to clear the wave

I like how this guide highlights what you should be doing and how to maintain your gold income. however, its extremely unrealistic to expect people in their respective divisions, to hard stomp their lane and mechanically outplay equally as fed people with better dueling. Also, if a challenger smurf couldnt carry, how would a silver/gold be able too?
How to climb as an adc in a nutshell;
1-Dodge everything and be challenger mechanics
2-Be untiltable and unbreakable mentality
3-Dont be behind ever and be 12 cs per minute and ultra fed always
4-Have challenger like. Macro and desicions when u are actually a gold trying to climb
5-still Lose
so to carry games i have to be challenger skill level, never misplay and have perfect mechanics or it's my fault I lost. Okay got it.

@@archersterling6726 It is impossible to carry games in league actually unlike in Dota. In Dota, even if your team is AFK or Noobs, you can still carry games since Dota don't have objectives like Drakes and Br. In league, not even Faker can carry games with noob players.

Pretty much proves the point that carrying as an ADC, even when you are a fed late-game Kai'Sa piloted by HECTOR, is impossible. Imagine playing Jhin or Ashe in this same situation. One mechanical mistake or a single misstep and it's over. It's a truly shitty role to play and completely depends on how well your team does which is a coinflip in low elo.
If this is your conclusion after watching this video then you should stop watching them altogether ...
Do you think it's easier to carry as a bruiser in this situation? You literally have to jumb in the middle of the enemy team to do any damage
@@Sergios_Kounelakis Considering that Hector made 1 mistake and lost instantly, the conclusion that OP made isn't far off. When trying to carry as ADC you have to play perfectly, as 1 single wrong move will cost you the game.
@@mrWade101 See I'd agree with all that, except every lane is exactly the same thing in that situation.
Doesn't matter what lane you play if you're the only fed/carrying member on your team at that stage of the game 1 mistake and it's game over.
On top of that people say he did 1 mistake, when clearly he made 3 in quick succession.
1 got caught in bot, 2 he didn't far sight baron 3 he got caught in the end.
If 1 didn't happen the rest wouldn't even have a chance to happen.
In conclusion the mistakes hector made are not exclusive to adc and will be punished just as hard in any role or champion you play.
The difference between hector and every person that watches skill capped vids and still complains about role/champs etc is that he was willing to learn from his mistakes and stop them from being repeated.
@@ma-cg1il of course it is. A bruiser who is this fed can 1v3 easily and are much better suited for this style of side lane pressure. A bruiser who is this ahead barely needs to micro at all to win a 1v1 as well.
I wonder if advicing the team can be helpful. Obviously there's nothing valuable in chat most of the time and you regularly prove that we can win with our own skills and knowledge. But sometimes I explain certain concepts to my team and they eventually apply them. Things like pressuring the sidelane, which champion is suited to farm midlane/sidelane, that we can already kill baron with 2-3 champions (because most player are afraid of it), that drakes aren't worth dying, etc.
Yeah same, as a jungler I'll often say "all to drake" or "bot to drake" or remind the perma splitting top laner that we need to prevent the enemy from getting dragon soul
It's a mix of delight and nostalgic sadness looking at a game without the new items or the changes

Single digit deaths? How cute. I just came off a game where Jax was 8/20, MF was 5/15, zyra was 6/13. Was able to stay at 8/5 for a while, but ended the game at 9/9 because xerath and wu just oneshotted everything, rammus was unkillable also thanks to a 5/6/40 lulu. They dropped like flies and just kept going in to feed the enemy, seemingly in order to destry any chance for a comeback. Tell me, how do you carry that?
You obviously cannot carry this because in any case , your team will just surrender before you start having any impact on the game , or they will just surrender because they lost their own lane and don t take your potential into consideration .
This happens so often on my adc smurf, I know I can carry but they just FF 4 to 1....
surrender is needed is there is team gap, if just score bad, you may still win, but if there is team gap and champion counter, ff is needed, also if jg doesn't do dragon, ff is needed.

Huge difference here. He ONLY DID THIS BECAUSE HE'S KAISA. That's it. That's the only reason. Being an ADC that has a high damage 1v1 nuke ability, a psuedo-dash that comes with STEALTH, and a long range blink ultimate that also has a FAT SHIELD behind it....yea, he could do A L O T more here than a Jinx, Kog, or even a Xayah could've done.
Don't fucking downplay the champ he's on. Almost no other champ could haveplayed EXACTLY the way he did here.

How to carry as adc in a game where enemies gigafed:
1. play a mind wrecking 25 mimutes perfectly grabbing every cs you can
2. Enemy realises that the only strong enemy is adc, so they flash ult you as soon as you get into vision
~~3.within that 1 minute respawn time they end the game~~
4. ???
5. Win.
Watching his teammates flame and tilt the shit out of each other while the only person on their team doing well stayed completely silent was so frustrating to watch

Even Hector couldn't carry as an ADC. That's why I gave up on trying and switched to mid/top instead

Just had probably the most tilting game of my life. 10-2-4, 330 CS 36min game. Played the map, pushed sidelanes, and rotated for every neutral objective that my jungler was in position to contest... The mid Zed was screaming at me in the chat the whole game, while going 4-16-8. He and the Riven top were both level 14 when the game ended (36min) Fucking kill me.

What if you don't get any kills early because the enemy team actually uses that advantage to dick down the bot lane as well...
Kaisa is like the best for this objective, try to do that with a varus, ashe, jinx, its gonna be at least, way harder

I hate my life as a support, because no matter how much pressure I apply, how much roaming I do, how many engages I start or deny, it is instantly mitigated if the jg is sucking his premade off at toplane.
Either play extremely well and hope your ADC does the same, or just camp the enemy bot and mid with your midlaner since tea-time-top lasts the whole game

My only problem with this is not everyone can play at challenger smurf level. When we say adc is useless, its accounting for the relative skill level of all players. I shouldn’t have to smurf from challenger to win as an adc I don’t think.
I mean if you have low elo mechanics you deserve to be in low elo, you have to improve your mechanics to win games like this.

Big difference. I play at 60 typically, but when I lag it's 120-180 and that's too much for me. Going beyond 60-70'ish and you won't be able to perform certain mechanical plays that you could otherwise do.

I think its a balance issue if a sett is two levels down on a giga fed late game kaisa and can still one shot her.

For most of my games, I dose all tips about ADC
but most of my games I get feeders and int ppl who die before baron or drake 10 sec
my JG come and do bad ganks and give enemy ADC free kill and SUPP sometimes get EZ hook or not looking at a map or listen to pings when I see enemy JG is coming
all this make me lose easy and destroy all that I did in the early game
I got a diamond S10 but after a long long time
got demoted 6 times from plat 1 to plat 4 losing streak
I'm feeling I can do well in D1 or higher
and I know your rank = your skills
but we all know everyone had bad games and you can't win every game
but I'm maybe one of the most unlucky on this planet

If you learn how to kite go to the practise tool. Just spend some time autoattacking dummys and moving in between. Make sure you use the attack move instead of rightclick. It isnt something you can learn by watching a video its just a lot of practise. Also practise your kiting while you are lasthitting, towerpushing, doing baron or even while you are fighting an adc with higher range. Its just something you have to do all the time so it comes natural to you
U can try practice using mobile games. Those are good tutorials

Kitting isnt difficult, the real difficult part about playing adc is not getting caught, just like we saw in the video... you get caught you have no dps, you lode

You can right click to victory most games with adc as long as you farm and dont die stupidly like Hector did, you are NOT a frontline, assume it and be in the backline :) .
