    Man that was awesome.
My first car was a vitamin c orange 70 dart with a 225.
My buddies and I took a K member and 318 from a 73 dart and changed everything over in an afternoon.
Man I miss that car so much.
    Great video..

What a great ride! I had a 73 Swinger. Mine had the much less desirable 318. It was still a great car though. Especially when you consider I bought it for $50!!! Those were the days...

Too cool. Congratulations. A late friend of mine owned a '71.
I'm about to pick-up a '64 Dart wagon with slant 6. My son and I are going to drop a Mopar 340 V8 in it. Vitamin C orange will be the color - his favorite.

My Highschool car in 1974, and 1975. Same colors and all.
The stripes on the back told other drivers it was a member of the Scat Pack, high performance. Only Dodge members only.
No A/AC, no power steering, no power brakes, no carpet, and no radio, only a cigarette lighter. My car had black hood scoops, only difference. But man, when I swapped the cam, installed Headman headers, swapped the intake for a Edelbrock aluminum , carburetor and changed the rear gear.? It would take down the Chevrolet Malibu 396, the Camaros, and even roadrunners.
One car in my life, I really wish I’d kept.

2:40 "... the car gets better looking every year..." I was just thinking that. I remember seeing these Darts running around back in the 70s and not looking twice. Now they really turn my head. That was an astute comment, Lou!

Sorry Lou, but that's not the name of that color. How can this guy own this car, know so much about it, and not know the correct name for the color? That color is Go Mango, as Dodge called it, Vitamin C is what Plymouth called the same color. That's like when people see an In Violet Cuda 440 Six Barrel, and say "Look at that Plum Crazy 440 Six Pack Cuda", because they don't know any better?

Thanks, that 340 engine was strong in many Models of MOPAR... Interestingly,I almost bought a 1970 Four Door Dart In a color Green with : 340 Performance packages ( Scoops, Dual Exhaust, Auto, etc). A very strong performance Car: (I was just graduating Purdue in June 1970) but the Color And four Doors voted it not to buy.....I have always been interested in sleeper type cars with Performance add ons via Factories: e.g. Hemis In sedans, heavy Duty parts, TriCarb in trunks[Ford 309’s), etc....ps:: memory has it a SPECIAL ORDER PERFORMANCE four Door ! Could be Mistaken(?), 70 MOPAR EXPERTS WOULD KNOW ......
