Anime and movie mix.
Since I could not find any properly synced mix of the two versions of this theme sung by Crystal King (the original song of the 1984 anime and the 2006 version made for the movie "Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken: Raoh Den Junai no Shō"), I decided to make my own mix, using the karaoke version of the later, while keeping the vocals of the anime's opening.
For the first chorus I decided to use "TV size" of the song because of the strings that only that edit has. For the second chorus and the rest of the lyrics I used the album version. As for the ending of this mix, I used the instrumental version of the movie instead of the karaoke in order to finish the song with the electric guitar.
I also put the lyrics on screen. I'm not a professional in editing audio or video, nor a japanese speaker, but I still did my best.

I think this is the best version of Ai wo Torimodose. It basically takes best parts from both versions and mixes them together. I'm surprised how well it works

I've just realized someone made my dream come true. Truly, if you saw this I must say I'm a fan of the manga but I've always loved the song from the anime. I always thought the instrumental of the movies was better yet the voices from the anime remains more touching. Anyway, thank you very much, what you did is awesome.

I was listening to the movie theme thinking to myself “Man, if this version had the anime’s vocals it would be perfect” and lo and behold I spot this in the suggestions. I then played this on loop for several hours whilst playing Virtua Fighter (not an uncommon thing for me to do though, I watched You Spin Me Round’ on loop for like 7 hours one time).
