This incarnation of Madame Rouge is basically what happens when you throw Plastic Man, Black Widow and the T-1000 into a blender…. Actually? I’m thinking it would be fun to see her 1V1 Luffy in One Piece, or Mr. Fantastic from Marvel.
Dog I loved her as my favorite character when I was a kid. Not to mention her powers were like broken as fuck. Able to mimic voices and everything and be durable and hit hard and take punches. She was a spy, a tank, and a fighter. She was also super smug like the entire time and backed it up
Random but Hynden Walch did a great job voicing her, she's foreign and sounds so menacing. It's almost hard to believe she also voices Starfire and Blackfire... she has range🔥🔥🔥🔥
I like it! I think they made her overpowered because unlike the Teen superheroes, she's an adult with much more fighting experience and being a villain
She's basically a female version of Plastic Man only not as OP as he is. Because unlike her PM" isn't organic,he's immune to mind control and the abilities of telepaths
What's sad about Madame Rouge is, at least in the comics, she's not actually evil. She was brainwashed by the Brain to be evil and given her powers by him as well. The Chief, the original leader of the Doom Patrol in the comics, learned this and tried to save her but failed hard, leading to her having a personal vendetta against the Doom Patrol which resulted in their original deaths (though only Elasti-Girl actually died). In response to this, Mento (who married Elasti-Girl and adopted Beast Boy) sought her out for revenge though eventually Robot Man and Beast Boy join in and Beast Boy ultimately defeats her and accidentally kills her by throwing her into a machine that electrocutes her. One both fortunate and unfortunate thing is being severely electrocuted actually freed her from her brainwashing, so she warned Beast Boy to escape as she had activated the self destruct before being defeated so she died a good woman but spent most of her adult life brainwashed to be a super villain. What's even worse is she's alive again in the comics, but still a villain so presumably still under the effects of the brainwashing but no one has tried to save her again. The Chief was later retconned to be an uncaring asshole who caused the accidents that made the original three members of the Doom Patrol into the people they are now so its unlikely he even cares to try and save Rouge again and I think he's the only one who knew besides The Brain and Mallah who have no reason to free her.
That would actually make sense. In the comics, she is partly responsible for the original Doom Patrol being killed. Mento goes to hunt her and the Nazi general she teamed up with down and Beast Boy later joins him and ends up defeating and accidentally killing her so she absolutely would make the perfect villain for a Beast Boy movie.
