Great information in all of your videos, so thank you sir. The Roxon has been in my pocket since I got it. The D2 blade and full-on scissors are the main reason. Having the changeable bits is a plus.
Fav the NEXTOOL E1… it’s lightweight and fits the pocket comfortably…you barely notice it’s there…as far as opening the tools… you figure it out when you EDC it everyday…it’s not a biggie and I’m not in a rush to deploy the tools.
The KS2E is awesome. I bought the nextool E1 though. I wanted that utility blade more than I wanted the D2 and the bits. I wish more multi tools had the utility blade handle. That thing is boss.
@Tcoldsteel it's plastic. Sadly. I did end up getting the roxon too in the end. I love that xacto blade. But the rest of the e1 just isn't as good as the roxon.
I have to agree with the KS2E love. The NexTool is pretty cool, but I rarely need an Exacto blade. I remember using one several years ago to cut out some stencils. What I do use a lot are scissors, A LOT. I have found that I rarely use multitools with plyers. I use a multitool for maintenance as I notice it in the wild. If I'm doing work, I'll grab real tools.
Have the arm bar bought the rokson e2 it's way better man try it for 38 bucks it's prolly the best thing you can get d2 blade the drill bit the flip fidget factor 25 year warranty it's a real quality multi and it locks everything open also push button open the saw locks an works well it's better then the others in this video only thing I'd choose over this is the sog pyrite or pyrite mini an that's for pliers really
It’s amazing how many times I use tweezers. For me it would be the roxon or T4. But alas, for my EDC I have the victorinox huntsman with firefly and a pocket clip so it handles most everything I need.
Hi, so sorry for your bad shopping experience. If the pocket tool E1 can not work for your well, you can applied full refund and return the item to us. And I would record all customer feedback to the engineer, they would double check can we refine it soon. Thank you for your understanding.
Roxon M3 is competitive with the KS2, has the same sized scissors, is smaller, comes with a bit kit and is half the price. The knife isn't D2 but it's clearly not a hard-use tool
I have the Roxon with the D2 blade, mine came with a sheath and the bit kit just over $37 with shipping directly from Roxon. In my opinion weight is unimportant if the tool set works for me.
The craft blade is what sold me on the E1. I bought one and I love it. I don't have a problem getting it out of the knife. I think the Roxon is really better in many ways...I would have bought it if it had the craft blade instead of the file or something.
Excellent review. It's pretty clear from this video that the E1 targeted the Gerber (both blade heavy with bit drivers and afterthought files) and Roxon targeted the Leatherman (as well as the Fieldmaster). For my money, the Roxon wins this showdown every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Is the Gerber still unsafe to open, or have they fixed the issue Dominic had?
nextool e1 would be perfect if only had longer main blade, better / harsher file structure (current is very 'soft') also scissors could opens more.. victorinox scissors still better in that comparison.
I carry the Roxon KS2 in my pocket, Gerber Dime in my 5th pocket and the Victorinox Midnite Manager on my carkeys. In my wallet i have the Victorinox Card Lite.
When you say Exacto, is that an American scalpel blade company ? On the Free T1 all the wasted space filled with gray plastic annoys me. It's just not a refined design.
X-acto is owned by Elmers Products Inc. In the US we sometimes call any small craft, hobby very small blade exacto blades. In the Nextool kit it does have x-acto labeled on the bottom of the blades.
I have loved my Gerber Lockdown pry $22.95 at an online site. Paired with LM ARC. No Roxie junk or jextool junk mystery steel to worry about. Rixon and Nextool will never produce something long enough to get a real replacement. LM and Gerber will
I bought Nextool e1 and i think its garbage, the toolset is great but the tools are so hard to get out, the file wouldnt even work on soft wood. Now its just gonna collect dust
totally agree and something more: screwdriver bit on my e1 was garbage too, it doesn't hold on philips screws well so I must apply force to screw. And when I apply force, bit driver folds back on my fingers
@@daxomega007 maybe mine was a Friday afternoon example, best of luck with yours friend. It should also be said that i never had fingernails for these kind of opening tools and with generally thick fingers 😎😎😎
agree, file is a joke, main blade is quite short and it is very hard to opens it one hand and scissors as not that good as they look. Many thinks these would be excellent scissors cause they are big but in reality bc they opens narrowly it is not that comfortable to use.

The KS2E really stuck with me with the G10 scales, upgraded D2 blade and that all the tools can be opened one handed 👌🏽
Great information in all of your videos, so thank you sir. The Roxon has been in my pocket since I got it. The D2 blade and full-on scissors are the main reason. Having the changeable bits is a plus.
Thanks! Great to hear the Roxon is working good!
the KS2E is superb. The blade & the scissor with the upgraded steel are even better than the KS2 (which is already pretty good).

Is the thumb-stud on the e1 plastic or metal? Very tempted to
@Tcoldsteel it's plastic. Sadly.
I did end up getting the roxon too in the end. I love that xacto blade. But the rest of the e1 just isn't as good as the roxon.
@ thanks for the reply. I think it’s the KS2E for me too
@@Tcoldsteel you'll be happy. Wish it had the xacto. But oh well.
Note, there is a new contender called the Caressolove 14 in 1. Quality remains to be seen, but it has an impessive tool set and detachable scissors!

Just ordered the Nextool a few days ago. Mostly for the massive scissors!
The rest is covered by Knipex slip joints and a Swiss Army Knife
Nice!
Thank you for your support for NexTool.
@@NexTool168Hope to see more unique multitools soon!
Agree. The scissors cut well and has a nice compact form factor…love this design style of scissors…I use it a lot.

For the nextool I would've liked to see a way of storing exacto blades in the bit kit.
Nice BUT.... really want a small plyers in the mix.... like the old Leatherman Juice but a little smaller
I was very disapointed with the E1 plus its so hard to take the elements out 😂 loved the Roxon tho
