I agree not everyone goes through WD or ends up homeless. If you read some recovery literature from different fellowships, it mentions stories like her’s and other stories that give examples of addicts/alcoholics that have high bottoms or are the non-stereotypical addicts. The gifts of being sober is sitting with emotions and feeling the feelings. Drinking and drugging are symptoms of not being able to deal with life on life’s terms.
The ‘anonymous’ in any fellowship is about protecting the space and the individuals in that space so ppl can share openly and freely knowing what they say won’t be repeated. It’s a place where some ppl can learn how to be vulnerable. I wonder if this lady has ever gone to a few meetings in various fellowships.
I’m glad she is sober. Five highways will get you to Detroit. I hope this video can help someone get on the road of recovery.

You are right about high bottom, but "symptoms of not being able to deal with life on life’s terms" life terms? = someone(s) else terms like politics(power) religion(power) money(power) war(about who has power) which shapes our society, that is not life terms but others terms. (she was one of them on her yacht, blinded by sight). Animals world lives in nature's harmony.
