I'm 1 of the few people who was always calling it out as the show went along I remember always discussing with my fam members who watched the show after every episode I personally got tired of her story at about S4-5 my exact words were "it's the same scenes with her wash, rinse, repeat.... my throne, my birthright give me your ships and army, I'm gonna burn this city, I'm gonna burn this city, I'm gonna burn this city." Over and over again while basically coming into everything because she's pretty. I always knew she'd burn KL because they kept on with the Targaryens mad Gods flip a coin thing, had they said it once or twice you can write it off but you don't mention it that much for it NOT to happen AND it was in Brans visions which everything in those happened I truly had no clue why people didn't expect it to happen. My only surprise was that they waited so long to do it(penultimate episode) I thought it would happen early S7 or finale at the latest.

Not Baelish, SANSA! Yes Sansa!! Baelish brought the knights of the vale for Sansa. Sansa wrote them. Give her her credit... she rarely gets any...
I give her nothing. She had no reason to not tell Jon they were coming. The only reason I can think of is she was hoping Jon would die in the battle and she'd be the hero for bringing in the Vale and everyone would love her sociopathic ass. I hate soooo much !!!!!
@@kylejohnson1308she had no reason to tell him? Every time she tried to give advice Jon just dismissed her and told her no. Like when she told him not to fall for Ramsay’s traps and what does he do? Ignore her when she warns him that Rickon is a dead man walking so don’t do something stupid. He separated himself too far from his army and put them in an impossible rushed situation that caused a lot of men to die.

We live in NE Ohio. The Battle of the Bastards aired the same night the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA championship. If you're at all familiar with Cleveland sports history history you know that it was HUGE big deal. I may have shed a tear. We finished the game before starting the GoT episode. Holy cow. My middle aged self thought I might have the big one before the night was over. Between the 2 soooo much anxiety and soooo much satisfaction. One of my all time favorite evenings with my kids.
What a delight two wins like that in one night! No party can match that afterwards

Y'all really have me smiling ear to ear rewatching this episode....let me tell you...when I first watched it I WAS STRESSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was with my college boyfriend and we were panicked....we started dating because we bonded over this damn show. Ramsey's death all these years later brings me SO MUCH JOY!

Ramsey's death scene was so so fullfilling.
This is probably my favorite single episode. But... lol when Sansa reminds Ramsey that he hadn't fed his hounds inn a week; how would she know? She rode off before Ramsey even said that. People will say "Jon told her" but NAY! Nay I say. I can't help but notice any inconsistency in a show. But I'm not hating I love this shit haha.
the later seasons are all spectacle, as enjoyable as episodes like this are, if you really think about most of the things going on logically, it just falls apart.

The one take was the only good thing about battle of the bastards. The rest of the battle was garbage.

Sansa has had too many "lessons" about trust and unfortunately, didn't trust Jon enough to tell him about the Vale and Petyr Baelish. She sent a note calling for the aid of her cousin Robin Aryn and her Uncle Brynden Tully. Robin (aka Peter) answered the call because Peter sees this as an opportunity to destroy the Stark Family and claim Sansa for his own (most likely) and be the largest land owner in the entire kingdom...HarrenHall, The Erie, and The North (which is the largest). He would hold more power than any other person minus the King. And it would only be a matter of time before Petyr set his eyes to the throne. Petyr really did play a good game of chess...but he also sacrificed too many "pons" that he stirs no loyalty.

okay real talk yall not even flinching when the dog bites and starts eating ramseys face off was fucking hilarious. most of the reacts i see cheer at that part but cringe a bit because the actual face biting part happened on screen. yall just cheering without even a grimace was funny af.

I'm almost finishing season 2 with you guys, but i hope when this is done Sophie (and to a lesser extent Mair, you had a few) watch their entire reaction to this show and see how many times they "predicted" things that came to be true. It's actually quite brilliant. Sophie "foresaw" a bunch of things. She has almost a magical sense of analysis.
I can't watch this episode til i catch up with the rest of em, but i imagine youll do house of the dragons (HOT D) after this. You guys are literally the best at reacting to this world. BEST, bet.

Game of Thrones is unique in my experience, in that I've never been so rabid to see certain characters murdered in the most painful way before this show.
The producers and author do a wonderful job of making us hate the antagonists in GoT, lol.
Sansa told Jon that Rickon will die and he should not do what Ramsey wants him to do... and what does Jon do ?

"no dumb stuff got stab him in the face.." lol Ramsay was a dead man walking in this episode. This was the moment. Lightning in a bottle. yes the payoff felt so good because of all those near misses, all those moments they pulled the rug from under your feet. It's because they didn't give you any fanservice, they put you through the wringer and made you earn it. It's the journey that makes the moment.

Alot of people complain and also many reactors have said that rickon should of zigzagged and not to run in a straight line but all that was going through his mind was running for survival and getting to safety which was jon ... Think baxk to the last time you had to run for safety or something .. afterwards we all say maybe i should of done this or done that but at that moment in time you don't think of these things .. so think before you comment.. if anything was disappointing is why wasn't jons army have helmets or more armour?? Or give the giant a weapon even if it was a tree log like in hardhome these are bigger issues then rickon running in a straight line
We saw Ramsey hunt women on foot running through the forest. As if Rickon running zig zag would have actually made a any significant difference.
Do they really thing he's not familiar with zig zag or any variation of disoriented, terrified people running from him?
PUT SOME RESPECT ON SANSA!! The note she sent was to Baelish and he owed her. And he can't get close to Winterfell if Sansa/Jon don't have it. It was Sansa who saved Jon's ass.
The Vale didn’t care about Littlefinger. They came at Sansa’s request.

@@ramoncarter3121 personally, i did not like 10, as is the case with most episodes on season 6 and onward. I liked 9 simply because there wasn't much plot to fuck up and the battle was pretty well shot and directed.

The show has demonstrated over & over that Jon is NOT intelligent. He’s above average let’s say, but he makes mistakes that should’ve gotten him killed multiple times.

In My head cannon, and a Lot of book Reader's head cannon... Tyrion is The mad king's bastard son. Aka dany's bastard brother.
The mad king was said to hate tywin, and he like to spite tywin a Lot talking about how he would like to bed his wife.
Tywin hates Tyrion, and likes to Say to him "You are no son of mine" or "i can not prove You are not mine, so i brought You up as a lanister as My son".
Thats why Tyrion was a little cool with the dragons and always wanted a dragón since he was a kid.
Of course this is just nerds theories.

In the books , in-universe, the characters Do think tywins wife was visited by the night king. Tywin in the books suspect expkicity that tyrion is the mad kings son. Tyrion was born with one purple targeryan eye (this is omited from the show), and tyrion has a facination with dragons since he was a kid.
This isnt a made up fan theory. This is an "in the story" gossip.

The show had already jumped the shark by this point. The longer and longer action sequences did not cancel out the declining character development and ever growing plot holes.

No the King died in the tunnel under The Wall. Grenn and a few other Nights Watch died fighting him. The Giant here was the last one

That does it Ramsay finally crossed the line here. Everything else before this that he did was nothing compared to him making the last true Stark male run for his life to his bastard brother who he last saw when he was like 4 years old. I never thought Ramsay would be so evil to do this I legit never saw it coming from him.
