In Vancouver, Canada, "Concealing a product" is not theft. The shop clerk legally did everything right, and even didn't accuse the kid of stealing. Accusing him of theft, for concealing a product, in Canada is a tough go. It's a tough battle dealing with theft in Vancouver as a business owner.

I think if ANYONE steals from another collector they aren't real actual collectors, they're just trying to steal valuable cards and than resell them to make money. I recently just started collecting cards again cause my older brother is doing Pokemon card collection and he told me about One Piece Trading Cards which is what I'm collecting now. No collector will steal from another collector just a standard rule that most know about, all about trading and/or paying for a good deal.
You should come up with a phrase to say to your buddy that means to be on high alert like "8 ball, side/corner pocket" or "Pop Smoke, 11 o' clock" or some shit that you can decipher where to pay attention to.

I never coin flip kids because I feel like I’m being a party to them gambling but when the one kid lost and you still have him 150 makes you a good guy
Theres a reason people with showcases in businesses show only 1 item at a time. The vendors fault they give people too much opportunity to steal. Let them handle handfuls of cards you are going to get people being sly. Dont give people such benefit of the doubt. There are just as many good honest people as there are thieves. For as mant workers you have working, one customer per worker. And only 1 item at a time. Theres no need to rush things. People can learn patience and wait their turn

Post his picture at EVERY table/booth to shame the stealing out of him.
W handling and there should be some kind of consequence or a register for people trynna steal
Wow, way to stay calm about it. Great eye.
very good catch!
👀
That Blue Eyes in the beginning looked fake.. It's flavor text does not say "Super Rare card" or anything. What are you trying to pull?
Collecting something called poke mon is the real crime here.
I’m so relieved it wasn’t the kids doing deals all video 😂
you need a wall of shame for people that try to steal. You went way easier on that kid then I would have.
You should come up with a phrase to say to your buddy that means to be on high alert like "8 ball, side/corner pocket" or "Pop Smoke, 11 o' clock" or some shit that you can decipher where to pay attention to.
you're a good guy, you got to figure out a way for us people in the US to help support you, either by coming to card shows here or throwing stuff up in an online store!!
Ayy! Just watching supports is huge too!
We do have our website tho! Just all prices are in CAD 👀😁
Love pokemon, and it’s rare that I watch vids like this but this dudes vibe was great lol. Making me want to come to a pokemon type event like this I have a ton of pretty good cards to trade/sell. I wanna experience this but I could swear I’ve never seen any in the Bay Area
Card shows are a super fun experience, I highly recommend trying to attend one one day! Appreciate the support big time too! Thanks for watching 🙏🙏🙏
you're too nice bro! Idk how I would have reacted if I saw a d1p like him steal it in front of me, just like that...
I was at a show couple weeks ago and I was going through picking out what all I wanted. Was a large table but I made sure I always informed them what I picked out and kept my hands always showing. I ain’t ending up on a video. lol.
I never coin flip kids because I feel like I’m being a party to them gambling but when the one kid lost and you still have him 150 makes you a good guy
always be wary of people who hold slabs or tins or anything that you can slip cards under. its the most common way people are stealing these days
he was just keeping it warm for ya
Hey this is David the usual yugioh friday suspect! Stumbled upon your video on my feed!
Haha ayy! 😎🙏
Ppl saying u did well and was nice...bro no next time call someone and tell them to lick him out. Make it a big deal so ppl see what kind of person he is and teach him a lesson of not he will keep doing it. If he just gets a slap on the wrist then he will keep thinking its no big deal if he gets caught. U did good but we can't let these kids run around doing it to everyone else. Of he tried it with you he probably tried with more ppl, heck he probably succeeded
Pretty true as well, he was talked to by event staff after everything so there was that too tho 😅
You handled it alot better than most of us in the comments 😂.
same same, just different. lmao
42:46 - Which comic was that? Asking for a friend 👀
Persuasion #2 Tessica Edition C 👀
Don't they have security you can alert?
You are an awesome dealer!
Offering 80% is actually really nice!
Not gonna lie at first I thought the stealing “kid” was your buddy cuz he kinda opened the case out of no where in the beginning. Then I kept watching and I was like oh that’s the homie helping at the booth 😂.
🤣🤣🤣
