The coinflip is physics based and deterministic. Getting 8 tails in a row should be incredibly rare, but multiple players have been reporting such cases, WAY TOO MANY players according to statistics and probability calculations. Japanese players have found that if you drag your coin all the way up to the limit the game lets you, no more and no less than the limit, you can drag your finger up to the pokémon's image on the card and it will always flip heads if everything goes right. They only RNG based coinflips are the ones that happen after the first coinflip.
Used Marowak. Attacked 6 different times with it (which equals 12 coin flips). I got 11 tails back to back to back. At the very end I got one heads. I don't use this pokemon anymore and I also don't use the Eevee coin anymore.
the way to get the decimal places on the percentages, would be to make your testing range larger, in other words, test longer, that way your end results are more precise❤ great video though. hope it was fun
I swear flip until tails attacking moves are more likely to get tails on the first coin eevee card has gotten me the same amount of zeros in a row u got,
Fun Fact: The coins scrolls down after 9 coins so you can keep watching the coin storm and it keeps scrolling every 3 coins after that. Source: I've seen it happen because of facing Misty. Multiple times. There comes a point where you're not sure if the game hates you enough to put you through such massive overekill on you or if it loves you enough to let you witness the coin storm.
Getting at least one exact 420 damage in 50 trials is 17.7% likely to happen. The chance of 420 or more damage in 50 trails is 34.4%. Rare, but not like super rare.
A short written hope Leads to the haiku frenzy I attend fun stream Felt like it's appropriate to reply to this video with another haiku. Sneaky starting the haiku shenanigans ended up making the stream very funny I did not expect the stream to evolve into this when I tuned in lol.
Just so you know, 1% is not "REALLY close" in statistic terms. Just had to mention it because you kept saying it. And the "Only reason this happened could be because of the haiku!" thing is just wrong, the "only way" it could've happened is simply because you have a demonstrably low sample size. No offense on that to be clear, but like... You are just wrong, I'm sorry to say.
statistics nerds are welcome here :) I mix jokes and math a lot so I love having folks clarify in the comments which is which. Its good engagement, and keeps folks educated!
Let's compare them Gen 1 miss: adds 1/256 chance to miss using 1 attack. Neglegable in 50% accuracy attacks Here: 8 of 50% accuracy attacks (with damage scaling) which missed and more afterwards
sure i'll integrate this into my belief system
:D

Ooof! Sorry for the bad luck!
I think this solid evidence.
Will be casting my own spells when I play my Pokémon
At the end of the day, they probably have the mic on 🤣 checking who’s naughty and nice ya know
Lolz 🤣

True enough! and thanks!

Oooof bad luck! Have you tried eevee haiku? :D
I got 11 heads on a misty once
Wow Nice!
1 in 256 chance is not THAT improbable...
yeah i once got the sword of kings in earthbound in as many attempts (1/256 drop rate)
1 in 256 is not that bad, in the long run!
Same odds to encounter a Fiend in SMT1 and SMT4 vanilla. Its supringsly more common than I thought
I like how many times this comes up in other games :D

Oooooo good maths! I should have checked that, super counterintutive and very cool! yeah 1-255/256^50 =~17.7 wow thats wild! Thanks!
This man has been slowly spiraling into insanity since the no damage Ptero deck
Kekeke thanks! I like making things fun with a hint of nutty!
I've got a 480. Enjoy playing this guy a bunch. Anyways, notable things. Enjoyed the video!
what was your godlike haiku?
Nice score!! and Thanks!
A short written hope
Leads to the haiku frenzy
I attend fun stream
Felt like it's appropriate to reply to this video with another haiku. Sneaky starting the haiku shenanigans ended up making the stream very funny I did not expect the stream to evolve into this when I tuned in lol.
SPARKY!!!!!!!!!!! Hey, yeah that stream was super fun thanks for the awesome haiku(s)!
@@SneakyDragonI’m only here to boast about my 11 heads on my misty
To claim corelation with haiku quality let people unaware of any context rate them. Then calculate corelation and p-value
That......is a super reasonable response!

You are absolutely right, but I'm 99% sure they are joking
@@ecowo57 yeah yeah i'm just a statistics nerd so i needed to point it out

I've gotten 10 heads with Misty, video coming soon, what's the odds of that?
If I've done the math right, its about 1/2048 (the chance of ten heads, idk the odds ill do a misty video)
Gen 1 miss at the start of the stream
Let's compare them
Gen 1 miss:
adds 1/256 chance to miss using 1 attack. Neglegable in 50% accuracy attacks
Here:
8 of 50% accuracy attacks (with damage scaling) which missed and more afterwards
ooo neat tidbit! I didn't know gen 1 had a 1/256 thing!
Holy tongue divine, Bless these coins with heaven's grace, Ten heads, perfect light
This comment is currently in consideration for best Haiku. Final results have not yet been calculated. Congratulations on making it to the finals!
8 misses...My man, I used moltres ability for 6 turns straight and only got 1 heads. I'm yet to see someone beat that. 17 tails and one heads.
Oooof thats legendarily brutal luck!
@SneakyDragon To you perhaps...But to me, it was Tuesday.
good news! flipping tails 8 times in a row is just 8 different 50/50 chances!
(yes i am aware "the exact same result consecutively" would be 1 in 256 but each flip is still 50/50)
lol! Technically correct :D
Now do Misty next
Perhaps iambic pentameter for misty?
Lickitung is dead got Maxed damage (990) today with Celebi EX! New best card for damage records!
You are not wrong. I do maintain however that lickitung is the silliest card for damage records :)
@@SneakyDragon True, most i got with Lickitug was 11 Heads xD
Flip outcomes are the same in mins 🤦🏼♂️
you’re funny
Thanks!
