Hahaha a few folks have mentioned the no-concede rule. You have some good suggestions but we are actually limited to 2 copies of each card, so no 3rd x-speed. I commend you for your patience on this challenge, and I've got a great idea for another challenge for you to try. When you examine a player's stats, you can see what their highest damage attack of all time was. I think it would be cool to see you break 300 max damage and have it be on your record forever. There are a few mons you can try this with, including alakazam and lickitung. Would make for a pretty fun video imo
Thats a good idea! Thanks! I've been playing a bit of lickatung lately for funsies, but I'll record my attacks and see if I can get a really high one :D
Promo Jigglypuff for sleep turns? Well you don't want to put an energy on it huh. Also, while not that strong, Abra's Teleport is basically just that it can retreat without losing its energy. Basically it has a built in x speed.
My version ran pidgeot to have a little bit more control over what they could hit me with, but I'm loving the porygon tech and might have to do it again haha
I did this challange with my charizard deck that runs an aerodactly against a mewtwo deck. I never got any charmander and my moltres never attacked, when I saw the guy pumping the mewtwo I was afraid that he was going to kill the moltres and changed it back with the aero that procceded to send the mewtwo and the gardevoir away, very cool way of winning.
My first idea for another challenge was "Win by only dealing Damage with poison" but because swapping cures poison I'm not sure if that's not a bit too hard🤔 Another one could be "Win with only Basic Pokémon that could evolve". So no Farfetch'd and only stuff like Squirtle. Maybe some crazy multitype shenanigans🤔
Why no butterfree as plant type “clutter”? Lower retreat than metapod should you need to evolve the active caterpie and adds healing should you need it late game
I know I'm late but wouldn't this be easier if instead of Caterpie you used a mon with a possible 0 retreat cost? Like Dodrio and Starmie. Essentially this gives you a second out to get Aerodactyl on the active instead of X Speed you can just evolve and retreat
Haha! Oof not with this deck! I stream my 5 consecutive run, got it pretty quick, then I conceded 100 times in a row to help other folks. Maybe I'll post a vid of that at some point!
wouldn't this deck be able to work without Caterpie? i'm pretty sure you would have better luck using just two Porygon and Aerodactal. having a second Aero would also help fill up your deck which i do have; i'm just thinking up the most optimal deck if you had all the cards you could need i was also thinking that Dratini could be a helpful basic Pokémon in this deck sense they have slightly more health than the average basic evolving Pokémon, one retreat cost and no weaknesses, so it'd be better at walling than Porygon's 50 health and Fighting weakness
You are right, the final version of the deck would have likely worked better porygon replacing all of the caterpie if I had another porygon. A second aero would have made it sooo much easier too. I'm kind of glad though I ended up missing some cards because I feel like lots of youtubers somehow have all the cards and I want to show that you can do cool stuff even as free to play! Good point about the dratini, it would have probably been better than the 2nd caterpie!
Wait a minute, what about if your opponent has only a Muk or Weezing and they use Koga? You would win because they don't have any Pokemon left, but would you have counted that as a surrender? Or you would have won the challenge?
Ooof that makes 3 people who have figured out part of my next video already :D There will be more stuffs than that in it though ;) Clever thoughts! Also if that had happened I probably would have not counted it since I did not cause it.
Pidgeot instead of sabrinina? A few folks have brought this up, and I'm not sure! I don't know if I would have had enough time to evolve the stage 2, since I had to win quickly. On the other hand maybe. Its an interesting idea!
I found a way of wining with other way u need some one using zapdos as main and que erikas to heal a +100hp pokemon and sabrina to force him play zapdos and kill own team
What are the odds of this actually happening? I made the calculations Having at least 1 (out of 2) fossil on your first turn is 46.78% On top of that, having 1 (out of 1) aero on your second turn, reduces the odds to 13.24% On top of that, having at least 1 (out of 2) xspeed on your second turn, reduces the odds to 5.75% This still does not consider the odds of the player having more than 1 pokemon....
This is the kind of math I like! Good stuff! I think with the reshuffle tech, prof oak (unless you accounted for oak already), and the possibility of fossil delaying 1 additional turn, maybe we can bump the final number up to 3-5%? I'm releasing a lickitung math video soon you might like :D
@@SneakyDragon oh, totally forgot to consider professors research. They make way more annoying to compute by hand. I might need to write a script for that

I did that challenge accidentally 🤣🤣🤣 I'm using aerodactyl in my dragonite deck for stalling, my opponent setted 2 pokemon and I placed a dratini and later a fossil and I used x speed to switch and placed a energey on it then my opo just attacked then I send that pokemon back to the deck and on his turn he didnt placed a pokemon and I got head again, so I won on my 3rd turn.
Vulpix would be a good stall! However in this challenge, if I stalled too long victory would become impossible, which is why I didn't use vulpix. Good thinking though!

Good insights! Promo Mankey is a great idea! Not sure if it was out yet when I did this, might have been? Great idea either way!
He should’ve used Hypno for the sleep ability. And although the new Jigglypuff only came out now it would also help.😊
Truuuue folks been telling me :D Thanks! I'll try to use hypno in a future challenge!
@@SneakyDragon I'll be rooting for you!
Promo Jigglypuff for sleep turns? Well you don't want to put an energy on it huh.
Also, while not that strong, Abra's Teleport is basically just that it can retreat without losing its energy. Basically it has a built in x speed.
Good points!
My version ran pidgeot to have a little bit more control over what they could hit me with, but I'm loving the porygon tech and might have to do it again haha
I love Pidgeot! I ran it in all of my decks before I got sabrina!
You could also use moltres to put energy on aerodactyl faster
good vid
I did this challange with my charizard deck that runs an aerodactly against a mewtwo deck. I never got any charmander and my moltres never attacked, when I saw the guy pumping the mewtwo I was afraid that he was going to kill the moltres and changed it back with the aero that procceded to send the mewtwo and the gardevoir away, very cool way of winning.
Well done!
Abra's ability count as an attack so it is just worst than retreating.
"since i went first i can't play energy" huh i didn't know that because i've LITERALLY NEVER GONE FIRST
:O Thats insane! Going second is considered much better hold on to that luck!
My first idea for another challenge was "Win by only dealing Damage with poison" but because swapping cures poison I'm not sure if that's not a bit too hard🤔
Another one could be "Win with only Basic Pokémon that could evolve". So no Farfetch'd and only stuff like Squirtle.
Maybe some crazy multitype shenanigans🤔
Some fun ideas, thank you!
I was really hoping to see the results screen at the end with with the Damage Dealt stat at 0
Ah!!! You are right I should have showed that!
Why no butterfree as plant type “clutter”? Lower retreat than metapod should you need to evolve the active caterpie and adds healing should you need it late game
Watching the full video makes sense to pair down the deck. Especially because there isn’t really a late game
You got it! Though you are also right I would have added it in the beginning but I am not sure if I had it at the time. #ftp :D
There should be a secret mission with this challenge
ikr!
I know I'm late but wouldn't this be easier if instead of Caterpie you used a mon with a possible 0 retreat cost?
Like Dodrio and Starmie. Essentially this gives you a second out to get Aerodactyl on the active instead of X Speed you can just evolve and retreat
A few folks have mentioned that, I wanted to avoid stage 1 pokemon but I'll consider it for future challenges!
we need fossil research! XD
Love fossils!
so awesome, nice strat
Thanks I really appreciate your kind words!
Now you just need to get 5 in a row for the event
Haha! Oof not with this deck! I stream my 5 consecutive run, got it pretty quick, then I conceded 100 times in a row to help other folks. Maybe I'll post a vid of that at some point!
What is the heads coin flip trick?
Supposedly (I am unsure if I believe this tbh sounds kinda fake) you can get heads by moving finger from the coin to the top of the screen.
Awesome Idea!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
“Blastoiste” counter:
1) 21:16
2) 21:18
3) 21:34
4) 21:55
5) 25:57
wouldn't this deck be able to work without Caterpie? i'm pretty sure you would have better luck using just two Porygon and Aerodactal. having a second Aero would also help fill up your deck which i do have; i'm just thinking up the most optimal deck if you had all the cards you could need
i was also thinking that Dratini could be a helpful basic Pokémon in this deck sense they have slightly more health than the average basic evolving Pokémon, one retreat cost and no weaknesses, so it'd be better at walling than Porygon's 50 health and Fighting weakness
Omg! That was amazing lol.
Thanks!! I appreciate it!
With my luck I'm pretty sure you would have won first try against me
I hope you have good luck in your next game!
Did unintentionnaly that aerodactyl strategy because i play a full normal deck, bros starmies got bullied into oblivion.
Congrats! Here is your 'no damage' badge :D
It's all coming up 19!
Can't you do this a bit easier by using Aerodactyl and Pidgeot?
Pidgeot instead of sabrinina? A few folks have brought this up, and I'm not sure! I don't know if I would have had enough time to evolve the stage 2, since I had to win quickly. On the other hand maybe. Its an interesting idea!
My favourite part is that you said data instead of data
"Whats the difference?" "One is my name and one is not!" :D
I found a way of wining with other way u need some one using zapdos as main and que erikas to heal a +100hp pokemon and sabrina to force him play zapdos and kill own team
should have added butterfree for the heal ability….
Missed opportunity. Future challenge maybe :)
Weird that you aren't running butterfree
What are the odds of this actually happening? I made the calculations
Having at least 1 (out of 2) fossil on your first turn is 46.78%
On top of that, having 1 (out of 1) aero on your second turn, reduces the odds to 13.24%
On top of that, having at least 1 (out of 2) xspeed on your second turn, reduces the odds to 5.75%
This still does not consider the odds of the player having more than 1 pokemon....
I might need to write a script for that
@@PietroPepeTech I have written entire programs for this stuff before, I think I'm satisfied with an answer of about 5% though. If you like this kind of stuff though I do have a discord

(though tbh not much happens in it atm, but one day! One day I will be a big youtuber with lots of fun math discussions about the probabilities of gaming things!)
ive won without doing dmg with aerodactyle before. i opened it and the fossil and my opp had one basic the whole game. challenge done ez pz.
Congrats! I award you the 'No Damage' badge. Pokemon cards up to level 10 will now obey your orders even if received from a trade! ;)
Umm... i think i might have won maybe three or four games without the other conceeding.
Wow! Here is a 'No Damage' badge :D
Congrats!!!! Here is a 'no damage badge! :D
Why just 1 Aerodactyl???
Blastoise only has one T 😂
Also. X speed. Not EX
@@lassorbrandon Spelling! My one true weakness! :D
So just a pacifist win challenge with with Aerodactyl?
I feel like vulpix would have helped to stall
Vulpix would be a good stall! However in this challenge, if I stalled too long victory would become impossible, which is why I didn't use vulpix. Good thinking though!
I did a similar thing, but I only won with ten damage from meowth
Nice!
somehow i got the win within a few tries. The team I built are around vulpix and hypno =))
Congrats! Here is your 'No Damage' Badge :D
where tf is promo jiggly
Aerodactyl?
